Xander moved to his table and opened the laptop on it. After typing on it and getting things in order, he looked up at Jade then spoke.
"We found this recently. We had to use all that we are to get this and by that, I mean sending them to Moon Crest in their natural form to get this."
"Natural form?"
Yes, this was when it occurred to Xander that she still had absolutely no idea of what he was and some terminologies.
Of course her friend, Macy, already had a firm grip but Jade, on the other hand, found out at the wrong time. And even when she did, who or what he was wasn't of priority to her.
All that mattered most at that moment was making sure she got her revenge.
"Umm, a dragon's natural form is like being a human with wings and horn, nothing much but that is on the lighter note."
Even with the explanation, Jade still looked a bit confused to him. Unknown to him, she was just trying to picture him with horns.
'He'd make a cute dragon lord. I bet… wait, is the dragon portrait I saw him? Oh my goodness!' Jade exclaimed inwardly with wide eyes.
Unfortunately, Xander was in another dimension of his explanation. "Perhaps this is not the right time for such explanations Jade. I just want you to listen to this audio."
"Alright." At her agreement, he tapped on the enter button and then moved back.
"Father…"
The moment she heard the voice, she knew for a fact who it belonged to and whose conversation that was.
"Oh my God! Zale."
"Yes, father. This has been my project all these months. Do you like it?"
"Like it? I love it. You have indeed outdone yourself son."
"Thank you, father. Please, step forward and see the plans for yourself." Jade and Xander listened on carefully.
"I had my men get all that I needed and information for me and I began to form my own plan and mark out their movements right here. These all have the pictures and whereabouts of Xander in the last month."
Jade did not say anything but watched Xander from the corner of her eyes.
"Hmm."
"And here, this one is for the bitch that must go down for us to rise. She had the nerve of showing the world that she was still alive by calling for a meeting for the Frost gang."
Her lips curved upwards into a triumphant smile as she listened on. Yes, she loved the fact that even when she was not doing anything much, she still managed to cause trouble and sleepless nights for people.
"Yes, about that," Zain chipped in. "I sent a few of our men to check it out but the way and manner she had her security and eyes all very the place, made it impossible to get anything from there."
"Oh, relax father. I have made sure I got one of our persons inside as a spy."
"Ohhh…" That was all Jade said and she began to nod her head.
"I have to do what I need to do to get things done. I plan on covering all form of loopholes from henceforth. Besides, it was just this way we could get some intel on the deadly iceberg and come up with our previous plan."
"Yeah. Just that with the death of the frost family, it almost felt like there was nothing more anyone could do about it when she went into hiding but now…"
"Now, we start again. We start afresh and this time, we take them down completely and reign over Moon Crest."
"I like that, son. Keep it up."
PONG!
Xander hit the pause button and looked over to Jade who had nothing but smiles on her face. "You see. I am sorry but even now, he still plays everyone and is doing what he can to stop us. He now has a spy amongst your people."
"Yeah." She shrugged, not bothered one bit by the information.
Xander's eyes dimmed at her. He did not understand why she did not look bothered, so he decided to find out. "You aren't bothered?"
"I am not," Jade stated firmly.
"Why if I may ask?"
"Because I need someone to feed them Intel, wrong Intel if I must say. Besides, his useless employer does not know that I already caught him on the first day he infiltrated," Jade revealed.
"Wow!" To say he was speechless was an understatement.
"I know my people and my people know me," she added before turning around to take her leave.
"Where are you going?" Xander called out from behind her before he proceeded to shut down the laptop.
"Isn't it obvious?" Jade asked turning around again but Xander never said anything. Rather he stared at her, waiting for an explanation. "Sigh, I know the real enemy now. He used you and still plans on using me. If there is anything I hate more in this world, that would be to be used by someone. Knowing that, there would be no way I would let him go scot-free."
"Fine. I won't stop you."
"Why would you? You do not have time on your side as well," Jade reminded him.
Xander stretched his right hand at her but did not say anything when she continued. "Or have you forgotten that he has you marked and is waiting to attack you?"
"I…"
"Do not worry, Xan. I can take care of myself by myself."
"I know you can. I am not worried but I just have a suggestion."
"Okay, pitch, I am all ears."
"Thank you." He took in a deep breath and made his way to where she stood, only stopping when he was two foot away from him. "I want us to fight him together. I want a joined or combined force. Together we stand, divided we fall."
