"You are not alone. You have me. I promise to be here for you and to never leave you. Use my resources and influence in any way you wish to in achieving your goal, but before you pull the trigger, ask yourself one thing."
Jade turned around to look at him as her eyes helped her to ask him the one thing he was talking about.
"Is their blood on your hands really worth it?"
He had a point, but he wasn't the one who lost all and everything. Her family, her leadership, her family's business and everything, all... none was remaining save for the seal of leadership that could one day reinstate her.
"Are they really worth your inner peace, Quinn? When you can find the answer to that at that moment, then do whatever you want but know this. I am with you through it all."
"Xander."
He raised his hand to stop her from speaking. "No need baby, no need. I do not want an answer, all I want is for you to promise me that you would be okay and you would think about all I have said, okay?"
Although he had a point, Jade could not bring herself to accepting it so easily. Her mind had been made up and revenge was her only goal.
When she got to that road, she would cross it but until then, she wasn't interested in not fulfilling her goals.
"My love, promise me you would consider at the very least."
"Okay," Jade nodded her head at him, her eyes still cold and full of anger. "I promise."
"Thanks." That was all he needed and he knew that when she really thought of it, she would not be able to do that which she wanted to do.
He had decided in his heart that he was going to love her with all his heart and make her see the light to a new life and love him as well.
He wasn't against revenge but the end product shouldn't be death as the circle of revenge from then on wouldn't be broken.
He pulled her in for a hug and used his right hand to rub her head down the length of her hair at her back in a peaceful manner.
At first Jade felt like he was treating her as a child but when he continued, she began to feel relief wash through her and inasmuch as she wanted to deny it, she was loving every bit of it as it brought a soothing relief and made her want to sleep.
"I'll be here for you, Quinn. No matter when and how."
"I know, Xan. I know."

Just like that, the days went by with no news from the Anders trying to carry out a secret meeting behind Xander's back as the next thing they knew and got, Xander sent them a warning that not until they stated their business and followed the right procedures and are found wanting during these period, they would go in for it.
As predicted, Zale and his father did not take it lightly and felt really aggravated by it.
"It wasn't his doing sir," One of the men that escaped the ordeal with Jade quickly corrected, earning him a glare from Mr Zain.
"Then whose?" Mr Zain asked the busy bodied, bodyguard.
"It was another group that disrupted the meeting."
"I bet that Xander sent them," Mr Tony corrected his men quickly. He knew that only Xander was capable of doing that and things would go kaboom. "The only difference was that this time he did not attack us himself, he sent one of his gang girls to handle it."
Mr Zain's brows furrowed deeply at his words. Things were getting interesting all of a sudden. "A girl?"
"Yes sir. But it was a guy that was the leader of their squad, nevertheless he included an outstanding girl. I bet he was just trying to insult us and make us feel somehow for him to send a girl to fight."
Mr Zain used his right hand to comb and touch his beard as his mind drifted off in thought as to what Xander was thinking by belittling his men that way.
"Was he trying to say we are not worth his time or what? Even though he may be the best, he still does not have the right to look down on us."
"True sir but I suggest that for now we lay low before he does some more harm than good to our business. He still controls the city," Tony advised.
"Yeah true. I would call Zale and find out how the search for the Unkillable killer is going."
"Good ideas sir. For now since we have a good lead on that,m we should chase after that and let things lie low with Xander. After some time we would start again."
"Yes. Good thinking. I would send you a package. You may leave."
"I am grateful boss. Thank you."
"Thank you, boss," the other man thanked Mr Zain as well and waited for Mr Tony to get up, before following behind.
Immediately the left, Mr Zain put a call through to his son as planned and informed him of the change in plans as well as where his new focus should be on.
"Hello, Zale. How are things over there?"
"Going smoothly father. We got another cue on where the unkillable killer could be hiding."
"Good job. Make sure not to lose track of him, alright?"
"Definitely sir," Zale responded to his father.
"He is the key to our victory in completely wiping off the Frost line. We cannot fail."
"Yes and we would be catching him soon."
"Very good. Anyways, mi want you to place your focus there since that is the only place we have more leads. Withdraw your search teams from and cities that Xander has lead over."
