Chapter 51 – Messily Have You

Perhaps she lost consciousness.
She struggled to raise her eyelids, but the world was still spinning. Emilia looked around with her eyes barely opened.

Where was she?
Inside a carriage running on a rocky, unpaved road.

Suddenly, her eyes opened. The moment she faced the man looking down, her head felt like it was going to break. Emilia sobbed violently and covered her face with her arms.

“Are you alright?”

The fabric touching her ears became harder and firm. She thought it was a cushion, but it was the man’s thigh. Even amid a dizzy feeling of vomiting, Emilia was startled.

She couldn’t believe she was lying on the man’s lap!
She had to get up quickly, but her body was just drooping like cotton soaked in water.

“Just stay still.”
“I’m… so thirsty…”

As soon as she finished speaking, Emilia lost consciousness. When she opened her eyes again, this time he was holding her in his arms like a baby and giving her water.
A sharp pain was pecking her head badly, which, oddly enough, felt good.

“What are you feeling exactly?”

Emilia had never exaggerated her pain, nor had she ever been cared for by anyone.
However, right now, she just wanted to be pampered like a child for some reason.

“My head hurts a lot…”

As soon as she finished speaking, his hand touched the back of her head. The next moment, as the tight hairpins were released, blood flowed to the top of her head.
Emilia let out a rough breath.
But the refreshing sense of freedom was just too short. The smile that had slowly appeared faded away in an instant as the pain returned again.

“… Why does it hurt so much?”
“It’s a hangover.”
“Ah…”

As Emilia sighed, Hadius suddenly put a hand on her armpit and lifted her upper body. A few unexpected movements followed.
A few seconds later, Emilia was leaning on her back, trapped between the man’s legs.
Head and shoulders, back and chest, and other parts were in promiscuous contact with each other. Though she thought that she should stand up immediately, Emilia found herself drooping like a rag doll once again.

“It will get a little better if I do this.”

Hadius explained stiffly like a doctor and started giving her acupressure in earnest. Emilia tried not to moan whenever the man’s fingers stroked her scalp vigorously.

“What kind of magic… is this…”

“I learned it at school.”

Hadius reached out his arm and opened the window. The cold wind coming from the sea hit her face.
Emilia smiled with her eyes closed, as if she were in a good mood.

It was the kind of face she showed at the ‘Elver’.

Once again, alcohol is the reason for this extreme change. The drunk Emilia was giving him a lot of what he wanted.

Believe in him, depend on him and smile in front of him.
The woman who seemed to never be swayed is shaken by this kind of alcohol.
The woman, who leaned on him completely without any doubts or boundaries, was enough to tickle the depths of his heart.

However, the effects of alcohol were one-off. Hadius wanted this moment to last as long as eternity.

“Did you know? Charlotte is a sorceress. For real.”

With her eyes closed, she looked like she was dreaming.

“I didn’t know the Young Master could also use magic.”

Her long eyelashes trembled and she showed an unusual eye smile.
His heart pounded once more, and a strange feeling of discomfort rose to his throat.

He always thought she was too pretty. Every time he saw her, it made him upset and annoyed.

His gaze stayed on her reddish cheeks and delicate sculpture-like nose for a moment. Then, it moved to her lips.

Can he call them a masterpiece?

Hadius couldn’t take his eyes off her perfect lips.
The sadistic imagination of biting a ripe peach and greedily licking its moist juice filled his head.

It’s always been like that. From the day of their engagement ceremony to this moment, Hadius was plagued with all sorts of contradictory longings whenever he thought of his fiancée.

He liked her and hated her.
He wanted to have her and wanted to leave her.
He wanted to protect her and wanted to destroy her.

Emilia had suddenly turned cold again, unaware of the tumultuousness raging inside him.

“However, it’s black magic. It leads us all to ruin. In the end, we will both be unhappy. Like the camellia maiden. I will never live like that… Never…”

At that moment, the carriage shook with a rattling noise. Unintentional contacts were made in the areas that were touching each other. Hadius managed to swallow the swear words.

“… Get up. If you’re alright.”

If it were like other times, she would have jumped up before she even heard those words.
However, Emilia showed an unbelievable reaction this time as well. As soon as he pulled out his hands, she was pitifully on the verge of tears.

“More… A bit more please…”

Hadius pressed his fingers deeply again. The curly soft hair evoked an insolent imagination.

How would her skin feel?
Would it be cold like her stubborn personality? Or hot as fire?

Having never touched or wondered about a woman’s intimate skin before, Hadius slowly imagined it and got agitated without hesitation.

The innocent Emilia, who knows nothing, exhaled a satisfying breath and rolled up her body like a cat.

“The great Young Master is good at everything. You can dance well, you can play the piano well, and you’re at things like this too.”

She suddenly looked up at Hadius with dreamy eyes.

“Did you know? You are the most handsome man I have ever seen.”

In a suffocating silence, Hadius had to press his lips together and resist childishly asking whether he was comparable to Nathan Malvin.

“You dress really well too. The time when the Young Master shines the most is when you are wearing the uniform of the military academy. The white uniform, embroidered with gold thread.”

The man’s heart beat disorderly in front of the bright smile.

“What kind of woman would refuse such a perfect man?”

His fingers, engulfed in the golden waves, were unable to move.

“Nevertheless, I gave you up. I dared to abandon the heir of the Meyer family.”

Emilia, who had been muttering languidly, suddenly changed.

“The Young Master knows only himself. You pretend there’s something great, but in reality, there’s nothing. You have a great talent for confusing people. I don’t like that Young Master. I really hate it…”

Suddenly, a painful moan escaped her mouth, which was spitting out spiteful remarks. Biting her lip, she had a face that looked like she was about to burst into tears.

“You know what I hate more? Me. The fickle, stupid, and weak me.”

Her tongue, unable to hold it anymore, began to spit out whatever it wanted.

“The reality is harsh. The world is full of people like Shayla. I will have to fight again. I have to be strong and confident Emilia and break down the walls of the world. But why? Why should I do that?”

Emilia looked up at Hadius as if pleading.

“What about the Young Master? Are you going to locate people like Shayla, dig into them, handle them, and trample on them again for my sake? Do you want me to be satisfied with that? While being in a strange delusion?”
“…”
“No, I can’t do that. Even though I don’t know what the Young Master wants from me… I don’t want to. I don’t even like you that much… I don’t like you enough to fight against the world.”

The moment a small hand grabbed his shirt as if asking for an answer, Hadius realized it.

That’s right.
No matter what he does, she will never change.
She has already decided on the answer, and she doesn’t give room for any gaps.

“I know.”

Only then did his mouth, which had been silent, open.

“As long as you stay by my side, you will continue to be criticized. You may have to stay hidden for a while.”

Answering her like that, Hadius’ eyes went beyond indifference and were insincere.
Emilia exploded in that instant.

“If you know that… How could you do this?!”

Emilia shouted like a thunderbolt, pushing her chest out with her arms and trying to get herself up.
However, he turned Emilia’s arm, rendering it powerless.

“I really hate the Young Master! You’re detestable!”
“It doesn’t matter, Emilia. Do you know why?”

The somber voice didn’t falter at all, like a rock wall facing the waves.

“I will become Duke Meyer. I must.”

A strong wind hit her face through the open window, but Emilia couldn’t feel anything.

“You have a family to return to. But Duke Meyer has nothing. There will be nothing I can really call mine. Don’t you think I should leave behind at least one thing?”

Hadius grabbed the hand that was letting go of his shirt tightly, as if plundering it.

“I should have at least one.”

The man’s eyes, clouded by desire, wandered frantically over her lips, which were open as if inviting him.

“So, answer me. Why can’t I have you right now.”

The shock was brief.
A low, hoarse whisper made Emilia’s whole body tremble.

“Why can’t I be messy and just have you here?”

Have her? Be messy?

In Emilia’s confused eyes, there was a man shaking dangerously.

However, there was no hint of remorse or hesitation in the face looking down at an angle.

“Do you think that jerk is the only one who gets excited just by looking at you?”

His face, engulfed in lust, grew closer and closer. And without hesitation, their lips pressed together.

He didn’t know whether she wasn’t resisting or if she couldn’t resist.
But the woman who resigned without fighting drove the man to extreme excitement.

Hadius moved greedily in search of a deeper stimulus. He couldn’t put his tongue in as deep as he wanted as he was behind her, in a hugging position, so he raised her upper body upright.

Emilia leaned against the cramped carriage wall and accepted the man.

Every time his tongue invaded her and got out, all she could do was try not to lose consciousness.

Putting an end to the sticky act of mixing saliva, Hadius looked into Emilia’s eyes, which looked hazily intoxicated.

“I’ve hated you for a long time. I hated you terribly, really. Do you know why? Because I couldn’t restrain myself after meeting you.”

Whispering coldly, Hadius reached out his hand towards her tiny ear.
Emilia almost shrieked as he bit her earlobe, and hot breath poured down the back of her ear and the nape of her neck.

“Stop…!”

Shrinking her body, she trembled and stiffened.

“S…”

No more words came out. Emilia didn’t say anything, as if she was really under a curse, and only let out a muffled moan.

His tongue licked along the edge of her ears and glided down smoothly.
The moment it finally reached the long, white nape of her neck, she was bitten and sucked once more.

She was suffocated with fear. The man who behaved bizarrely and her body that lost its will, everything was terrifying.

“I did everything I could to be alone with you. To tear the crying and begging you apart like this.”

The man’s hand crossed the line without hesitation.
The buttons that tightened her chest were released in an instant, and parts that were rarely exposed, starting with her collarbone, met the cold air one after another.

“I did it my way, very messily.”

Shocked, Emilia tried to gather the dress that flowed down helplessly. But he was much faster. Hadius bent both Emilia’s wrists behind her waist and slowly appreciated her pale skin, which was gradually getting exposed. Then he lowered one of his hands and tightly grabbed her on one side. Blood rushed to the top.

“Ah!”

Emilia shrieked and froze. Hadius slowly lowered his head.
The approaching direction and angle were neither her lips nor earlobes.
