They rode out their high for another minute till both of them collapsed on each other, panting hard and trying to catch their breaths.
That was the best and most powerful orgasm both of them had ever had but as sweet and nice as it was, it came with something strange and new.
Macy was the first to open her eyes and just as she looked up at Jay's head and was about to caress his face, her eyes landed on something else and new.
Her eyes widened in shock as realization dawned on her and so did her breathing. She totally forgot to breath with her eyes remaining fixed on what she saw.
Seconds later, Jay noticed something strange about her and pulled his head back to look at her.
He was equally shocked when he saw the surprise look on her face making her look like a statue.
Instinctively, he looked deep in her eyes and he saw what she was looking at.
'Bloody hell! Oh No!'
Jay reached up with his right hand and touched his head, till his hand landed on a black hard thing near his forehead.
"AaHhh!!!"
He panicked and did not know what to do other than to cover her lips with his, totally swallowing up her screams as she fought with him.
Due to the fact that he was stronger, he quickly used his hands to hold down hers, till she stopped moving all together. It was at this point that the joined parts of their bodies, became free.
He counted to thirty in his mind before pulling back to look at her. He wasn't too trusting of what she was going to do, so he let go of her lips only, with her hands still locked in place.
Macy did not say anything or move. Instead her eyes and attention remained fixed on the most important thing there and that was none other than the pair of horns on his forehead.
"I can explain. Please do not scream." It was such a hard task for her to do but giving who he was to her, she tried her very best to stay silent.
By now her heart was thudding wildly in her chest but even that too, she tried not to show and if not for the fact that he could feel everything she felt as well, he would not have easily noticed her erratic heart beat as she did her very best to remain calm outwardly.
"I am sorry, Macy but this is the true me."
'What you exactly?' There were so many questions ringing in her head to ask that she just could not voice anyone just like this.
Seeing that she was not responding, Jay let out an exasperated sigh and weakly smiled.
"I know it is difficult and hard for you to come to terms with it but, this is me. I am a…"
Ring! Ring!
Both of their heads turned immediately to the direction the sound was coming from. It was Jay's phone that had begun to ring.
At first he completely ignored it as he still did not trust Macy to not run away but when it started ringing a second time, he was forced to release her.
Just at the time he took the phone from his trouser pocket among the heap of their clothes on the ground, he heard another alarm.
WAAOOO WAOOOO!
Even Macy this time became disturbed and did not waste another second, she sat up on the bed. "What is going on? Macy asked, recovering her forgotten voice automatically.
This was definitely not good and he knew it. "Dress up." That was his only reply and he answered the call. "Hello? Yes. Okay. Umm. We would be out in thirty minutes."
"Too long. Make that twenty. We need to leave ASAP!"
"Sure." The call ended and without looking at Macy, Jay closed his eyes and by the time he opened them, they were gone, completely.
Macy who was busy wearing her clothes had failed to see the transition and when she turned back to look at him after she was done dressing up, she was wowed that the horns were gone.
Bloody hell!
Her eyes popped wide open from shock as the realization dawned on her.
"Calm down, please." Macy did not say anything, her eyes still remained glued on him and her breathing ragged. "Macy, do not do this. Stay focused. Don't panic. Calm down."
By the next week, Macy had refused to go out or even to work and no one knew exactly why. All except Jay. He knew that what had happened between them was hard on her and she was still finding it hard to process things.
Immediately she fainted, he had asked for her things to be packed and rushed her to the hospital with the others exiting the hotel itself.
Something had happened that night while Jade and Xander were busy enjoying themselves. She had sighted one of Anders' top men in charge of some district in Moon Crest City and quickly told Xander she wasn't feeling too well.
So as not to allow Xander notice something was off, she begged him that her tummy was hurting. It was in the process of returning, she pretended to fall on the wall and hit the fire alarm.
First of, it looked as though all these weren't necessary but in reality it was seeing as his men were everywhere. Yes he would not notice her but Jade felt too cautious being around so many of her enemies.
Anything could go wrong and she did not want such. Arctic would blame her if anyone ever got a glimpse about the truth.
So by the time they returned, each couple had their own problems to face with Jay and Macy's being the most important.
Ding Dong!
The doorbell rang and Macy reluctantly stood up from her bed and went to open the door to her house.
Immediately she opened it, she was met face to face with the one person she did not want to have anything to do with for the now.
He was the reason for her confusion and worst still he was the reason why her brain was a muddled mess.
She could not believe up till now what she saw and more than anything, she wanted answers but wasn't still sure if she was ready for the answers.
"Hey, can I come in please?" Jay asked her from outside the door.
Without saying anything, she paved way for him to pass through then closed the door.
By the time they got to the living room, Macy went straight to one of the cushions and sat down on it, ignoring the person standing in front of her.
After some time of just standing there, staring at each other, Jay finally spoke.
"Baby, I know I do not have the right to be here but I believe I owe you the truth. And of which I know you may have already guessed and it may be scary for you and all, but please know this… I love you and that would never change."
"Okay. Kindly explain to me why a pair of black horns appeared out of nowhere on your head and disappeared couple of minutes later."
Her voice was clear, precise and sharp. She did not bother with wasting time and chasing what was not needed. No, she knew what she wanted and if he was going to spill, he better did that quick.
"Okay. I would answer all of your questions. But please be prepared. You may not like what you have to hear."
"Try me." Macy tried putting up a brave front and he knew quite well she was doing so. Even till that moment he was still feeling her emotions and knew she felt his as well.
It simply meant his assumptions were true. She was his.
"Very well then." Before speaking further, he took a seat opposite of her then cleared his throat.
'Here goes nothing.' Jay thought.
This was the first time he was going to reveal his secret to someone else and if it is true that she was who he thought she was, then it was right but if not…
Never had he been in these shoes and he did not know exactly how to feel about it but trusted his instincts and proceeded with telling her the truth and nothing but the truth.
"Macy I am a dragon."
GBAN GBAN!
The words kept on replaying in her heart and mind and her brain could barely think anymore. She thought she had prepared her mind for what he was about to tell her but his confession only threw her into more oblivion.
Never would she had thought that it was as it was. No. Not in this life or in her small life time. She still could not believe her ears. What now?!
