Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Accident

A beautiful forest flourishes with plants, trees, and insects in a small forest behind a castle of elves. A human hunter around the age of 23 is seen carrying a bow carved from the finest quality tree, which is being guarded by the royal family of the elves.

"First prey of the day." 

The hunter put an arrow on the bow and pulled the string. As soon as the string was pulled, it emitted a small green glow, and when the bow was fired, the arrows cut through the wind and hit the wild boar, leaving green particles in its flight path.

A wild boar is hit by the arrow, which pierces the skin of the boar and manages to strike the heart of the boar, ending up killing it, and soon the hunter went to check the boar and to bring it home with him.

The hunter walked towards the exit of the forest and came to a halt when he heard the voice of the fairy.

"Draw your arrow and shoot that way." 

The hunter carefully dropped the boar and asked the flying fairy, who was at a form of glowing yellow light floating in the air.

"And why should I listen to a fairy?" 

The fairy answered with a panicked tone.

"Just shoot your arrows; they won't even hit anyone; there's nothing but forest at that location." 

Upon hearing that the path of where he's shooting is just forest, and with his experience as a hunter, he knows that there's no one at the location and just dense trees.

"Fine, I'll fire the arrow, but after this, you'll have to leave me alone, okay?" 

The fairies glow in response, indicating they agree with the hunter.

The hunter then pulls her bow from her back and proceeds to load an arrow. As she pulls the string, the string glows green as it is being pulled, but when the bow is fully charged, the fairy immediately casts an unknown spell on the bow without the hunter noticing, and when the hunter fires, the arrow is fired faster than sound.

"It has no sound." 

"No, it's faster than sound." 

The fairy comment

A beautiful elf is standing on a balcony from her room on a big castle a couple of meters away from the forest. She is standing on a balcony at the highest point of the castle. Winds touch her beautiful face, her round brown eyes, her long elf ears, a gold crown on top of her head, a gorgeous green dress, and her silky smooth skin.

"When will I ever get to roam this country free in exhaustion on how strict Father is?" 

The girl said

"I'm tired of being a princess; shake hands with that, talk to that, and praise that! "I hope I would just die to end this all." 

The girl stomps in frustration, and a weird mist appears out of nowhere and forms the image of a person and starts grabbing the neck of the elf, but the elf manager calls for guards.

"Knights! Help!" 

The elf tried to call for her knights, but the voice that came from her mouth was so soft that no one could hear what she was trying to say.

"Eccch,Accch,Aghhh" 

The elf is losing her breath, and soon her strength is leaving her body as she tries to fight back the black mist, but her hand just passes through it, doing zero damage. She soon realizes that it's her end, and as she is about to lose consciousness, she prays.

"Help me, anyone!" I don't care who it is; help me!

The elf thought as tears flowed down her eyes. With all hope, she faced the forest as she spotted a reflection of the tip of the arrow with accompanying green particles. At a speed faster than sound, the arrow passed through mist, and upon contact, the mist disappeared, and the arrow hit the wall of the castle. The force of the arrow shook the whole castle, and soon guards rushed towards the elf girl.

"Princess, are you already here? We heard a loud explosion." 

The elf girl, who is the princess of the country, breathed heavily and soon collapsed and lost consciousness.

The knights searched the room and found an arrow with an insignia of a hunter on the feather of the arrow, and the knight immediately sent a mage to capture the culprit who shot the arrow.

The hunter couldn't see what was going on, but the fairy used magic to observe what was going on in the castle and advised the hunter to escape.

"Hey human "I'll leave you now, but you have to run because there's a little accident." 

The fairy said 

The humans ignore the fairy, pick up the wild boar, and continue to walk home.

"Wait for that bow "I swear I saw it somewhere." 

The fairy stopped and focused on the bow that the hunter was carrying.

"Ahh, this bow is given to me by my mentor, who is an elf. She teaches me how to handle a bow and how to imbue magic into the strings to increase its power." 

The hunter said 

As soon as the hunter finished talking, a magic circle appeared from her foot, and lightning was generated and hit him, knocking him unconscious.

A few hours had passed and the hunter was chained underneath the dungeon of the castle. A man wearing purple robes and holding a magic staff was seen performing advance magic, with multiple magic circles appearing on the hunter's body.

"Let's start, shall we?" 

The elf wearing the purple robes spoke as he sat on a chair with his staff in his hands.

"This spell you see will tear anything it touches if they are lying, so lying won't help you, so why did you shoot the princess?" 

The magic circles concentrated on her right arm.

"I was asked to shoot at the specific location." 

The hunter said

"Who ordered you to shoot?" 

The elf in purple robes yelled 

"Fairy, I guess." 

"Lies, no fairy would appear from a human." 

"Your magic should kill me right now if I lie right, so am I lying?" 

The hunter said 

The elf in purple robes shouted 

"Are you saying my spells don't work? "Torture this man and extract the information we need." 

The elf in the purple robe ordered the knights behind him, and soon the knights start to punch and kick the hunter all over his body. Day and night, the hunter is being tortured, but the hunter always says the same thing:

"The fairy ordered me, and I bear no malicious intent toward this kingdom." 

One night, when knights leave the cell where the hunter is locked up, the cell door opens, and what awaits the hunter is the elf princess carrying a basket of food and a bottle of wine while hiding her identity with a dark cloth above her head.

"What's your name, human?" 

The princess asked 

"Nearl "I don't know who you are, but you better not help me or you'll be deemed my companion and you'll be tortured too." 

Nearl warned the princess as he vomited blood.

"Here is some food, and soon tomorrow all this would be ending, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me from certain death." 

The princess immediately packed the things she brought, gets out of the dungeon cell, and proceeds to walk upstairs.
