Both had ignored their company and kissed each other so well, tasting, sucking and loving the mouth of the other as their tongues fought in a well-known dance.
It was such a sweet thing and an adorable one at that. Jade could not help smiling at them. What that simply meant with what they were doing was that Jenny had forgiven him and that was something worth being happy for.
Macy on the other hand had a small smile grace her lips as she stared at what she would have wished for but now, not anymore.
They completely ignored the others and kept on kissing each other passionately till Xander cleared his throat loudly and spoke. "Get a grip of yourself you two. Go get a room and blow your brains out if you must but not in my presence."
Everyone burst into a fit of laughter. That was so typical of the devil king himself. Tsk, naughty…
Jenny smiled sweetly at Sky, no longer was she angry but all that remained was her joy showing through her smile.
"I love you, my jewel."
"I love you too." They pressed their foreheads together as they whispered words of love to the other. After some time, Sky attacked her lips this time and kissed her with more force than before. Jenny responded, not giving him the satisfaction, he craved for to dominate her in the kiss and returned his with every push and passion given.
"And that is where the wrap up comes on. Time to go, girls. When they get like this, they forget we that settled the fight and enjoy themselves," Jay explained, helping Macy and Jade to understand the problem of the two lovers.
"Oh hehee, that's cute," Jade remarked before letting her eyes land on her friend who was watching them as well and her smile dropped.
She had stayed with Macy for the longest time and she knew more than anyone that beneath that cute smile laid the pain of a lifetime but she was doing her best not to show it and be happy for the couple.
It was as if Xander noticed it as well and together both of them walked forward to where Macy was. "Hey."
She peeled her eyes off them and looked at Xander and Jade. She could see the worry in Jade's face and knew her friend was deeply concerned about her.
"Jay, please," Xander said to him without peeling his eyes off Jade's face. He knew she was so worried her friend was hurting but she would not be able to console her.
"Sure."
"Thanks. Quinn let's go."
"But I…"
"I would take care of her. You do not have to worry," Jay quickly chipped in and walked up to where they were standing.
"Are you sure?"
"I would be fine Jade. I am fine in fact. Go and have fun."
"Okay. If you need me just put a call through and I would be by your side."
"Macy smiled sweetly at her before averting her gaze t Xander who looked like a lonely puppy waiting for its owner's love. "Someone is going to feel sad and would be cranky later. Kindly get going.'
Xander smiled at her words and raised a brow at Jade expectantly. "Oh, sorry. Okay bye."
"Guys." They all paused in their tracks and turned around to see that Jenny and Sky had finally broken apart from their kiss and looked at them with slightly flushed faces.
"Thank you very much," Sky appreciated them. He was more than grateful for what they had done and above all, he was happy Jenny forgave him. "Macy, I am sorry. You deserve an apology as well."
"Don't mention it. It is all good."
"Thank you, Macy. Thanks for being a pure and nice soul." Rather than responding to Jenny's words, Macy smiled at them and turned away to leave.
"Do not make her cry again or you are on your own," Jay teased before walking after Macy and went to hold her hand. "Shall we?"
She nodded at him and the pair left with Xander and Jade following behind.
"Thanks, Xander," Jenny and Sky chorused in their minds almost at the same time.
"Be good." That was Xander's response and he pulled Jade closer to his side before stepping out the door together.
By the time they had gotten out of Jenny's house, Xander led Jade away towards the beach. Both walked on in silence, enjoying the company the other gave in silence.
"Hey."
"Hey," Jade replied to him. No one knew what to say but that was not because they did not know but they had so much today and ended up becoming speechless.
"I miss you," Xander confessed, earning him a peal of laughter from Jade. "What, why are you laughing?"
"No, I am not laughing. Hahaha…" She just could not hold it in and let it out laughing at him. She herself did not know why she was laughing as it wasn't funny, but she just found herself laughing nonstop.
Xander was no longer smiling and stopped walking to look at her and make sure she was okay.
"I am sorry. It is just that I am here, by your side and yet you miss me. It sounded cheesy, that's all, like a teenager trying to confess to his crush but doesn't know how to. What exactly do you miss?"
Jade was forced to ask him that question. There were so many things to miss if he was really missing her. It could be her talking or her smile or something.
"All of you." His words had made her speechless and had completely taken her unaware. She was not expecting to say that and before she could register his words further and respond, Xander pulled her closer to him, so they were looking at each other in the eyes.
"Xand…" she did not have the opportunity of finishing her words when he pressed his lips closer to hers, swallowing her words with his lips.
The kiss was not rushed or fast or split. Xander let his lips linger on hers for some time, enjoying the feel of her lips against his own.
After some seconds of kissing her and savouring those lips he craved for all this while, he finally pulled back. Blue eyes staring into brown ones showcasing all the passions caged in the heart through them.
"Xander."
"I want all of you. I miss all of you. Your talks, your sweetness, these lips, your face, your eyes, everything. I miss it all."
She was stunned by his words of proclamation and did not know what had come over him.
One thing was sure, just by watching Jenny and Sky's love, he had wished for something similar or even better than theirs and never in his life had he felt this way for any other girl and it mattered to him that she was the first to have captured his heart like this.
He was happy fighting for her relationship, but he was getting impatient and so was the beast inside of him. He wanted her, every bit of her. To know that she was his and his alone.
Nothing else mattered but the fact that he could have her to himself and wake up to look into her nice eyes he had come to love. To entangle his hands in her hair and kiss her sweetly, pouring all of his love for her into his kiss.
"I know we started off on a wrong foot and my actions back then weren't so good but Quinn, honestly, the way you make me feel, words can't describe it. I want to be with you every day. And even though I am supposed to wait till I can have you, it is hard. You are so close yet so far from me."
Jade did not know what to say. He had her tongue-tied with his confession, earning himself her dashing smile.
"Nevertheless, I would wait for when you are ready to let our friendship blossom to a relationship and you would be mine. Till then I would miss you every single day."
"Okay, thanks." Her heartfelt full and her joy radiated in her whole eyes. She could feel he spoke the truth and that reason alone wanted to make her go crazy with joy.
She had never fallen in love neither had she met anyone like him, but she just wasn't ready for a relationship and she still needed to be careful.
Left with no words to say, she pressed her forehead to his while still flashing her dashing smile at him.
Xander was happy and contented with getting her smiles each day and when she inched her face closer and kissed him, his eyes were left open in shock at her behaviour.
It did not take long though for him to relax and return her kiss as that was what he wanted the most right then.
Jade parted her lips to grant him entrance and she regretted it right after as he targets her tongue ad captured it, kissing her and sucking on it, allowing his tongue to tame her.
Within seconds, her head spun, and she found that she could barely think again as her head felt lightheaded and mushy. His kiss was doing things she could not phantom to her and rather than pull back, she pressed herself and body to his and managed to return the kiss as well.
Caution was thrown to the wind at that moment but none of it mattered to her. He was her joy that moment and the one thing she had been denying herself.
