Without uttering a word, Xander swung his right hand to the side and smashed the cup off the tray in the bartender's hand and watched as the glass broke with its content being spilt on the cold tiled floor.
*GLASS SHATTERS*
The sound of the glass shattering could only be heard by them as the music in the background became a lot louder, thus shutting out every noise while the party goers enjoyed themselves.
The bartender was about to protest when the other guy raised his hand to stop him and looked at Xander as though he was looking at his driver.
He looked calm and collected pretending to be an angel, whereas he was the devil incarnate himself. Just when he was about speaking, Jade beat him to it.
Although she was slightly shaken by the glass shattering, it had somehow managed to clear her head a bit and she raised her head to see who it was.
"You!"
Immediately she spoke, Xander turned his head to face her. They were filled with so much coldness in them but he did not say anything to her and took a glance at the guy still sitting beside her.
Without uttering one word, he leaned down and instantly grabbed her drink from her hands, earning a small yell from Jade who the drugs had started taking effect and could barely tell what was happening.
"Hey, that's mine."
Xander felt the need to actually scowl at her but suppressed the urge instead and sniffed her drink, barely bringing it to his nose.
He took the drink away from his face and smashed it against the cold hard tiles. That was all that was needed to break the patience the other guy was having.
At the same time, he and Jade spoke, airing their displeasure.
"How dare you do that?" Jade's voice echoed loudly, earning a few stares and glances their way but Xander ignored her complaint.
"Who are you to come here and break things as you like?" The guy stood up in displeasure. He knew how much he spent just to tip the bartender and this guy was coming to ruin his plans and his night.
It was when the other guy spoke that Xander lifted his head to look at the scoundrel that dared to speak in his presence.
He did not say anything but let the guy take a step forward and then Jay quickly intervened, blocking the guy's path and shoving a heavy punch on his face.
Xander returned his gaze back to Jade. He had no business in laying a finger on him because if he did, he would not hesitate to leave him in a near-death state and that would be too much for Jade.
So he thought, but if only he knew she had seen much worse, then he would have taken the pleasure in dealing nonsense with the guy that drugged his tigress.
"Hey! I am talking to you!" By now Jade was already angry and it had helped in pushing part of the effects of the drugs away as she got up and walked past her table to Xander.
Before she could hit him, he held her hand and pulled her with him, leaving Jay to handle the rest.
By now the scene in the club was another thing entirely, with Jay beating the living daylight out of the guy.
The security men wanted to come and intervene but upon seeing who it was, they bowed their heads and greeted him.
"Master Jay."
He turned to look at them and then returned his attention to the guy who was now totally beaten on the chair and picked him up by his collar.
"Do you know your crimes?"
The guy who knew not what he committed shook his head vigorously.
"You don't obviously. Tsk, you drugged the my boss's girl. The nerve."
A lot of people knew who Jay was. His family was very rich and one of the richest in Star Cross city and for someone like him to have a boss he could obey, the other guy knew he had really messed with the wrong girl that night.
"What is your name?"
"Jerry."
"Umm, Jerry. Remember this well, stay away from that girl."
"Yes sir."
"Good. Throw him out and never let him in this club or any of the three clubs in each floor again."
"Yes, sir."
Jay took a step back, pulled a white handkerchief out of his pocket and cleaned his hand that was stained with Jerry's blood before throwing the handkerchief at him then left.
Before he left the club to look for Xander, he first went towards the other bartender who was about to escape and told someone to hold him.
He really felt like smashing his face as well, but thought that the best thing would be to throw him out with his accomplice.
But his kind gesture went to waste when the lying scum said he did nothing but deliver a drink.
The next thing he knew, Sky sent a kick to his stomach and pulled on his hair before throwing him to the security.
