Chapter 32 – Strange Intrusion

“I found out about the most famous bar here.”

Whether he knew or not how Emilia felt, he started walking, taking the lead.

“Find the ‘Elver’. They are having a special event there today. They are giving free drinks to first-time guests, so let’s go.”

The two started walking around every corner of the alley.

A few minutes later, they reached their destination. On the wooden signboard in front of the entrance, the word ‘Elver’ was written.

They carefully went down the narrow stairs. Contrary to its shabby exterior, the inside was splendid and noisy.
It was as spacious as the ballroom of most noble private houses, and the loud music automatically made the mood exciting. On one side, people were dancing. Laughter was heard non-stop.

“Are you really… Going inside?!”

Emilia almost had to scream. Hadius jumped inside without hesitation.

After looking around a few times, Hadius went straight to order a beer. The bar owner, who was as tough-looking as Mr. Beppy, glanced at Hadius up and down for a moment, and then put on a reticent expression. Emilia was terrified that they might get into an argument.

When Hadius said something to him, the owner suddenly burst into laughter. The owner then turned around and filled the glass with alcohol. Hadius, who had succeeded in getting a drink, returned to Emilia immediately.

Two glasses were placed on the table. One of them had dried petals floating on it.
Yellow petals floating in a pond of black beer.

Emilia was speechless for a moment.

“What on earth did you tell him?”

Hadius shrugged his shoulders without answering and gulped down the glass he was holding. Emilia’s gaze couldn’t leave his throat as he swallowed the beer. Strangely, she felt sick in her stomach.

“I… This is my first time drinking.”
“It’s alright, I will take you home safely even if you’re a wreck from being drunk.”
“I see the Young Master drinks often?”
“Not often.”

A dimple appeared on one of Hadius’ cheeks.
She felt anxious and suffocating. Unlike her, who was restless, he didn’t look too bothered.

Emilia used all her strength in order to calm down. Meanwhile, Hadius bought another glass of beer.

“Is it alright to drink like that? I think it will be very intoxicating…”

Emilia looked anxiously at her glass, which she had yet to take a sip.

“Don’t worry. I’m not going to get drunk and be carried on your back.”

Hadius smiled mischievously and gently shook the glass of beer, which only had the foam remaining.

It’s really weird. Why is she like this…?
Emilia frowned and pressed her hand on her stomach, which was constantly feeling nauseous.

“Are you sick?”
“N-No.”

The blue eyes, which had been avoiding the man’s gaze, turned to the beer again.

Ah, whatever. She grabbed the heavy drink with both hands and brought it to her mouth. Gulp, she only took a sip and said, “Yuck.”, with her face contorted.

“It’s too bitter.”
“That’s disappointing. Look over there.”

There was a woman where Hadius was pointing. The woman, whose cleavage was exposed, put down the beer glass she had just emptied and reached out to get another one.

The next moment, Emilia’s eyes widened. Although she was expecting it, the woman drank a really huge amount of beer in an instant, without taking a break. Cheers were heard from all over the place.

“A little different from someone.”

Hadius teased.

Emilia’s hands tightened, and the fire was ignited again because of the unnecessary arrogance.

She took a deep breath and then ostentatiously brought the glass to her mouth. Then, she started drinking fiercely.

The extremely bitter taste only lasted for a moment. At some point, a refreshing and stinging feeling, as if she were flying, rose to the top of her head.

Although she couldn’t empty it out at once like the woman, Emilia drank that much alcohol over several times. Hadius opened his eyes in surprise.

“Wow!”
“Isn’t she pretty good too?”

She also received a small cheer from the seat next to them.

“Are you alright?”

Hadius suddenly had a worried look in his eyes. Emilia shrugged and said, “Don’t worry. I’m not going to get drunk and be carried on the Young Master’s back.”, imitating his words.

Hadius laughed. His face, which always looked indifferent, made the dizzy Emilia float in the air.

Suddenly, she got playful. Putting her drink down, she turned her head around as if looking for something. Then, in an instant, her eyes lit up.

“Look over there. You must behave like that if you’re really an ordinary man…”

This time there was a man, not a woman. He was a handsome, muscular man.
She didn’t choose him just because he was a good drinker; he was taking his top off, of all things.

While she was even more surprised by the naked body of the stranger, she pretended to be nonchalant and pointed her finger at him.

“A little different from someone.”

Hadius chuckled as if she were pretty good. Still, as if he felt suffocated, he released one of the shirt buttons that were tight around his neck.
Emilia tried not to stare at his open shirt.

“Your preferences are more vulgar than expected.”

He spoke teasingly, putting one arm on the armrest. The eyes of the man, who was leaning on the chair, wandered around Emilia, languidly.

She felt strange for a moment, as if she were naked in front of him. Emilia shrugged and deliberately looked at the muscular man once more.

“You didn’t know?”

The man was no longer drinking. He picked up the woman next to him and led her to the middle of the hall. People were mingled and dancing frantically.

It wasn’t a waltz, it wasn’t a quadrille, it wasn’t anything. It was such a messy dance, where men and women were mixed together and stomped their feet. There, the man took the woman’s hand and started dancing.

Hadius, who had been staring at them for a while, suddenly got up from his seat.

“Don’t forget, you were the one who provoked me.”

He reached his hand out towards Emilia. Emilia grabbed his hand without hesitation. On one hand, there was also a slight surrender mixed in.
What if it is a dream that will vanish in vain? It’s only one day. She doesn’t have the strength to resist anyway…

A place where passion raged without any pretense, the two of them willingly jumped into it.

The dozens of people dancing were already very drunk, and the beat was so fast that they almost had to run.

“It’s too… Fast!”

Even though she was terrified by the bouncing speed, Emilia was carried away and stomped her feet vigorously.

Thump!

With each spur, she flew high into the sky. There was no such thing as anxiety. Because the man’s arm holding her waist was so secure.

The accordion melody reached its climax. Their movements were also getting faster.

She was out of breath. Sweat dripped down. It felt like her heart was going to explode. The man’s eyes looking down at Emilia grew wilder and more passionate.

The music reached its peak. Thump, thump, stomping and cheering, people jumping fiercely. Amid that, Hadius suddenly stopped.

Emilia was startled like a rabbit with its ears caught.
Instinct is like that. It’s something you realize naturally even if no one teaches you.

She didn’t know anything; she didn’t know why he suddenly stopped, or why the man’s eyes were burning like that when looking at her.

Someone tapped Emilia on the back and passed by, as if encouraging the man and woman who had stopped. Their bodies leaned toward the same direction and got close to each other.

Hands and hands, chest and chest, thighs and thighs collided, causing a strange spark. The silver-gray eyes, which were confronting its limits, looked down at her blushing face.

There was no alertness or distrust in their eyes facing each other. Nothing but fiery passion, excitement, and curiosity.

Hadius completely trapped Emilia between his body and the wall. Then, the man’s face slowly descended. Unable to bear it, Emilia turned her head to the side. But the man’s hand grabbed her chin and turned it back towards him.

Contrary to her eyes, avoiding him, her lips were turned right towards him. The clean man’s breath got closer and closer.

“S-Stop…”

It was no use. The man’s lips fell gently, covering her mouth, and started to smoothly draw her in.

A shocking sensation took over Emilia. The lump, which was jolting in her lower abdomen, started burning passionately, trying to swallow her whole body.

The act of only gently biting and licking gradually got deeper. Something slippery broke through her powerlessly open mouth.
The man’s tongue. A strange intrusion that she has never imagined.

The moment he calmly inserted his tongue, Emilia gasped as if she was going to faint. She couldn’t breathe, as if her lungs were filled with water.

Unable to bear it, Emilia tightly closed her eyes. Forgetting the words of refusal, she responded to his tapping.

Hadius was tough and tenacious. Holding the back of her golden head, he ravaged Emilia’s mouth to his heart’s content while adjusting the angle. Their tongues intertwined and their saliva mixed in.

For a long time that felt like an eternity, Emilia was completely torn apart.

When Hadius removed his rummaging tongue, Emilia couldn’t breathe and barely covered her mouth with her hands.

Her legs trembled. Her whole body trembled like an aspen, making it difficult to stand.

Hadius stared intently at her. In a calm and detached manner, without any disturbance.
