"*Yawn!* Hmm...I slept while typing...."

Homura rubs his eyes and wakes up. He opened the window to ventilate the room for a bit. The morning rays entered the room giving it a glow. 

And with this all, the new morning for Homura arrived.

"I even have to go to school... Dad is still strict in these things..."

Homura who wanted to be a salted fish, obviously didn't wanted to go school. He already completed the courses and he doesn't have time to waste. But his father - Natsume Kouta told him atleast go to school.

Now the question in your mind must be if Homura ran away from his house, then why should he follow his daddy's commands? 

Now, think his father is one of the richest person in country. If his father forcefully tries to bring him home, then who can stop him. And Homura our boy is already obvious of this fact.

But it was a good thing that his father isn't that strict like other rich families and gave him a bit freedom. But still as per daddy's command he still have to high school or else...

"I guess I woke up early. Where is Pikachu? Is he still sleeping?"

Homura splashed water to his face and cleaned it a towel. Then he went to the bedroom to see Pikachu sleeping with a chips packet in his hands.

"After I slept he seems to have party.... I have to change the places for snacks. Pikachu! Wake up!"

Homura shaked Pikachu for a bit. Pikachu woke up with a very sleepy eyes. Homura carried him to bathroom and freshed up properly along with Pikachu.

"Pikachu come for breakfast."

"Pikachu!"

Pikachu quickly jumped upto the table and started eating.

After a simple breakfast of toast and jam, Homura took out his school uniform. A very typical school uniform. A white shirt with a black coat and black trousers.

Within minutes, he quickly got ready and prepared to leave.

"Pikachu, I am going. And you better not litter the floor."

"Pikachu!"

"So, this is my school. Toyogasaki High School."

With his usual disguise, Homura entered the school. Many students were going in with the same black uniform.

"Moving school is really a bother." Homura who entered the school searched for the teacher's room.

He searched and all in vain. Then he saw a boy who was very average, with black hair, black eyes, and wearing black rimmed glasses just like him. Better to say, that the student was all black.

"Excuse me."

"Yes?" The boy turned towards him to see who was calling him.

"Sorry for taking a bit of your time, but can you take me to the teacher's room?" Homura politely asked the boy.

"Okay. No problem."

Homura smiled a bit because of his help which even made the boy shocked for a bit. Seeing his shocked his face, Homura quickly took his normal face.

"Sorry, but suddenly you started to glow.... Umm.. It's hard to explain." The boy said.

"I get it." Homura nodded at his words. Even his smile somehow made this boy shocked for a bit.

'It seems I have to careful to not smile.' 

Homura who was lost on thoughts then saw the boy and then remembered that he forgot to introduce himself.

"By the way, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Natsume Homura. Homura is my first name."

After his introduction, Homura extended his right hand as a token of friendship.

"Oh! Where are my manners... My name is Tomoya Aki. Aki is my first name."

'W-What? What is the protagonist is here? Damn, I must be drowsy to not notice it. Even though, I don't want to meet... Now after meeting him making friends with him is not bad. And I can also use his support to promote my works.'

Tomoya shook his hand with Homura and both of nodded as a bond of friendship formed between them.

"You know you're just like me. Otaku." 

As both of them were walking, Homura told the first line which could him help him to make good friends with Tomoya-kun.

Otaku are very energetic but also very lonely existence. I don't mean as a insult, but after being shunned by society, many Otaku don't show themselves in public. 

But all Otakus have something in common. Due to minority, they have a strong sense of comradeship. No matter who you are, as long you are an Otaku, you are a part of our community.

Tomoya who heard this turned towards him with a shine in his black rimmed glasses. And full Otaku aura started to pour out from him.

And guess what happened? Yes, Tomoya and Homura became best friends quickly even though both of them just met.
