Chapter 1: Left in the Dark

We zoom into a yellow-colored house through a circular window onto a young boy who’s sleeping on the top of a bunk bed. His hair is white, and he’s wearing a black tank top, with red shorts. His eyes start to open to the voice of his obvious twin.

"It's finally here! The live season finale of the greatest show ever!" he looks at a wall. "All right, I know you're probably saying to yourself, "Lincoln, with eleven siblings, there's no way you're going to get to watch your favorite show." And, you'd be right. Every Sunday at 8, it's the same thing."

[Cut to a flashback of his siblings fighting over the remote; End flashback.] 

"But tonight, I have a plan.", Breaks out his walkie-talkie, "Cadet Lincoln calling Cadet Clyde, do you read me?", the walkie talkie comes to life, "This is Cadet Clyde, I read you loud and clear! I'm so excited! We finally get to watch ARGGH! together. And by together, I mean you at your house, and me at mine, right?"

Lincoln looks at the wall again, “For such a landmark event, we decided that it'd be best for us if we watched it separately. Clyde's got a huge crush on my sister Lori. It gets awkward."

The walkie-talkie comes to life, “ Hubba hubba”

Lincoln presses the button on the side of the device, "Clyde? Clyde? Do you read me?". He lets go “Uh, you better hurry, Lincoln. It's almost 8:00!" He presses again, "It's time to put Operation Distract My siblings so That I Can Get to the TV First and Watch the Special Live Season Finale of ARGGH! and Think of Shorter Name For This Operation into action."

Lincoln walks out of the room, and the view switches to the previous boy with the time a couple of minutes later, he gets up and gets down from his bed as he rubs the sleep out of his eyes. He walks out of his room to see his older sister recording his younger sister’s fighting. 

The older sister dressed pretty normally for a teen her age with a white sleeveless shirt and a plaid skirt with yellow socks. Pinned to the front of the shirt was a squirt flower. He looked into the room she was recording in.

He saw his two little sisters going at it, one of them wears a pink gown with a tiara, while the other wears a red hat and a green shirt with jean overalls.

“Luan what's going on,” the boy asked his sister. “ Oh hey Leon why so serious,” Luan says with a grin. “seriously Luan we’re ripping off the joker now,” Leon says as he gives her a dead-paned stare. 

Leon sighs as he walks into the blond tornado and lifts both his sisters away from each other. “ Alright what’s going on,” he says as he looks at them. “It’s her fault,” they both say at the same time. 

“Tell Lana she can’t bring any of her frogs to my tea party,” one twin says. “Well tell Lola they suck without them,” Lana says. “YOU DARE” gasps Lola as the twins start to slap each other.“ ENOUGH! do you want me to bring Todd into this” the girls pale.

[ Cut to a flashback of Leon setting his first newly built robot on his siblings because they were starting to annoy him; End flashback.] 

“NO” they both scream, “good, now be nice to each other or else,” he says as he smiles, all three of his sisters see his hair start to float and in their eyes, he smiles insanely.

We see as Luan sidesteps slowly out of view and runs to her room.

“Good” Leon says as he hugs both of them, then walks out of his room to the bathroom, the view switches to the twin girls. “You saw that too, right,” says Lola. “Yup,” says Lana as they shudder.

We switch again to Leon as he quickly takes a shower, brushes his teeth, and puts on his clothes.

Leon has puffy white hair, and a black loop earring on his right ear, he wears a red hoody, jean shorts, and red and white shoes.

Leon leaves the bathroom and walks downstairs as he hears one of his sisters say, "I'm sorry, Lincoln, but you know the rule. I was here First." 

"NOOOOOO!" Leon sees Lincoln say then Lincoln looks at a remote and licks it "Ha!” he says. "That's the old remote that Lily threw into the toilet," Leon says.

[Lincoln gags, rubs his tongue, and spits out the germs. He then sobs.]

“You forgot about Lucy huh,” Leon says. “yup,” a downtrodden Lincoln says. “ Hey, why don’t you want the tv today Leon,” Lincoln asks his twin. “ Well, I finally found the time to build my own tv in my lab” Leon answers as he enters the kitchen.

“Figures” whispers Lincoln, he looks at Lucy, “ can’t you give the tv to your favorite brother”, begs Lincoln. “HAH” Leon laughs from the next room. "Sorry, Lincoln, I can't miss my vampires. Edwin is so cold and tormented and mysterious. Sigh... If only he wasn't from another century." Lucy says.

“Another century”, whispers Lincoln. "That's okay, Lucy. You watch your show on the big color TV. I'll just go watch my show on Dad's crummy, old, black-and-white TV." Lincoln says as he turns his back to her. "Black and white are my favorite colors." Lucy states.

"Yeah, it'll make watching my show a little bit more... spooky!" Lincoln says as he takes a step. "Spooky is also my favorite color," Lucy says. "Well, enjoy your vampires," Lincoln says as he gets to the stairs.

"Wait! I'll take the old TV!" Lucy screams. Leon comes out of the kitchen with a sandwich. “You are weak,” Leon says as he chews his sandwich and shakes his head. “Like you’re any better,” says Lucy.

[Cut to flashback as Leon agrees to be Lori’s caddie as she hugs him into her breast with him having closed eyes and a blissful smile on his face; End flashback]

Leon blushes as he says, “The day you guys found me watching anime will be a day I always regret.” Leon whispers. Lincoln turns to empty air, “When me and Leon were 6 years old my sisters found him watching anime with an incest protagonist on the family computer, that’s the day he decided to build his laboratory”.

[Cut to Lucy's room where Lincoln is found grunting to get the TV to the other side of the bed.]

"How can only two colors be so heavy?" [Puts it on the bed.] "Here you are. Now to plug it in. So, you can be happy or sad or whatever that emotion is. And I won't be left in the dark." [Plugs in the TV. Unfortunately, the plug is broken, and the power goes out.] "Dang it."

[Cut to the loud siblings as many of them murmur in confusion about the power outage.]

"All right! All right! Everybody just calm down!" Lori yells. "Guys! I can't see anything! I think I've gone blind!" Leni says with her eyes closed. "No, you didn't go blind. What the heck happened?" Lori says.

"I was just plugging in the old TV for Lucy and it must've made the lights go out," Lincoln says. "Of course, it was your fault, Lincoln," Lori says.“It’s always his fault,” Leon says. “Not always,” Lincoln says.

Leon just deadpans Lincoln, “Oh really.” he says. “I agree with Leon,” Luna says. “Me too,” Lucy says as she appears out of nowhere. “AAH!!” everyone screams except Leon.

“Nice one,” Leon says. “Thanks,” Lucy says with a smirk. "Okay. So, how about we get that power back on." Lincoln says. "Hey, when Mom and Dad are out, I'm in charge. So first, we need to get a head count to make sure we're all here." Lori says.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, and me, that's twelve. Yep, that's all of us. We are all here and accounted for." Lincoln says. “Let’s just get this over with,” Leon says.

"Again, in charge. I'll do it. Where's this circuit breaker thingy?" Lori says. "In the basement," Leon says.

[The kids arrive at the basement. Lori's silhouette peers over the basement's darkness.]

"Why am I the one who has to do this?" Lori says. "Because you're in charge!" everyone says at the same time angrily. "All right, all right! anyone has a flashlight.” Lori says. "Negative,” Lisa says.

"Just great..." [hears a wooden creak and gasps in fear] "There's something in the basement! I'm not going down there!" Lori screams. "Ooh! You're scared of the dark!" Lynn jr says. "I am not! You're the one who's scared." Lori says.

"I'm not afraid of anything," Lynn says. "Boo." Lucy and Leon say behind Lynn. "AAH!" Lynn screams.

[While most of the girls start arguing, the younger twins start to tremble with fright.]

"THERE'S A GHOST IN THE BASEMENT!!!" Lola and Lana scream. "Guys! I'm running out of time! It's really important that I...I...I..." Lincoln says as he and Leon look at each other. “OKAY, QUIET!" Leon and Lincoln scream. 

"Come here, you two. It's okay. There's nothing to be afraid of." Leon says as he hugs the younger twins to comfort them. "Your big brothers will protect you. In fact...we will protect all of you! For I am Cadet Lincoln!” Lincoln says.

“ and I’m Major Leon,” Leon says. “Soldiers of the Academy of Really Good Ghost Hunters! Or...ARGGH!" they say together. They put on high-tech night vision goggles.

[prepares to enter the basement] Lincoln looks into the darkness. "We will now descend into the scariest place in the house: the basement. But fear not, with Leon’s night vision goggles that he built for us, we can see in the dark."

[begins to head down but Lincoln slips down the stairs]

"Lincoln, are you okay?" Leon says. “yeah,” Lincoln says. Leon looks at Lincoln’s ankle, “ Nope you’re staying up top soldier. I’ll get the lights on then I’ll fix your ankle.” Leon says. Leon brings Lincoln back upstairs then goes back by himself. 

As the view stays on the eleven siblings, a couple of moments later the lights come back on. Leon comes back up. “Maybe I can still catch my show,” Lincoln says. Leon helps Lincoln to the couch. 

Leon goes upstairs and comes back a minute later with a spray which when he sprays it on Lincoln's hurt ankle it gets better. "Thanks," Lincoln says to Leon. "No problem," Leon says to Lincoln.

Lincoln then uses the remote to change it to the channel where his show is on. "WOW! That was by far the best episode of ARGGH! ever! I'd hate to be you if you missed it!" Hunter on the tv says.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Lincoln screams. Leon walks up and grabs the remote. “Relax, I recorded the episode for you,” Leon says. “But the only way to do that is…” Lincoln says. “Yup I deleted one of my episodes of Sonic the hedgehog,” Leon says.

The sisters walk into the living room. “But you love that ridiculous inaccurate show,” Lisa says. “ Not as much as Lincoln loves ARGGH!, enjoy it, bro,” Leon says and he gives Lincoln a fist bump, then walks upstairs. 

As everyone starts to get back to what they were doing before the electricity went out, Lincoln stares at his twin back then at a wall.  

“It’s things like this he does that let me know me and my twin brother will always have each other backs,” Lincoln says as he starts to watch the episode of ARGGH!
