Chapter 78 – Let His Shoulders Get Wet

Rumble. The thunder shook the earth and rain poured down onto the pavilion. There was no way to know if her eyes were turning white because of the lightning or the rough hand that seemed to strangle her, but one thing was for sure – she saw the man forcing her to a gift and thought that she might want it. She immediately denied it as soon as she thought of that possibility.

Afraid. Suffocated. Even if she was a child and imagined looking up at him like a star, it was something that she never dared envision, never could, and shouldn’t happen. The name Meyer was deadly enough to sweep away all her emotions. She couldn’t bear it now, nor would she want to bear it.

“Almost everything could be seen in this place.”

Hadius grabbed Emilia’s hand and pressed it against his chest. The heart of the man wildly thumping under his hard muscles made Emilia shudder.

“But you never looked at me – never once. Isn’t that cruel enough?”

Emilia was dizzy. She was out of breath, and she felt like her heart was about to explode.

“You think I am stupid? Now, what do you think will change with a good wrapping? The last thing I wouldn’t want to hear in the world is to be a Duchess. Not to anyone else, but from a man who turned away from me, threatened me, and ruined me!”

Rumble, rumble! The thunder coming from the mountain once again split the sky. Emilia’s heart beat even more violently.

“You’re the most cowardly person I’ve ever seen! Now, what? Duchess?! I am being cruel?! Try and say something. You think I will be shaken? I feel like going to His Majesty the King now to beg him to break this engagement and expose everything the Young Master did to me.”

Emilia was screaming at him as her whole body trembled.

“The end has already been decided. To break our engagement and live our own lives.”

“No, it’s too late for that, Emilia.”

Hadius loosened the grip that was strangling her as if to break her. He gently stroked the back of her neck as if to soothe her for the pain he had caused.

“Stop… stop it….”

Instead of answering, Hadius strongly pulled her by her waist. Emilia struggled. Unwilling to allow her to struggle, the man overpowered her limbs easily. The body pushing away the man hit the pillar as a result.

Hadius pressed against her as if he had been waiting to do so. Emilia was helpless again while trapped by the man’s body in the pillar.

“I will take every opportunity. There is no reason not to be now.”

He grabbed Emilia’s wrist and restrained her abdomen. He then bent down. After lightly licking her lips, he let her catch her breath and then started licking again.

“Open it, Emilia.” Hadius whispered to her lips closed like a seashell. “Don’t let me offend you.”

Crazy b*st*rd. He’s sure that was what she wanted to say, but the body doesn’t listen.

Emilia felt the man’s lips crashing on her repeatedly with the vague boundaries of neither refusal nor permission. He bit her then let go; he tenaciously sucked on her then released again…. The shorter but more intense contact, the more her head was emptied and her blood dried.

She was reminded of Reina’s comments. This was completely different from a noble platonic love. There was something completely outside logic and reason that had nothing to do with caring for and loving myself more.

Does this man think that this is enough to make her the Duchess? Emilia raised her head and looked straight at him. Hadius was looking at her with his usual cold gaze. Another rage soared again from the bottom of her heart.

“What Young Master said… that’s impossible…. Never… I don’t want it. Nothing would change with this.”

“Yeah, nothing will change.”

“You knew, so why are you like this?!”

The man gripped her wrist tightly and began to rub the tender flesh inside. The sensation of the small and light touch was unbearably strange. Emilia tried to drive away the hot feeling with the fading strength in her legs.

“The more you act like this… the more I will hate you. I will hate you forever, and only a blank spot will remain.”

“I do not care.”

Hadius pressed his lips to the white nape of her neck.

“Give me, even the wrapper.”

“That’s really wicked… and dirty….”

Rolling her head while trying to show a vicious expression, Emilia was speechless for a moment. She felt shamed about herself. How can words and actions be so different? Even that man can see right through it – so easily allowed, so degrading, so hopelessly defeating me.

“… You will regret it.”

Even if she belittled him and threatened him, the man wouldn’t budge at all. The lips touching her nape began to gently suck and lick, drawing a twisted arc. Emilia melted away again in an instant. Even though she was doing her best to fight it with all her might, the pleasure quickly heated her blood and took away her will to fight.

“You’re crazy.”

“Yeah, I know. I know I can’t, but I can’t control it.”

Working down from her neck, Hadius knelt and pulled up her skirt. Emilia closed her eyes. The sound of the rain was still in rhythm while the man was unexpectedly tender. He swallowed everything – morals, common sense, and even the last remaining will and thoughts of filth. She could only hope that the pouring rain would conceal all these atrocities.

The flame in her abdomen swarmed into a huge ball of fire as if it would engulf her whole body. He suddenly rose at that moment of crisis that something was about to pour out. He then lowered his hand.

Emilia shrieked and dug her nails into his shoulders. She would rather have him move like a machine like he did in the barn. The soft and slow going and coming brought Emilia down thoroughly. Black hair tickling the temples, a man shrouded with desire, the green forest, and the sound of thunder that splits the sky – all of it was beautiful.

“Ah!”

With her head tilted back, Emilia forgot everything. Hadius finally gave her permission after the intense climax came without a break, and she felt worn out. He put his arm around the back of the trembling woman’s knee and lifted her. Just before he started his assault and without delay, he grabbed her limp hand and made it rest on his shoulder. Emilia instinctively raised her nails. He ripped his shirt off as she dug into his solid muscles.

“Yeah, if it hurts like that….”

Without completing his thought, Hadius violated the woman at once. Emilia couldn’t bear it and dug her nails into him once again. She thought that was enough to stop him, but Hadius made her unable to keep her promise to herself from just a few seconds ago.

“D**n it, Emilia….”

He pounded and pounded on her small body by the pole, and the golden thread was mercilessly disturbed.

“Why are you… so ruthless… to me… to go this far….”

Moving slowly, Hadius was dissatisfied for a moment and turned wild. He rammed more and more vigorously as if he would break her small body in two, and then the lightning struck in an instant. Hadius was shattered. He dug his teeth in the scruff of her white neck and poured everything inside the woman.

It was the sound of the rain that awakened their consciousness. The dark sky occasionally hurled thunder and lightning while the rain poured nonstop.

Hadius took out his handkerchief and wiped them clean. Emilia’s dress, as well as his clothes, was perfectly groomed. He gathered her disheveled hair and put flowers behind her ears, then she looked exactly the same as when she first arrived.

Emilia closed her eyes and kept silent while he busied himself cleaning the traces of a tense skirmish. Her pale face, indeed, looked like an empty shell.

[‘You will regret it.’]

The harsh words were belatedly heartbreaking. Forgetting the promise to not let herself get hurt but rushed to her roughly… it didn’t matter. Hadius swallowed her words, which had become quite a habit, and squeezed her slender, trembling shoulder.

Her soft hair tickled his chin and touched the side. How can you be sweet even at this moment? With their bodies close to each other, he opened the umbrella with his other hand. A small shadow hung over their heads.

He walked diligently toward the villa. A realization came after a moment as the sound of rain poured over their heads. The reason why his heart had yet to calm down wasn’t because he had reached climax – maybe because I am afraid, is what he thought to himself quietly.

“I will put the food and water here, and also under the fountain just in case.”

Pip dared not look back to his Young Master and put the bowl into an empty space under the pavilion.

“I will come and change both the food and water when I have time, so you don’t have to worry.”

Charlotte was the only one who nodded at Pip’s words. The Young Master and the woman were looking in completely different directions and completely speechless.

“Thank you so much for your generous forgiveness.”

Pip glanced at Charlotte as he said so. The hideous nodules that occupied half of her face, and her small eye socket like a buttonhole, he could not get used to it no matter how he looked at her. He got goosebumps as if he had seen a centipede. Nevertheless, Pip felt like he would be able to withstand fire and kiss that one-eye. Thanks to that child, he was able to avoid his Young Master’s wrath and all the commotion was calmed down.

“You can come and play anytime. Even if I can’t tame it, it will grow attached if I take care of it. Then at the very least, it won’t run away.”

“… Yes….”

The child nodded her head eagerly. And yet, her gaze was fixed on the dark face of her sister beside her.

“Let’s go, Charlotte.”

The short-haired woman grabbed the child’s hand.

Pip’s eyes unknowingly turned to the table. The food had gone cold a long time ago, and no one had ever touched it. Pip had been expecting to a certain extent when he saw his Young Master and the woman come back empty-handed. No matter how blind that one-eyed child was, it was impossible that she wasn’t feeling the unusual atmosphere between the two of them.

The two entered the house side by side, each armed with achromatic colors. Pip was overwhelmed with the strangeness coming from both of them. His eyes were all over his Young Master’s shoulders when he ran a beat late and brought them an umbrella. The man let his shoulders get wet as he put an umbrella over him and the woman, and the woman wasn’t smiling at all.

What will happen to their relationship? Young Master will meet with Lady Reinen soon, is there any countermeasure?
