Chapter 1: Chapter-1

So noisy...who is making so much noise?! 

Opening my eyes with a irritated feeling, I released I was in a unfamiliar place (Atleast the bed was soft though!). Sitting up I released there were about 20 others. Some waking up now but some were already awake. Among those who were talking, two stood out the most (mostly because they were talking the loudest).

"He looks out of it, must be a first." 

"So what? want to help him?"

"What's that ...? a challenge!!"

It didn't take a genius to figure out they were talking about me.

After everyone had woken up, we went downstairs to gather. There was obvious confusion on many peoples faces. One very wonderful individual who called herself  Bency actually explained the situation to us 'newcomers'. The gist of his speech was that-:

1. This is a escape game 
2. Our main goal is to either defeat the 'big bad wolf' or escape without notifying it.
3. If we fail to do so, we would die.
4. Also if we break the 'rules'  we die.
5. Rules depend, game to game.

Obviously some were spectical at first and as the door was locked one brave soul tried to jump out the window, only to wind back as a corpse. Then more people were inclined to believe her.

Now, these three pieces of news did wonders to the psyche of the newbies. So much so that they frantically started running around. 

In this chaos, the talkative person approached me.

"hello! I am Remus. I presume you are a newcomer?" he said politely

"Yes."

"If you have any doubts feel free to ask me!"

"You said something about his being the first of mine. How many more 'games' do we play after which we are free?" I asked after a moment.

"Oh...No one rly knows..." he said 

" ohk"   he is hiding something

" More importantly, how did u hear that?! " He exclaimed, trying to shift the topic

'CLANK!' the conversation came to a halt as an sword fell from the wall. The poor soul who made it fall died not even a second later.

'"??? started paying attention to you""

The veterans collectively sighed. 

"Remus, come here" bency called him. Giving me a apologetic smile he went to Bency

Everywhere mummers started once again, this time people did things quietly.

What are the rules? Why are we here? Is this punishment? Will we even survive? Great, now my head hurts. 

'sigh, I wanna go back to bed'
