“I’ve had a lot of fun! Wait for your information tomorrow, Asa. I promise I will deliver it to you! As long as you have the item.”
“Yeah, sure. I will prepare the item tomorrow. Let’s meet in this place again.”
“Un! See you tomorrow!”
I left the café after hanging out with Aru for a while. The sky had turned orange before I knew it, even though I had visited the café in the morning. Time flew so fast when I had fun with my friend.
Titan also looked satisfied as it rubbed its belly as I walked down the road of Akihabara with my earphone, which had the lights turned on one after the other, making it like a glowing city.
“I praise you, Asa. I will allow you to take me to that place again.” It said, putting its paw on my cheek.
“As you wish, my King. We will return to that place tomorrow.”
“Umu! You’re not as clueless as you seem. Your friend is also okay. I will allow her to pet me for a minute tomorrow. Her treats were delicious. You have a good friend.”
Ah, Aru managed to tame Titan. So there goes my blackmail material. So I thought as I chuckled gently at our little skit.
She was really amazing, that girl. Even though she looked like a hobo and introvert, her taming skill was top-notch. That was why I must keep my part of the promise too.
“Titan, we need to stop somewhere first.” I stopped on my track when I reached the crossroad and spoke to Titan. The traffic light was still red, and a lot of people were waiting to cross the road.
“Where?” Titan asked shortly. Probably it knew that I was about to get the promised item for exchange.
“A love nest,” I answered with a grin, pulling down my mask.
“She will hate you, you know?”
“There is no way that would be true. She will love me.”
Because I still remember her reaction at that time. She looked satisfied when I forced myself on her.
Fufufu, Diva is cute, but she’s still my favorite~

According to some information that Aru managed to secure from the Magical Girl Forum, a certain person had seen a Magical Girl wearing a red dress passing through a part of this ward.
Where was it, to be exact? It was in Shinjuku; that was why I was here after taking a train from Akihabara.
“It’s not so different from Shibuya,” I muttered as I ate a hot Takoyaki in my hand while sitting on a bench near the main street of Shinjuku.
“Well, if you count the pedestrians passing through the main street, you can say it is a lot more than Shibuya,” Titan answered from my lap. It was fed enough, so it refused my offer to eat the Takoyaki together.
“That’s true. We are at the right place and the right time. She should pass by soon if the information is correct. I can also feel her Mana if she’s approaching, so we just need to wait here.”
Nom!
I put another Takoyaki into my mouth. “Hnnn! This is bliss!”
The crispy outer layer and the soft inner layer combined with the diced octopus inside melt inside my mouth, giving a bomb of flavor. It was amazing, Takoyaki.
I remember I ate a lot of Takoyaki before I spent all my money buying merchandise. So I was quite happy to have extra money from the Beast’s core to allow me to eat Takoyaki again. I should work harder to kill Beasts. That way, I could meet more Magical Girls and earn some pocket money!
A hundred thousand yen for Garmr’s Beast’s core, what a good deal! Even the small dog gave me ten thousand yen!
As I enjoyed the flavor of Takoyaki, Titan’s ear suddenly perked up as it called out to me.
“Asa, don’t you feel something weird around this Ward?”
“Hmm?” I looked down at Titan before sharpening my senses, trying to feel something unusual in the city. “I can’t feel… wait. It’s weird. There is nothing unusual in this Ward.”
Weird. It was really weird. How could I not feel this? Even Titan didn’t realize it until now.
“Yeah.” Titan stood up, looking around the Ward. The pedestrians walked around and laughed normally. The buildings also didn’t have strange activities, only stood like usual. “There is no Teleportation Waypoint in this Ward. I remember there should be one in every Ward of Tokyo.”

I nodded as I put another Takoyaki, the last one, into my mouth and threw the trash in the trash bin beside the bench. This was weird, alright.
Shinjuku was one of the biggest wards in Tokyo. Its train station was the busiest one in the whole world. The number of people walking around was maybe also the biggest one in Japan. Even Shibuya had one Teleportation Waypoint. I could feel its small flow of Mana from my home.
But how could there be no Teleportation Waypoint in this big and busiest Ward? What if a Beast suddenly appeared in this area? Wouldn’t the Magical Girl couldn’t arrive in time in that case?
There must be something that happened to the Teleportation Waypoint in this Ward. Thankfully, I was here. Magiya Blaze should pay me for this charity work later. I would catch her for sure.
Licking my lips, I put on my mask and stood up, carrying Titan to my shoulder.
“Where is the location of the Teleportation Waypoint that you remember?”
“That way.”
“Alright.”
I quickly ran in the direction that Titan pointed, ignoring the pedestrians. While doing so, I put my left hand on my necklace, ready to transform back to Arsy anytime. As I said, I didn’t really mind being seen by people while transforming. Rather, I wanted to be seen.
But I didn’t know the situation, so I preferred to move as a normal human. The location that Titan pointed to was unexpectedly a tall building that looked like an apartment, 3 minutes away from my previous location. It was located in a desolate area of Shinjuku.
When I arrived, I noticed that there were only a few people around there, two to be exact. The streets were also not appropriately lit.
“Titan, is… is this…” I asked Titan with a cracked voice as I pointed at the apartment. No, what looked like an apartment in front of me. “This is the correct place?”
“Yes, I believe this is the place.” Titan nodded.
“Then… why?” I couldn’t really believe it. It was too different from the Teleportation Waypoint that I visited in Minato Ward. “Why the hell is this place ruined?”
The apartment was ruined. There were even police lines around the rubbles to keep people away.
Unfortunately, Titan wasn’t omniscient. It shook its head at my question.
“I don’t know.”
It jumped down on my shoulder and looked around the rubble for a while before turning around.
“Asa, I don’t think I can accompany you tonight. I need to stop by Raylight first.” It said seriously. It must be related to this ruined Teleportation Waypoint.
I wasn’t a fool either. I could feel a lingering Mana around the destroyed apartment now that I was close. The apartment wasn’t ruined by chance or an earthquake. Someone or a Beast destroyed it with Mana.
“Yeah. Feel free to. It seems that I will not be able to sleep tonight too.” I answered Titan.
If it visited Raylight, the Magical School, I guess it wanted to talk with that woman that it met on the roof. I didn’t know who that woman was, but she surely knew Titan in some way.
I could leave that thing to Titan because I also had an appointment.
“Don’t go too far. Tell her to be careful too.” Titan jumped away as it said that, disappearing into the rubble. I guess it wanted to find the Teleportation Magic Circle.
With its small body, Titan could surely fit among the rubble. I didn’t think I should worry about it.
“Sure, see you around.”
With that, Titan and I parted ways. I walked away in a certain direction because I was finally able to feel it. The familiar warm Mana that I tried to find tonight.
“Although there is a small problem on the way, I am finally able to find you, Magiya Blaze.”
I began to skip around when I imagined what I would do to Magiya Blaze later. Of course, I also noticed the shadow of a girl that looked at me from a distance away, atop the roof of a building. I ignored it because it seemed interesting. That shadow could even fool Titan’s sense, after all.
Even I had just noticed it when it looked at me when I arrived in front of the ruined apartment. That was why my voice cracked a bit, as I put an act to fool the shadow in case she could hear me.
Now then, what will you have for me, oh mysterious one? I hope it will be fun~ I grinned as I glanced at the shadow without turning around.
