Chapter 29: The Three Tailed Fox

Anzar continued to attack the beasts while remaining with his men in a defensive position. Meanwhile, Kahina and the others on the walls continued to attack from a distance. They tried to reduce the number of beasts before they engaged in the melee.

Regardless, more and more beasts are rushing on Anzar and his men.

The first legion warrior died next to Anzar due to an attack from a red rank beast that pierced his heart, and his body fell to the ground.

They managed to enter the city from the Gate. Once Anzar and Uzmir reached the Gate, Anzar ordered:

"Close the gate."

Two men were already ready for the maneuver and operated the mechanism.

The Gate then closed, temporarily blocking the wild beasts, allowing Kahina and the others on the wall to continue reducing their numbers even more.

Anzar also took this opportunity to reposition his men in front of the Gate. Ready to block the wild beasts again.

It took only 20 seconds for the beasts to destroy the Gate, then, for the second time, they clashed with Ansar and his men and engaged in a fierce melee fight.

This time, they successfully blocked the sides. The beasts can no longer take advantage of their numbers.

However, he ignored this, and Anzar tried to cut the Beast's neck with his Axe, but the fox avoided it.

Anzar prepared to give a second strike. However, the fox was faster and attacked with its claws.

Anzar quickly noticed that he was much slower compared to this Beast.

He then adopted a defensive posture with his Axe and injected more and more qi into his protective layer.

However, this fox was not only swift, but each of its blows was powerful.

Every time the claws clashed with the Axe or the protective layer of Anzar, a loud explosion sound could be heard from the sky by Kahina and the others.

Indeed ! this cunning fox was bluffing, frustrated the Beast attacked even stronger and faster than before.

Anzar suffered more and more injuries, but he didn't panic. If this fox was using bluffs, there must be a reason.

Suddenly the frequency of attacks is reduced, and no more attacks manage to pierce through his protective layer. Decisively, Anzar activated his defensive artifact just in case and went on the offensive!
