Chapter 16: Ch 16. A Normal Night??

"Finally everything is done."

Homura was sitting on a train which seemed to be very vacant which is quite rare.

He opened up his social media account and directly posted a message about his novel.

"Hello, everybody! It's Sakura here. And I am happy to tell that my novel - Five Centimetres Per Second has been set to be published soon. So stay tuned!"

Homura typed and posted in his Twitter account.

"Here it's posted now."

Without bothering to read the comments, he opened up the novel website and wrote about his novel on an extra note to let all the readers know about it.

*Ting!* *Ting*

"Oh! It seems I reached back."

Homura walked down from the train and started walking towards his apartment which wasn't that far from the station which made him very convenient to travel.

"A bit thirsty... There is... That vending machine."

Homura ran a bit and reached the juice vending machine which was near the roadside.

"Orange juice would be good."

He selected orange juice button and took out and started drinking it.

"Whoa! It feels so good to quench the thirst with a cold drink! I feel like I am in heaven!"

Then he sat down on a bench beside the vending machine.

"It's good to drink slowly by sitting down on a bench."

*Sip*

He put down the drink beside him upon the bench and with a very lazy posture looked above just like before when he was in school.

"To think the night would be so beautiful..."

He looked above expecting the starless sky due to pollution and clouds in the night but what he saw was nothing less than pictures he used to see in his previous life animes.

"The stars are so clear... And are twinkling just like diamonds in the sky... Damn! Now I know why all over the world are so much fascinated about space."

*Sip*

He took another sip and closed his eyes for a while to feel the silence.

Nobody was that wandering in night and all his surroundings were quiet except the sounds of moths and other insects who are attracted towards the street light on the roads.

"Night is so quiet."

After five to six minutes, he stood up and threw his juice can to the dustbin near him.

"Now, time to go home."

Putting both his hands in his jacket, he started to walk towards his apartment.

He was walking easily humming a tune he was familiar with.

Homura kicked directly in the lowest point with full 180° spin which contained a very much force due to momentum his kick carried with spin.

Homura's attack was a quite surprise but still Yor jumped and easily dodged his kick. After all she isn't a high class assassin for only name.

But what she didn't know was that Homura expected her to dodge!

'I knew you would dodge it very cleanly. Do you think I don't know about you? Hah! Now it's pay time!'

Just using that split second, Homura used the taekwondo's movement skill - Re-Taekwondo: Bo-Bup which makes him move to any place in a instant like teleportation to move in front of her from the down on ground.

Now for the first time, he was proper face to face with Yor. Even though he was quite excited he didn't forget the danger.

"Now, take this! Renewal Taekwondo: Front Kick!"

Keeping his left leg as base, with his all force he kicked towards her with his right leg.

Yor who knew it would be bad if she took a direct hit, so she quickly bought up her golden thorns in front of her just in the trajectory of the kick to defend herself.

"With this it's over, Waif--- W-What??"

Just before he could smash down his kick, his left leg slipped backwards on the road.

"Waaaa...."

*Crash!!!*

And this way was the first time Homura and Yor had their first kiss.
