" SO... you really are a guy? I thought people just joke about it. Hmm..." Ashiya Akari then examines me up and down carefully with her captivating red ruby eyes that currently gleam like a comet in the night sky through the round glasses. ' Interesting she has a spirit's eyes too.' I thought while staring at her.

" Akari-san... Ayaaya is a boy I'm sure of it as I-ah! Nothing!" Kunou tries to speak up but almost blurt out our activity yesterday morning. " Nya? Something fishy... Kunou-nya did you and Aya-nya already-" Kuroka whisper into Kunou's fox ears with an amused tone.

" No! not that far yet! No more! let's move on! And Kuroka you're still banned from trying to approach Ayaaya!" Kunou's fox ears and tail perk up as she frantically tries to change the subject but Kuroka just smirks and rails her up more.

" Come on Kunou-nya, Aya-nya is essentially my brother now, nothing wrong with a bit of skinship ∼nya. Right? Aya-nii-san∼" She said as she hug my back with complete contact of her breast then whispered into my ears. ' Hmm... D cup huh? She's still around the same age as me so they still a room to grow but let's pacify my angry little fox now.' I brush away my silly thought.

" ∼Chuckle, Kuroka-chan you should not be teasing Kunou too much alright? Shirone-chan can you hold her for a bit?" I respond with a bit of disapproval then resume to soothe my petite fiancé by patting her head and tail plenty while allowing her to hug me as Shirone-chan removes Kuroka off my back.

" Nooo! Shiro-nya let me be like this a bit more—When did your strength get this much already!? quit using senjutsu to pull me nya!" Kuroka groaned as she tried to hold onto my shoulder but fail. " Nee-san... Bad! please stop bothering with Ayaka-nii-san and Kunou-nee-san!" Shirone said as she casually yanked Kuroka from my back with one hand.

" ∼giggle, You guys getting along pretty well huh? Nee, are all of you free? Let's go relax somewhere, I'm pretty much burned out from all the action this week." Akari reacts positively and then proposes to us with anticipation.

" I would love to Akari-san, but I have to go find my father for a schedule first, as you know the fight of yesterday made the western part of the city into rubble... " I dryly voiced the latter part as the battle in the sky yesterday involved 4 marshall grades including me and the roughly thirty Seiryu that has to be purified first so we can put down Tenryu.

" Oh... right, Ayaka-kun I can call you that right? just call me Akari! Since there's almost five hundred Ashiya here, I don't mind and about your father, Yuuki-jii-san, someone from the Tsuchimikado said that he's in the command room right now." Akari replied with a casual tone.

" Thank you Akari-san and sure you can call me that or just Aya, now, that I think about it, I forgot to ask Tenryu about Dad's whereabouts," I replied to her then realize that I can just ask Tenryu about my father. ' The tofu talk made me forget about that while talking with her.'

" Alright, then Ayaka-kun, let's go together I have to report my task completion to them too after all." Then She turns to the yard and shouts at her clan's men. " Oi, I'm gonna be off for a while with Tsuchimikado's princess, you guys are free today!" She announces with a bright smile on her face.

' She has quite a charming smile huh?' I thought while observing the exchange between her and her clan.

" Oh! Got it, princess have fun!" " We'll report back to the ancestor for you!" " Alright, boys time to crack a cold one finally!" They all replied with liveliness.

" With that done follow me, everyone!" She turns back to us and signals with her hand to follow her.

" Ayaaya? Eh!? let me down Ayaaya! I can walk by myself!" Then I process to pick my little fox up in a bridal carry position. " ∼It's fine, ∼it's fine Kunou, I wanna do this.∼chuckle." I calm her down and resume carrying her all the way in as she's really light.

" Nya!? Not fair-nya! Aya-nya carry me too! Ach-" " Bad Nee-san you can't." Kuroka try to jump toward me but Shirone-chan denied her by grabbing onto her collar.

We then arrive at the meeting room with Akari in the front while I let Kunou get down before we entered, she pouted at me adorably I chuckle in response as I can see that she try to hide her smile from me. ' Did she forget I can sense her emotion through our spirit's link? Maybe not.' I brush that thought away as Kunou leans her head against my side and holds my hand.

" Can you two flirt in moderation will you? It's hurt my heart even though I only hear it from my back... Right? Kuro-chan, Shiro-chan." Akari frowns at us and speaks up for the nekoshou sibling.

" Damn right-nya! Aya-nya don't neglect your sister-nya!" "..." Kuroka protested while Shirone-chan just shook her head at her sister's reply.

" We did not flirt alright! let's get in already, I can hear Okaa-sama's voice inside too." Kunou blushed in embarrassment, but she still did not release our hand.

" Well, if you say so, Ayaka-kun stops smiling already! I get it your fiance is adorable, so let me mofumofu her later too okay?" She deadpan at Kunou's answer and turn to me with a frown then wink at me. ' Why do I feel that she gonna get along with Sana really well...' I shake my head in response.

"∼chuckle. That's up to Kunou, Akari-san." I replied with a shrug. " And my answer is a No, but you can get Kuroka instead Akari-san." Kunou then smirks at Kuroka-chan. " Oi, Don't sell me out like that-nya!" Kuroka protested in response. " ∼Hmm, I'll get you both for sure don't worry! but first-" Akari declares with confidence and then went to the door.

" ...Hah, Welcome back Akari-hime, and thank you for your hard work." Yasaka sighs and responds to her with a tired smile as she catches a glimpse of me and Kunou. "∼chuckle. Still full of energy as always huh? Welcome back Akari-san tell your clan men too that we Tsuchimikado appreciate their help." Harutora replied politely. " Thank you for your hard work Akari-san." Rikuo in his human form said.

" Got it, but what happened here? Why there are more people here today did you recall the force from other prefectures already?" As Akari-san asks I look around the room too and found my dad talking to someone my age with a man with a goat-like beard and long black hair with fade-out blonde.

' Marshall grade... almost dragon king class, but also lacking something... he's probably not a human nor a Youkai and that boy is a general grade and also has an aura of divinity Hmm... either a Totsuka no Tsurugi or a sacred gear like Sei and Sana.' I deducted only by looking at them and using only spirit sense.

' Also what with that dog though? full of divinity and the essence of the sword? Oh? there's a spirit's link between that dog and the boy, so a shikigami?' I observe the small black dog with an interest.

Then I turn my sight back to the front. " This happens and I'll explain." Harutora point at the hologram map specifically Mie prefecture. " Eh? Are they for real? Why is the Ise grand shrine in red!? Did Yamatohime fall or something?" Akari said with an incredulous expression. " Worse they got a civil war and the crow over there gives us information about it." Harutora then points at the man who is talking to my father.

' Crow... Nephalem? No, he lacks a demonic essence and the 4 aspects, so a Nephilim or Fallen angel as this world like to call them, and well, the word Nephilim is associated with half-angel more after all. Also, he's probably more likely a watcher(Grigori) since he's marshall grade, but which one?' I muse over my thought.

"...Oi old goat! What are you doing here!" She shouted at him.

He looks over here with a surprise on his face then responds. " Oh, hello Akari-Jou! Just passing by to deal with something, you can ask Yakou for that." He said with a casual tone.

When I look nearby the fallen I see my father telling me to come over with his hand. 'Guess there's a work to do for today after all...' That's what I thought while walking to him along with the girls minus Akari-san who went to talk with Tora-nii.

" Finally, you're awake Ayaka, Kunou-hime, also both of you too, Good afternoon Kuroka, Shirone." Father greeted us with a gentle voice. " Good afternoon, Yuuki-jii-sama, or do I call you Otou-sama([お義父さま]as Father-in-law) now?" Kunou welcomes him back and asks with a small smile. " Good afternoon-nya, Yuuki-papa!" Kuroka said casually. " Good afternoon, Yuuki-jii-san." Shirone said in a small voice while holding Kuroka's hand.

" Ahaha... I don't mind it Kunou-hime by the kami I'm sure, Yuuka will ask you to call her mother for sure also, Kuroka, Shirone, I'm sorry about the room and Shuna's behavior that she sent you two out like that in the morning." Father replied with a dry laugh and apology to the sibling.

" It's fine-nya I get that Shuna-mama wanna spend time with Yuuki-papa after all nya!" Kuroka answer with a laid-back tone while Shirone nodded along with her. " Thank you for understanding, but my son did not cause any trouble right?" He asks in an amused tone.

" No-nya Aya-nya is nice, but I can't get close to him due to a kyubi here-nya..." Kuroka grumbles. " Ayaka-nii-san is kind and he did not give me any uncomfortable feeling so far, Yuuki-jii-san," Shirone shake her head and answered straightly.

" That's good then, welcome to our family you two and Kunou-hime, I hope we can get along well, I know my wife, Yuuka will get along with you girls very well," Father said with a gentle smile and chuckle a bit. " Me too-nya, Yuuki-papa!" Kuroka said with a bright smile.

" Please take care of us, Yuuki-Otou-san." Shirone-chan blush a bit while saying that. " Got it, Otou-sama!" Kunou replied loudly while still holding my hand and her tail waved in excitement.

" Hopefully, they take off a certain burden on me dad..., but I already promise that I'll help with the shrine's festival, so still no escape from being a Miko..." I sigh after saying that, but I do not really dislike it though since it calms me down. ' Kind of cure my homesick most of the time.'

Father cleared his throat a bit and then apologized to the boy around my age, who is standing awkwardly beside us, as he saw the whole exchange of our family and tried to distract himself with his dog, then snarked at the watcher.

" Got it, Tobio so, is Jin a shikigami? Can I pet him?" I accepted his request and ask.

" Ah-no, he's a sacred gear an independent avatar type, you can pet him, but is it fine jin?" He explains what Jin is and then asks Jin for my request. [bark] Jin barked and nodded with his tail swaying lively. " Ahaha, there you go." Tobio signals me to approach Jin.

" Sure thing, Prometheus." I smug at him after saying that. " ∼You know what, that's one of the nicest name people call me with usually I land on olympian more than a titan ∼ahaha." He said in a pleasantly surprised tone.

" Well, now we can get back to the topic Azazel," Father said. " Alright, so two kids with dragon gear with the possibility of being a high dragon tier? Yeah, I'm in, a free research sample is a win for me. Hopefully, one of them has a Vitra gear I've been missing absorption line." Azazel said his reason.

" Dad, Is this about Sana and Sei?" I ask him for confirmation. " Yes, since their eyes become more draconic over the year and Issei-kun obsession with that thing also, going overboard lately so, I'm worried about potential draconic's rage state in time, do you know anything about the dragon in their gear?" Father said with a concerned tone.

" Sei has a Welsh dragon, Y Ddraig Goch, I've used spirit's eye on his soul once as for Sana, can that thing even be called a dragon here, to be honest? Bahamut looks like a full armor knight with thirty flying crystal swords as wings..." I said while trying to remember the detail of those two dragon souls, I see a couple of years ago. " You finally got more friends huh? Ayaka." Dad speaks up with a lax tone after the serious talk is over. " Yeah, I guess so? sorry, it takes longer than I thought." I agree then pat Kunou's head because I've been ignoring her all the time during our talk.

" ∼Unun, It's fine Ayaaya, this is about your childhood friends, after all, I also, wanna meet them! especially Sana-san!" Kunou said with a spark in her eyes. " ∼Ahaha, please go easy on her Kunou-hime she is only around Shirone's age." Dad chuckled while told that.

" What with both childhood friends being dragon gear hosts nya? Is that Sana actually the one who calls dibs on Aya-nya?" Kuroka asks with an amused tone.

" I think so, but! all is fair in love and war so, Ayaaya is mine first!" Kunou proudly states that as her fox ears and tails perk up while I still pat her head. " ∼Nyaha! You said that first ∼Kunou-nya ∼so..." Kuroka smiled eerie as she turned toward me.

" Let's get along more nya ∼Aya-nii-san." She leans against me and slowly moves her hand around my neck and I shake my head in response and let a small argument between the fox and cat break out again with me in the middle.

" How do you usually wake her up like this Kuroka? Should I carry her?" Dad asks with worry. " It's fine, Yuuki-papa I'll carry her," Kuroka said with a committed voice. " Can I do it instead Kuroka-chan?" I ask. "...no-nya I'm her sister after all Unn... maybe next time Aya-nii-san," Kuroka speaks with a bit of hesitation and a sad smile then she went and pick Shirone up on her back.

Then three of us left the room by ourselves as dad went to find Shuna-san and tell me that the work started tomorrow and we should go relax somewhere oh, also Akari-san yell at us to wait for her in the courtyard as she need to talk about the issue for a while, so I agree as I did not have any plan anyway.

" Here, Shirone-chan." I offer her a yokan, which I keep in my storage. " Thank you... Nii-san." She replies in a small voice. " Nee, Ayaaya why do you have a lot of sweets on you?" Kunou asks in curiosity while munching on a Dango.

" I made it in my free time and I usually made a big batch to share with my family and the Hyoudo, Sei, and Sana's family too so, these are pretty much my share and I have a weird habit to keep some in my spatial storage just in case," I answer them and also tell them about one of my hobbies.

" You made these-nya!? ∼Hmm, it's good-nya! What about normal food? Can you cook too?" Kuroka asks in excitement. " Yes, I can in our house only mother and I can cook, after all, I made lunch usually she made breakfast and sometimes we both make dinner together," I said in a nostalgic mood remembering the usual routine that I had been absent for a couple of days since coming here.

" Unn... Chāhan(fried rice) Tamagoyaki, Omurice, Ayaaya, and Okaa-sama are-" Then we process to talk about all of our favorite types of food and sweets also, a drink too while waiting for Akari who has a burden of leading her clan.

I also distribute a lot of my stock-up sweets of this life to Shirone-chan who seem to make it disappear like nothing. ' Is she a personification of gluttony or something?' I think as I sip on my sake cup.

Then an hour passed by now it was 4:30 p.m. some people approached us from a distance while we still sit on a picnic blanket. The sound of cicadas singing gives us a soothing summer experience also, the wind blows nicely around here too, and totally not because I invoke Fujin's name as Shirone and Kunou have taken a nap with my lab as a pillow. And Kuroka just tries to fight her sleepiness as she has been drinking sake with me.

" Ayaka-kun, I'm here!" Akari voice out loud from a distance. " Shh..." I hush her and point at my lap. " Ah! Sorry." She sticks her tongue and apologizes in a quiet voice and walks up to us.

" Is Kuro-chan alright there? She seems about to fall unconscious anytime now." Akari asks with concern. " She just intoxicated Akari-san and she trying to use senjutsu to purge the alcohol in her body right now, anyway, here Akari-san," I explained Kuroka's state and offer a sake cup to her.

" Thank you, But I'm surprised that you're drinking too Ayaka-kun, you don't look like someone who used to do things like this," Akari said in a surprised tone.

" I have an alchemist friend that got me addicted to alcohol a bit Akari-san and I like the taste too, I heard you fight like a pirate in battle why a canned beer though? The bottle one is better." I confess my habit from my first life and then ask about her.

She grins at me after showing that.

" Well, can you both stop talking about the sword nya? Aya-nya do have anything to deal with a hangover? My head hurt like crazy what with that sake nya? that's not a normal one for sure." Kuroka grumbles while holding her head.

" How did you get your hand on Takamagahara's sake little Ayaka? I'm pretty sure those cranky Amatsukami aside from the few never trade something like this to mortal." Tenryu who suddenly appears beside us examines the sake with an astonished expression.

" I have my way Tenryu-san," I said to her with a grin. ' It's actually a Yamato's sake as for how I get it, it's an offering for me since I'm still a Tsukuyomi there remember?' " Hah... Alright then, keep your secret little Ayaka anyway, Little Akari how are you?" She made an annoyed expression and talk to Akari instead.

" I'm fine, Ten-chan I heard you get corrupted, is there anything left in the soul we should be concerned with? I doubt the Tsuchimikado would miss those." Akari answered with laid back attitude. "I'm all healed and healthy thanks to Yakou and little Ayaka here little Akari." She smiles at Akari while tapping her chest proudly.

" Aya-nya... water... help..." Kuroka asks while holding her head desperately. " Metal enriches Water,-" I used Onmyodo to make water that can help with her hangover. " Here you go, Kuroka-chan." I offer freshly conjure hangover cure water to her.

" Hah... I'm alive...nya, I'll never drink that much again with you Aya-nya that was torturing." Kuroka said while sighing in relief from the effect of water.

"∼Chuckle, sorry, I forgot to tell you that, I can't really get drunk unless it's that type of alcohol. I'll give you a normal one next time Kuroka-chan." I confess. " I got you little Ayaka, normal alcohol can't really do anything for people with strength like us after all right? little Akari." Tenryu back me up and ask Akari who had been drinking with us.

" Umm, right, if I wanna get drunk I pretty much need to drown myself in vodka Kuro-chan," Akari said after chucking another shot of sake. " Nya... I'm surrounded by alcoholics nya... Shuna-mama only drinks normal one nya..." Kuroka said with a tired voice.

Then we process to drink and eat some snack like that for another hour or so, as Shirone and Kunou wake up midway as our voices get louder as we talk about trivial things like hobbies and general stuff. And Akari has been like this for twenty minutes now... so I call Ashiya personnel nearby to collect her from here.

After another twenty minutes passed she breathed in and chucked one shot of Sake then start telling a story.

She bites her lip and continues.

"...Until they try to use Shirone too, but you know it fails as I killed him and anyone in the room that day and take Shirone with me coincidently after a month or two, We were saved by Shuna-mama who been searching for us as the devil start hunting a nekoshou in the underworld, but they stop thank to Tsuchimikado Harutora presence alone made them fear and stop after two villages were burned... Sure, Serafall did kill all of the Naberius houses in retaliation to calm the Tsuchimikado, the Nura, and Takamagahara down but..." Her tears fall and some blood drip from her mouth.

" I wanna slaughter all of them by myself so damn bad... but... I think, ...I'm fine now Aya-nii-san... It's been three years since. As long as Shirone is happy I don't need anything else. Also, I'm a full Nekoshou as you see not reincarnated devil as Tsuchimikado and Ashiya's Onmyodou did fix me up after all... so, their effort was in vain hah... I love that feeling." She has a sad smile after telling me all that.

" ...You can rest easy now, Kuroka I don't know how to say this, but you can ask us to spoil you too not just Shirone-chan okay? I feel that you need it too as dad said you're our family now both of you so, can you let me spoil you as your brother?" I said in a calm voice and give her a reassuring smile.

She hug me and said. " Thank you, Nii-san, ...Don't worry too much Nii-san, Shuna-mama has treated me plenty of time, or else I would not be like this." Then she smiles lightly to reassure me.

" You know your story made me almost permanently have hatred for the devil, but I need to see myself to judge them," I confess to her what I think. " Nii-san, it's only Naberius that's a problem trust me, I used to hate them until Shuna-mama bring me to Murim China and Moonlit Romania... the devil is not that bad after all...∼giggle," Kuroka said with a playful voice.

" Are the martial artist and the vampires that bad?" I ask with a wry smile. " Worse, Aya-nya, they can get on everyone's nerve without much effort you fight one they bring their whole family into it ah... I really hate those 5 noble families of the central plain... and vampires nya... the Tepe can burn in the sunlight for eternity... their pride... the devil is more human-like than those two factions. I'm sure most dhampirs got it harder than me in the Naberius lab..." She end with a self ridiculed smile as she said that.

" Sound rough..." I said nothing as I can't think of a word to help her at the moment plus my body is 40% alcohol at this point as I did not stop drinking since I send Akari away. " That's why Aya-nya, I fine now, and Serafall is the nicest devil I've met better than half of the human I see over the year at least." She shrugs and moves close to my ear.

" Oh and Aya-nya..." She whispers into my ear. " Hmm?" I tilt my head slightly for a question as I drink my last shot of Sake and Kunou now sleeping on my lap from alcohol intoxicated. " I'm still a virgin by the way ∼giggle..." She said that then grins and giggle creepily so, I bonk her head.

" Ach-what happen to a kind brother act Aya-nya!" Kuroka protest. " Gone with that sentence you whisper to me Kuroka-chan well, as long as you're lively that's good." I pat her head to calm her down a bit. 'Guess that's it for this evening tomorrow it's time to work let's see whether the Mundus's chronomancy or whatever the native doing is more effective.' I thought about what to do tomorrow.

" Kuroka-chan mind carry Shirone-chan? I need to carry Kunou and the wasted Tenryu here." I ask and point at Tenryu who slumbers nearby after telling a lot of black history of Amaterasu. " Got it, nya∼." She agrees. Then we both proceed to carry three of them to our room as I don't know where to drop Tenryu.

' I have a feeling that tonight is far from over I wonder why...' That's what is on my mind when I finish showering and prepare to sleep with only Kunou this time as Kuroka and Shirone-chan sleep on different futons and I place Tenryu's futon nearby too but she smells like sake so I place her far away from us.

" Oyasumi Kuroka," I said. " Oyasumi, Aya-nya∼" She replies with a merry voice.
