'This is gonna be kinda bad,' he thought, as he used [Hell Tunelling] to teleport upwards and as far away as his range allowed him, reapearing over a hundred meters away from the monster, and in another completely different direction.

'What's happening?' Lilith asked, seeng the smoke travelling upwards from the monster's nose, and a massive flame gushed out, setting the ground where they had just been ablaze. 'Oh, that's what was happening,' she finally realized, understanding the monster's pattern they had yet to see, but that Noah had somehow understood. 'How did you know?' she asked, as they accelerated towards the ground from gravity.

'No idea. Gut feeling, I guess?' Noah shrugged as he free falled relaxed, thinking about how to slow down his fall. But out of nowhere, the monster's eyes turned, and, without stopping, it started to turn its entire head towards him.

'Lilith,' he called, seeing the flamethrower mouth turn up slowly, leaving a trail of burning destruction in its path.

'What?' she asked, still not having noticed the monster turning.

'I'm open for ideas how to deal with that,' Noah said, pointing, as the monster turned faster and faster, its eyes staring dead into Noah's eyes.

'Everywhere is on fire. You gotta go up,' Lilith told him, making Noah sigh.

'Guess there's no option.' Suddenly, the two were no longer falling, as a pair of massive wings flappled from Noah's back. And he started to rise, as the flames quickly approached them.

'Noah!'

"I know!" Noah responded to Lilith calling him out, as he teleported as far as possible upwards, trying his best to get away from the monster's aim. As he emerged, he looked down, as he felt the heat travelling up from the fire. "Just how long can this fucker keep up?!" he exclaimed aloud, angrily cursing the monster as he did so.

"No idea, but if he can last longer than just a few seconds, it's gonna be annoying." Lilith's answer came in words, probably because she was tired of not being able to talk. And now that they were hundreds of meters in the air, nobody would be able to hear her. It was also not like people were familiar with lip-reading snakes either. "Look! That's Bel!" She exclaimed, making Noah squint as he looked past the flames and behind the monster, which was now searching for him. The familiar red arrow was travelling towards the monster. Noah wondered whether he would be trying to attack the monster again while it was busy, but as if a switch had been flipped, flames stopped, and the monster turned towards him.

"We need to help him," Noah exclaimed, seeing the monster turn towards him and preparing to send forth another burst of flames. This time, however, all the other blessed were right behind him, and wouldn't be unharmed.

Noah let himself fall from the sky, using the wings to further increase his speed, as he materialized a gigantic stoke of flames. 'Noah, this is dangerous,' Lilith warned him inside his mind, but Noah did not listen.

'I know that already, but I'm not letting all those blessed die. And Bel could also get injured if he can't deal with the flames from head on,' he said, as the fire stoke grew in size, now exceding that of Noah himself, and turning pitch black. Noah had poured a sizeable chunk of his mana into creating this large pointed pole that was durable enough to pierce through the monster's thick skin. Last time, his normal spokes barely even hurt it, and the flames died very quickly, but the ones on the monster's leg were still burning, so all he needed to do was damage him badly. 'Lilith, hold tight, it's gonna be rough,' he said, as he felt he was no longer accelerating, having reached terminal velocity.

And he vanished into flames, tunnelling his way upon the monster.

"NOW!" he yelled, as he materialized a feet above the monster's head, His spoke emitting a white luminance, as the edges glistened with his Mana. To the blessed watching, it looked as if a star had suddenly lit on top of the monster, as they watched with aprehension Bel dash towards it in a red blur.

And it connected.

The enhanced spoke, used like a spear, with over a hundred miles an hour behind it, plus Noah's entire weight and force hit the monster. Noah gritted his teeth, as the sheer force made it feel like his arm was being torn off his body. Yet, it didn't penetrate all the way. It pierced through the skin, but stopped at the monster's bone, throwing the thing's head against the ground.

'Noah, we're gonna hit the ground!' Lilith yelled, seeing the ground around close in on them, and fearing for the absurd force.

"Not just yet!" he exclaimed, as he pured even more of his mana, a skin of living flames engulfing the spoke as he forced it down against the monster. Until an incridibly loud crash happened, as the monster's head collapsed upon the ground. "AHHH!" Noah yelled in pain, as the full brunt of his hit against the monster forced his arm back at once, almost ripping his tendons. Yet, he didn't stop. And, with a large crack, the spoke pierced through the monster's skull in a fountain of fire.

"Oh fuck! HELL!" Lilith forgot to speak in his mind and yelled atop her lungs, as Noah spread his wings and accelerated upwards, a force that seemed to want to rip his flesh from his spine, and made Lilith feel like her body was being pulled down from around him, stretching like a rope. "GOD!" she houled in pain, as they accelerated upwards from a lunge, and their bodies were completely covered in fire. "Holy shit! That hurt so fucking much I'd rather get roasted," she exclaimed, as the [Healing Flames] cured her hurt body. But one thing she was confused about, Noah was yet to utter a single sound.

With his teeth clenched from the pain, Noah used [Healing Flames] over and over. His entire body hurt like he had been ran over by a train. The spot where the wings connected to his back felt like they had been ripped right off. His shoulder had gotted popped off its socket and his hand that yielded the spoke had no skin whatsoever, all burned leaving exposed flesh. He was incredibly tattered, and even the flames were having difficulty healing all of his wounds.

"NOAH! LILITH!" the two heard a yell, as Bel had diverted his path towards the monster to fly towards them, unafraid of the fiery ball they were emerged in. Noah quickly relaxed his wings and started descending towards the ground, the pain almost unbearble. "Is everything alright?!" he asked, worried. In the distance, the blessed watched in silence as they saw the black and seemingly breathing spoke that pinned the monster's head to the ground, and the torrent of flames that gushed out from the bottom of it. As they did so, they noticed the flames on the monster's leg liven up, and start to consume akk the flesh underneath its thick skin.

"I'm okay, Noah doesn't seem to be," she said as she uncoiled herself from him as the two made their way to the ground. Noah was silent, but pain was plastered across his entire face, and as soon as his feet hit the ground, he collapsed forward.

"Noah!" Bel rushed forward, catching him before he could fall, the flames still trying to recover his injuries.

"Lay him down," Lilith ordered, which to boy agreed. By then, Noah had already gotten rid of the wings, and some of his pain had started to easen.

"I think I may have overdone myself," he said, opening his eyes for the first time, as the pain finally subsided a little. "Is the monster dead?" he asked, trying to look past Bel, who side-stepped.

"Not just dead... You made it into a performance," he said with a smile, letting Noah see the fire spraying from its head, and the last few feet of the Fire Spoke peeking above its head. Noah moved his hands, smiling wryly, as a pair of imps appeared. One was the one with [Healing Flames], the other, the one with [Hell Tunelling]. "Go, eat that thing's eyes, and come back to help heal me. Teleport so they don't see you approaching from a distance," Noah ordered the monsters, as he poured more and more mana into his own flames, healing himself.

"I think I fucked my back really badly," he said, as he stopped feeling his entire body.

"What do you mean?" Lilith asked, looking at him and not spotting anything wrong.

"I can't feel anything, anywhere. I think it's just from the sheer force of the thing, but I'll wait for the flames to help."

He closed his eyes, trying to get himself rid of the feeling of his entire body burning, because that was what he was feeling right now. Most of his muscles had gotten torn from the sheer stress of the maneuver, and he regret not having thought things through, especially when using something he never though of using before. "If that thing didn't die from that attack, we would definitely be dead now," he said, looking towards Lilith with a wary expression.

"Yeah. You kamikazi-bombed the thing and stopped a terminal velocity fall in less than a second. I'm surprised you didn't rip me in half, because it felt like it!" Lilith complained, enlarging herself and covering Noah's body with her own.

"They are coming here," it was about the same time Bel called out, as the blessed finally began moving.
