As soon as Xander finished speaking, Sky and Jay's eyes shot open as they voiced their shock.
This was Xander, the almighty rich king, the big shark above all others, wanting to venture into where the small sharks fought for crumbs.
"I heard it has some high side jive going on in there."
"What!"
"I am going. Since I am here, I might as well go and have fun than wasting away here with you two."
Leaving them in shock, he made his way towards the entrance of the party but stopped just when his hands were within reach of the door's handle and turned his head to look at his stunned friends.
"Aren't you coming?"
Just like that, it was as though the spell holding them in place suddenly broke and the next moment they both stood up with a knowing smile on their faces as they proceeded to meet him.

Meanwhile, on the second floor, Jade was still sitting alone waiting for her friend who was by the counter waiting to order their drinks like everyone else.
She hated the queue, she could have used her influence to skip it but she decided not to and just wait like everyone else.
While she was there, a small shark walked over to her and greeted her in the most annoying way he could think of, using a sultry voice.
"Hey baby, how ya doing, sugar?"
Macy eyed him as her eyes raked over him from top to bottom. 'Bloody imbecile! Yikes, just who does he think he is talking to in such a tone?'
The way she looked at him made him feel like he had puke on his body.
"Hey, what's with the look? Never seen a charming guy before?"
"You wish." That was the only words she said and she returned her gaze back to the queue in front of her, completely ignoring the young man.
Meanwhile, Jade kept herself busy with her phone, checking the latest updates on the stock market, and a handsome young man walked up to her with a drink in his hand.
"Hello." His calm voice called out to her, disrupting her from her own mini form of entertainment.
Slowly, Jade lifted her eyes from her phone only to be met with a pair of light blue eyes that shimmered in the darkroom.
"Hi?" Her reply was in the form of a question rather than a pleasant greeting.
She did not bother to give him any go-ahead from her expression as the look on her face displayed no form of emotion.
Like seriously? Are those the only words he knows or did his brain suddenly become too damaged to think of other words?' Jade asked herself in her mind while still wearing her indifferent expression.
"My name is Jackson but my friends call me Jack." He introduced himself, giving her a warm smile that made his facial features more pronounced.
From this angle, she could see how his eyes twinkled when he smiled and his almost perfect nice set of milk white teeth.
His neatly combed blond hair further helped to enhance his facial features and V-shaped face, bringing out his handsomeness.
Jade was sure that his features were what gave him the vibe to feel free and think he could get any girl just by flashing her one of his smiles.
"Okay, Jackson, what can I do for you?"
She deliberately mentioned his full name so he would not get any funny ideas about her being one of his friends.
"I just came to say hello and probably share a drink?" He arched his eyebrows at her as he looked at her hopefully.
"I am sorry. I am with a friend."
Jackson looked at her sides and did not see anyone then gave her a quizzical look as though she was talking about an imaginary friend.
"She went to get us drinks."
"Ohh!"
"Yes."
"But I can keep you company till she arrives." He probed further and that only made Jade a bit angry.
"Umm, my answer remains the same. Sorry, but thanks for the offer. It was nice of you."
"You know, I can interest you with some business deal. I see you are checking the stock market, perhaps…"
"I am sorry. It is just a habit, nothing more. I am not a business lady." Jade quickly cut him off before he could keep talking.
All she wanted was some alone time with her friend to celebrate and no disturbance from these small sharks as Macy called them.
At that same time, Xander and the others walked into the zone of the small sharks and quickly found themselves a nice booth which was quite hidden from everyone and gave them the opportunity to see others.
It was much more different than their high-class club right now as it buzzed with so much life than where they were coming from.
Like predators, their eyes scanned the club, taking in everything in its wake.
