Opening a smile, Noah turned to Robert and said. "Friend, now that we have resolved our enmity of friendship, I believe that we must now deal with the compensation for you trying to take my life, right?"
Hearing Noah's words, Robert felt his spine freeze. He thought that their problem had been solved with that money, after all, that was all the money he had saved. Perhaps if he collected it from his other bank accounts, the most he could probably collect from them would be $7,000, but with the expensive lifestyle he lead, that money was sorely needed.
One study said that if a person earns $500 a month, they will spend $501 a month, which makes them almost never have any money left over, and even if their salary went up to $5,000, they will still spend $5,001, because the lifestyle will go up along with it. They would end up buying more expensive, more valuable, more comfortable, and tastier things, and with that, they would never have money left over. Many people even claim that for the vast majority of people, the only way for them to buy something was to finance it and pay an installment debt, since if the money was free, that person was more likely to spend and would never have the money to buy things otherwise. As far as things were concerned, Robert fit that profile exactly. Even though he was paid more than $20,000 a month, that was not enough for him, who also had equivalent expenses.
So he knew that if he gave this $7,000 to Noah, that money would definitely be missed, and he would have to give up a lot of things because of it. But of course, he also knew that Noah's "life" price was much more expensive than $ 7,000. If he already charged $85,000 just to be able to "fix their friendship", the price he would want for his life would be even more exorbitant.
At that moment, Robert regretted proposing the money right away. Since Noah was not aware of it, he just gave Noah a parameter to use to extort even more money from him.
In an indignant voice, Robert replied, "Wasn't the $ 85,000 I just transferred you enough? Do you think I'm an idiot?"
Hearing Robert's indignant response, Noah replied in his mind, 'Yes, to answer me that way, you must really be an idiot.' But what he said out loud was an answer that once again startled Robert. "Oh, you were the one who suggested this money to fix our friendship, but I believe that my life is worth much more than that. And seeing as we are now friends, I have to help you too. Imagine if some unknown Blessed Rank C appeared out of nowhere and threatened you. If it were me, I would definitely give a large sum of money to anyone who could protect me," Noah said in a friendly voice, as if they truly were friends, until his voice became colder and he finished by saying, "Or rather, I would give a large sum of money so that no one would summon a dagger of flame and separate my head from its neck."
Hearing what Noah said initially already made Robert feel a little intimidated, but upon hearing Noah practically threaten him explicitly that he was going to cut his head off with that dagger of scary flames, all the hair on Robert's body stood on end. From Noah's tone of voice he knew that Noah was not kidding, and from what he saw Noah do on stage, by practically cremating alive his opponents who he had no personal grudge against, he had no doubt that Noah really would hold a grudge against him and kill him right there.
"Damn, no, no, don't worry! I'll make it up to you, okay? I know I practically set you up for death and I'll make it up to you. Tell me, what do you want?" Robert gave up and simply gave in. He didn't want to die. It was better to pay a high price and stay alive to recuperate that money later than to die without a right to anything.
"Choose wisely, but don't worry: I have a problem recently that I am sure you will be able to solve for me," Noah said returning to his emotionless expression.
Hearing that Noah had a problem, Robert perked up and thought it would be easy to fix it. "Of course, of course! Just tell me what your problem is, and I will do my best to try to resolve it immediately!"
Noah knew Robert had no money left, and it would be very problematic to ask him to go out and borrow money from others, so he just gave a subtle hint after remembering what Maggy had recommended for him.
'Since she told me to get a car, that I would have fun with one, this is a great opportunity,' he thought before answering. "Very well. At the moment, I am without a car, and I incredibly loved your car when we went for a drive out here."
Noah didn't have to say anything else. It was a subtle hint, but clear enough for Robert to know exactly what Noah meant by that without having to think too much. But what Robert didn't want was to accept that Noah was suggesting this to him.
Robert had spent more than $350,000 on that car so far, and there was only about $50,000 left for him to finish paying for the car, not to mention how much he had already spent on the financing interest. To think that he would have to give this car to Noah for free was too cruel for him to believe. He would probably have to work another 3 or 4 years to be able to afford another car of that caliber for himself.
"Please choose anything else..." Robert pleaded with Noah, which Noah laughed at, as apparently this man had an even greater love for the car than he imagined. This would make it even more satisfying than Noah had originally imagined.
With a sneer on his face, Noah looked at Robert and responded with as much cynicism as possible. "Friend, do you think that your life is worth more than that car? That the feeling of having your head still glued to your neck is worth more than that? Don't forget, I will protect you so that it doesn't happen to you, friend..."
Hearing yet another cleared threat, which had ceased to be subtle a while ago, Robert swallowed again before resignedly nodding at Noah, saying he agreed with his terms.
Very sadly, Robert took the car key out of his pocket and handed it to Noah.

When Noah took the key, he realized that Robert was still resisting letting go of it, but with a single thought a small ball of fire began to float towards their joined hands, which made Robert scared to death and quickly withdraw his hand to avoid being touched by that terrible flame. Feeling that fire so close to him made him realize how hot it truly was.
Now he understood why people's skin burned so fast by it when compared to normal flames, or even when compared to the flames of weaker Blessed Ones.
Just by feeling a small fireball next to his hand, Robert already felt that he was about to lose his hand to something extremely hot.
At least, when he felt that flame, he realized that what he did was not so bad, since if Noah wanted to kill him right now, he had no confidence in being more powerful than Bobby and being able to resist it for so long.
Although Noah had the luxurious, modern car key in hand, the car still did not have the documents in his name; Robert had not yet transferred the car into Noah's possession. And as Noah has no confidence in Robert, to confirm all of this, Noah decided to use the new skill he received when leveling up, which proved to be more and more useful every moment.
[Hell's Contract]
Without any difficulty, Noah formulated a contract requiring Robert to transfer the car to Noah's name, without trying to do anything that would harm him from the shadows. Which, in order not to die, he made Robert sign it, albeit with much surprise when looking at it, since Robert already knew of monster contracts, but he had never heard of contracts that were possible to make between humans.
Seeing Noah using something like that with him so casually made Robert even more concerned about this young man in front of him. The one thing he learned from joining high society was that the things the public knew, in fact, were at most 40% of what truly existed in society. Perhaps, what Robert knew was 40% of the general context of his reality, that there was always someone higher above in the food chain, with more money, power, and knowledge. And to see Noah casually draft up something he didn't even know existed, made Robert feel a little apprehensive.
This was something that Noah didn't notice. The only thing he saw was that Robert straightened his spine a little and was surprised by the contract, but nothing more.
After receiving compensation, Noah simply left with the car keys and left Robert there. Making it clear that he had no intention of giving Robert a ride after all this, Noah told Robert to pick up his cell phone and try to call one of his friends to come and get him.
Noah, on the other hand, had a big smile as he strolled over to the new, luxurious red Aston Martin DBS he received.

But before Noah could get in the car, he was approached by the attendant who was treating him with as much respect as before, or maybe even a little more after watching Noah's battle.
