Chapter 5: Chapter – 5

Inside the dam it was ghost-quite except the sound of water droplets dropping slowly from who knows which leakage and creating a puddle at the place. Suddenly, there was a ripple caused in the puddle as water splashed all around it.

I stepped on a puddle of water on the third floor inside the dam I was in, It was quite inside the place, maybe because it was Sunday there was no one here, Although I doubt it since even then there should be someone guarding this place at least. Nevertheless, Walking around I found an unfilled identity card. They don't use printed ones because this place is often visited by students and it will be hard to print so many in bulk daily. But to think someone would leave them unfilled and no one would check them.

'Why?' I asked Luna in my head but there was no response. I looked at the card, picked up a pen from the ground and filled it. Even though I didn't go the explanation Luna's advise should be worth it.

I kept moving quietly on the third floor, I tried asking Luna how many people there were and in which formation they were in. But there was no response, as if, as if she is… Dead.

'So she isn't dead huh' I thought emotionlessly.

After walking for some time I saw them there was a Man, a very ugly man and a women was being tied to a bed in middle of a quite big empty space by few men in black. Looking from up there I could see that there were about 3 men in total except that ugly man who was talking to someone on the phone with a smug expression on his face.

"what now?" I asked Luna. But again there was no response.

I took a deep breath and began analyzing the situation in front me. I was somehow supposed to make that women escape this place. I began looking around to find a way to make it happen but nothing came to my mind. Then I focused on the man who was talking on phone.

"She is not here yet but she will be soon enough and I will contact you immediately when that happens" said the man.

"No no you can't come here now or else her subordinates will find it suspicious and what will you do if they follow you to here, I myself only bought 4 men to not make it seems suspicious"

'He is probably talking about lily but he is probably lying as she is right here ' so there are 4 men with him should I confront him directly?

[There is a way with which host can save Lily without risking his life but host will need to think outside the box]

Outside the box means something I wouldn't consider in normal circumstances… Probably something crazy.

I took a deep breath and started thinking for a while, I began looking around the place. I knew this place because my middle school also made me visit this place just like all the other schools. They really didn't had any other place to take us to except this damn dam.

And then it came to me with a flash as I was taught by my teacher in school that this place had an electricity issue with it!

'But don't they make sure that under no circumstances any electric hazard occurs?' I thought as I remember my teacher showing me all sorts of genius ways those engineers have thought of to avoid such a calamity.

[They do but I will help you out with that]

'Okay let's get to work than' I thought before a screen popped up in front me and Luna's voice echoed inside my head.

'When is the right moment than Luna?' I asked Luna, there was no response again but this time I knew what do. I must be ready and wait for the right moment. I knew exactly from where I can seal the drain water system, exactly from where cause a water leakage and exactly from where electrocute everyone here. I wasn't concerned about Lily because she was tied to a wooden bed so she won't be electrocuted.

But all around this there was a weird feeling in my heart. Hesitation is what they call it. I was hesitating and how can I not I might just kill someone.

*Gulp* I swallowed my saliva as an internal conflict took place inside me on what choices to make in my life.

On the ground floor Lily woke up and was in turmoil as the Ugly man spoke causing her eyes to slowly lose the life in them. Up there was Atticus is  listening and looking at everything that was happening there with attentive eyes and emotions brewing up inside him that he thought he could never ever feel.

As Lily's eyes were losing emotions Atticus' were gaining life inside them, he was feeling more and more confident on what he was about to do after listening to him for quite a while the inner conflict inside him subsided the hesitation in his heart vanished and he became sure of what he is going to do.

Hearing this voice more doubts about the situation disappeared and some thought appeared in his mind as he became more sure on what to do and what not to do.

'I will clear this mission that is my main motif I do not care about what is happening and will not give in to my emotions ' Atticus thought emotionlessly in his mind as he became more clear about himself and his character.
