Flint stood in front of Jin. "Jin, the mission's simple. Just as I said … we're gonna rob someone. Our target is a drug lord; selling magic drugs and stimulants to even athletes."
"Today," he folded his arms again, "In around twenty minutes, he'll be switching from one vehicle to another, alongside his highly trained bodyguards."
"Listen up well though, comrades. These highly trained bodyguards obviously have abilities," he smirked, "A friend of mine managed to figure out exactly what these abilities are."
"So there are four bodyguards—yes, Eric's not risking it for anything, he needs all the men he can get to protect him. Even if he's just opening a fridge in his own house," he jested.
"Our insider revealed Eric's schedule to us. Every Friday he goes to a specific place; switching from vehicle to another for reasons still unknown."
"He needs four bodyguards because someone already tried attacking his arse recently."
"Two of these bodyguards are armed with firearms. They're the ones who will stand behind him as opposed to the guys, with Abilities, who'll stand in front."
"The one with hair possesses an Earth Ability, whereas the other, with a bald head, possesses superhuman strength."
"I'll attack the bodyguards alongside Krod, and Baron. Alura will distract the men as planned; drawing their attention to her body for us to get a chance to ambush them. And Jin, and Sylvia will keep watch for us; making sure that no cops near the police station show up."
"To inform each other about trouble, we'll use earpieces to communicate with each other. When the assault team, which is my team, is finished taking down the bodyguards, we'll enlighten you, and then we'll all make the run with the help of a portal."
"Simple?"
Jin, with dedicated eyes, nodded his head, "Simple. But where are we keeping watch? And what are we gonna do if the cops show up?"
Jin had many more questions, but the spell had blinded him a bit, and he chose not to ask them. He was even going as far as to ask how Flint's team was going to take down Trained bodyguards, but he relented.
Flint looked at him. "The assault team would just scram with a portal, if the police show up of course," he smirked, "Sylvia will lead you to where you're gonna be keeping watch. As soon as you get there, wear your masks."
Sylvia grimaced at him. Masks? What the hell was he talking about? She raised a brow. "Aren't me and Jin going near the police station? And wouldn't wearing masks and dressing in black draw suspicion?"
Upon hearing Sylvia, Flint paused as realization dawned on his face. He laughed aloud, and said, "Nevermind! You guys'll have to take off those clothes, and just blend in. No masks either." he scratched the back of his head. His face tinged in embarrassment.
"So," he clasped his hands together, "Are you guys ready?" he looked down at his wristband, "We have only twelve more minutes to get in position."
"Ready, boss," replied Krod, getting up from a sitting position.
The assault team gathered together. They put on their monkey masks, and amped up for the mission that was about to dawn.
Jin watched as Alura changed into exotic school girl clothes. She wore a white skirt that was so short that if the wind were to blow the slightest bit, it would reveal her pink underwear to the world. Her top covered only some of her breasts, leaving her lower body uncovered and appearing as a crop top.
She also wore white fishnet stockings that reached her lower thighs. What's more, she wore long eyelashes, and did her makeup over seventy times faster than Jin could.
"Jin?"
Jin quickly bolted upright, and spun around when he was caught looking at Alura. "Huh?" Dumbfounded, he acted stupid.
It was Sylvia who had called him. She stood before him; still wearing her black jacket.
"Are you coming or not?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Then take off those clothes."
His face crimsoned, "Huh?"
"We can't both wear black. You got anything under that jacket?"
"Yeah, a white shirt," he replied, looking down at his apparel.
"That'll do."
Jin then took off his jacket, and rested it in a corner of the alley they were amidst. He stood wearing his long, black pants, and a plain, white shirt.
The assault team, all wearing the same monkey masks, got ready.
Baron had a handgun in his possession, and Krod had a metal baseball bat in his hands. Whereas, Flint was empty handed.
Krod lifted the bat, placing it on his shoulder while a hand was still clutched onto it. "I'm ready for action! Can't wait to bash in some faces…"
Flint turned to him, narrowing his eyes, "You're not bashing in any faces today unless your life's on the line…"
Alura rocked her hips as she walked past the assault team. "Guys, I'm going in…" she fixed her tiny earpiece.
Baron placed an index on his earpiece, "Baron is ready…"
Flint also adjusted his earpiece, and spoke into it,"Alura? Are you hearing me?"
Alura had already walked off, but he could hear her speaking into the coms, "Copy…"
"Alright. Jin, Sylvia. Get in position…" Flint looked over at Jin.
"Alright, follow me, Jin," commanded Sylvia, adjusting her earpiece.
Jin started to follow Sylvia, leaving the assault team in the dark alley of the streets. They briskly walked upon the pavements, passing civilians of different races. They only stopped when they were at a four-way junction; merely a few meters away from the place where the assault team was supposed to act.
At the junction, they stood on the pavement. The road in that area was reminiscent of a cross to Jin: four different road pathways that can possibly be taken.
There was a police station a few meters down the pathway to their left. And their job was to only report to the assault team if the police drove up from the station, took a right turn and drove straight ahead where Flint and the others were.
And so, they remained on the junction; keeping an out for the cops that might swim into view.
What was clear to any citizen in this world was that police officers are the last people you want to mess with. They were controlling everything.
Even going as far as to have many lots of land, for their Police Stations that they only built these stations on and never used the rest.
Ordinary citizens were not allowed to enter certain streets where a police station alone was. They were only allowed if they were going to make a report.
If you were to get caught being close to the police without having the resolution of making a report there, you would be subjected to getting into severe trouble.
Sylvia peered at Jin, "Hey, Jin."
"Huh?" He looked at her.
"What are you doing? Why are you looking up at the sky so much? I'm sorry but this is no place for daydreaming…"
"I'm sorry. It's just that the sky's so dark when we're in the middle of the day. I think it's gonna rain … I don't know. Oh and," he turned completely to face her, "Can the others actually take down those 'highly skilled' bodyguards?"
Sylvia continued looking out for the police; shifting her attention away from Jin. "After working with Flint and the others for a while," she heaved, "All they managed to do was take me by surprise…"
"So you're saying they can take down those guys?"
She glanced at him, "I suppose…"
Jin drew closer until they were standing side by side. "They must be strong."
"Trust me, you've seen nothing yet."
"Also," he glimpsed at her, "I had no idea you were Flint's sister…"
She looked at him from the corner of her eyes, "He told you that?"
He blushed, "Yeah, he did. Wait," he grimaced, "You're not his sister?"
She averted her eyes. "Yeah, I am but … I just don't see why he'd tell you…"
"Oh, okay. You two look nothing alike…I don't see any resemblance…
"Why'd you say that?" She lend him an eye.
"You two are both good-lookers, but," he turned his head to get a better look at her, "I still don't—"
His words were cut short by utter shock. For the turning of his face allowed him to see not only Sylvia but someone behind them. At the corner of his eyes.
Quickly, he used all of his body weight to shove Sylvia out of the way. As a result, he received the hit to his back that was intended for her.
