Chapter 66 – Ironic Peace
Content Advisory – This chapter can be quite sensitive for some readers. Please read it with caution.
Lips touching. Tongues intertwined and saliva mixed. The action was not harsh at all. Nevertheless, Emilia faltered and stepped back due to the overwhelming momentum. Something touched her staggering legs. It was the bed. The moment they reached their destination, a large hand firmly supported the small of her back and pressed her down.
Her knees were bent and her upper body was tilted, and the woman’s body was completely enveloped on the soft mattress. Hadius straddled her and immediately started unbuttoning his shirt.
One, two…
He couldn’t even finish half of it, but suddenly, as if he couldn’t stand it anymore, he bent down. Another tenacious kiss followed. He ravaged her mouth and too easily overpowered her slender arms trying to cover her body.
Flesh was exposed through the open front of her neckline. He tenaciously bit and sucked her creamy soft flesh. On the white sheet, in front of the woman who was becoming his, Hadius felt dizzy.
She didn’t even know. Actually, she wasn’t the only one who was ignorant of this behavior. The only thing he knew a bit more than her were the small fragments of the obscene gossip his roommate was languidly spewing on the night he returned to his room after extreme training at the Academy.
Even after years of completely filling everything with his plots and webs, nothing had prepared him for this moment.
“Will it hurt you?”
Whether it was a concern or a question, the short words echoed in the air. Emilia’s tightly closed eyes widened.
“…Hypocrite.”
Emilia whispered stubbornly as she turned her head to the side.
“It doesn’t matter if it hurts enough to die, just keep your promise… you will never do any harm… My family… You will never touch them…!”
The hiss that came out like a scream was shaky, but it contained a determined will. That displeased Hadius greatly.
“Don’t worry, just spread them.”
The man’s knees penetrated roughly between her tightly closed thighs.
“Ah…!”
Emilia’s body, which had been rigid, couldn’t withstand the force and soon drooped in resignation.
A moment of surrender.
The man’s hand shredded her dress roughly. Her thin undergarments could not protect the white skin and other soft-colored areas. Hadius pulled off the last armor at once as if to thwart any escape.
In a few simple movements, Emilia was completely naked. She automatically closed her eyes. All she could do was submerge herself into the gloom of darkness.
She had to forget. She had to throw away everything, including the strange sensation created by the man’s tongue and lips; her body losing its will.
“Open your eyes.”
The large hand grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn forward.
“We made a deal.”
Words that awakened her to reality squashed any will to resist. Emilia lifted her eyelids with difficulty and stared numbly ahead. On top of her, a man posed like a conqueror.
He untied the cuffs of his shirt sleeves as he looked down at her coldly. She couldn’t breathe.
“Don’t forget. You came first, it wasn’t me.”
The next moment, something unthinkable happened. Hadius suddenly grabbed her ankles and spread them wide to both sides. Emilia, in shock and forgetting of any deal, began to struggle desperately. She tried her best to push him out somehow but to no avail. As if Hadius was driving a wedge, her legs were firmly fixed with his knees.
The soft flesh inside her secret place opened and slowly met the cold air. Her upper body was lying against the mattress, but her lower body was exposed helplessly in a shameful position. His eyes, engulfed in lust, without hesitation skimmed up and down over the completely unprotected woman’s body. Then he grabbed the elbows of both arms covering her chest and forcibly pulled them up.
“Let go!”
Emilia screamed and struggled. She tried hard to push away the assaulting body with her free legs, but the man’s power was so overwhelming that her efforts had no effect. Hadius pressed down both floundering legs again with his knees. Emilia, her body restrained, was shaking her back like crazy.
“Have you forgotten? What brought you here?”
Whispering cruelly, he slowly lowered his face. And in the next moment, Emilia fell into shock once more. Things that should never be touched collided with places that should never be seen. The man occupied the woman’s all and entered her. A hot tongue continued the unsightly, dirty, and unspeakable act.
“Stop it. please…!”
Emilia pleaded. She felt like she was going to be sick because of the tongue that kept digging and the peculiar sensation it gave off. Saliva and bodily fluids were mixed wantonly. And gradually, she came to understand that the previous shock was dull to the point she couldn’t feel anything.
Hadius sucked and licked for too long, it felt like an eternity, and instead of nausea, strange sensations began to sweep her body. Her whole body was covered with a peculiar agony, making the lower part of her abdomen feel tight.
Haaa…
Emilia let out a rough breath and helplessly endured everything he was doing.

Ten minutes? Twenty minutes? After an incalculable amount of time had elapsed, Hadius raised his head when her bottom felt like a ball of fire. Saliva wasn’t the only thing glistening on the man’s lips. Even though she didn’t know exactly what it was, Emilia couldn’t stand it.
“Just do it! You said you’d climb up like a pig!”
As if laughing at the roaring words, Hadius wiped out his mouth with his finger. Then, he put a tight force on the grip enclosing her wrist.
Blood rushed.
While she was distracted by the almost painful sensation, the man’s lips went backward in search of her lips again. Wherever the tongue passed, red welts sprouted.
‘What is this? Is this the human act that my father spoke of? No, it isn’t.’ Emilia clenched her jaw with all her might. Trying to subdue her completely, Hadius wormed his tongue through her tightly closed teeth.
“Open it.”
She stubbornly shut her mouth, but to no avail.
“Do you want me to open another place?”
Emilia had no choice but to capitulate to the mean and lewd whispers. A deep kiss followed. It was a kiss so long that it might have felt sweet under more equal circumstances. The sobbing woman was completely engulfed in the saliva the man had spilled like a drug.
‘Maybe I’m going crazy.’
The moment Emilia thought helplessly, a buckle was loosened and a hissing sound was heard. Realizing what he was doing, her blue eyes closed tight again. Both legs, which had been spread out helplessly, were forced apart even wider. Something hard touched the area loosened by saliva. For a moment, she was terribly surprised by the strange feeling of something foreign, but her body slowly opened to him. Feeling him pushing his tongue in was nothing. At the endless and shocking invasion, her mind just went blank.
“Ah!”
After a moment, she felt burning pain. Emilia puffed her cheeks, holding back the cries that were about to burst out. A fishy taste and body smell filled her senses.
“Damn it…”
Hadius, who felt as if it was crushing his brain, held his breath for a moment. Oddly, he also looked in pain. The breath that touched her collarbone was also infinitely rough like a flying beast.
Quite a long time had passed, fully entangled like a cogwheel. The pain of friction gradually subsided, leaving only the uncomfortable feeling of something foreign inside her. For a while, Hadius was frozen. Then the movement started. A huge wave came rushing through Emilia’s body and then slowly swept away again. The man continued his entry and retreat as smoothly as a well-oiled machine. At the same time, she felt like losing it.
She’d rather lose her mind. But for Emilia, everything was so vivid and clear. Lips biting the nape of her neck as if trying to rip it off, harsh breaths exploding, and her lower body being beaten over and over as if she were being split in two. That was the behavior of the beast that Emilia had envisioned.
As if to deliver the final blow in an instant, he entered unbelievably deep. A terrifying growl tore the man’s throat and poured out. Subsequently, intense senses penetrated her whole body. And she broke into pieces.
* * *
‘Does it hurt?’ Hadius barely swallowed the hypocritical question and raised his upper body. Disheveled hair, splayed legs, and a mess of a woman. Blood and bodily fluids were entangled all over the sheet, not to mention the pure white thighs, creating dizzying stains.
He slowly engraved the cruel sight into his eyes, suppressing his overwhelming emotions with rough breathing. Emilia hurriedly hid under the blanket with a face that looked as if she was about to cry.
Just as a rising river broke the dam, Hadius had a hard time waking up from the unfamiliar emotions pouring in. While swiping his hair back roughly, he found the cufflink that he had not been able to untie before.
Was it just the shirt? He couldn’t even take his pants off. Only a small fraction of what he exposed.
Unlike his troubled head, his heart was pounding nastily.
‘Now it’s mine. Completely mine that no one can touch.’ Hadius exhaled a long breath to control the satisfaction that filled him to the core. Then he carefully pulled the trembling woman toward him. He thought she would run away. But for some reason, she let herself be embraced. It wasn’t an affectionate response at all. It was just the perfect resignation and indifference of the broken. Still, Hadius was relieved. He wanted to convey this strange tranquility and satisfaction somehow.
“I swear. I’ll never harm Mitch Bern or your family. I will risk my life to protect them. I mean it.”
Even with a determined promise, the cold, hardened body didn’t loosen. Hadius seemed to peer through all the worries and anxieties that could burn her heart.
“You might want to keep everything a secret. Laura Dilson’s house is nearby, and the kid works in the vineyard. Tell your family that you got a job there. I’ll make up all the appropriate excuses on my own.”
Emilia’s body hardened in shock. He knew just how terrifying that kind of meticulousness was for her.
But he couldn’t help it. Hadius had to throw away too much and plan a lot to get this villa and a month’s period. For the time being, he wanted to hold her in his arms without any worries.
“Sleep if you are tired.”
Hadius pressed his chest against the trembling, small, thin back. He tucked an arm under her ear to support her head. Not knowing where to put it, he slowly wrapped his other hand around her belly. The two lay folded together like blood encrusted spoons, not saying anything for a long time.
It was an ironic quiet that came after a brutal assault.

I’m sorry. I don’t like the romanticization of r*pe. I feel it was poor in terms of translation (any improvement is thanks to the great Tea) because I felt uncomfortable through the whole process. Love Doesn’t Matter is a story that makes me feel sad all the time lol
Ed: Not fond of victim blaming, either. This vile privileged a-hole devises all these plans to harm and trap the woman in a society where women are already treated poorly, then blames her for finally giving up the fight for her dignity. He has been r*ping her all along, and now he conflates assault with s*x. Just go pull wings off flies, coward.
