Chapter 30: Chapter 30 – A Movie and Titan

The movie theatre in Lithi city was big even compared to a big city in Japan. The lobby of the movie theatre was filled with all kinds of stalls that sold snacks. There were popcorns, potato chips, all kinds of snacks that were suitable to eat when watching a movie.

“Master! There are a lot of movie choices! Which one should we watch?” Zayats asked me as she looked at the list of the movies in front of her.

We were standing in the lobby of the movie theatre, right beside the ticket counter, looking at the list of the playing movie in front of us.

At least 20 movies were playing in the theatre today, and unsurprisingly, most of them were Magical Girl-themed movies.

“Well, just pick one, Zayats. I haven’t yet watched all the movies on the list.” I looked at Zayats who touched her chin with her right hand and held her right arm with her left hand.

“Hmm, then Master! Should we watch the Magical Girl Love?”

She pointed at the movie on top of the list while looking at me with glistering eyes.

I looked at the movie’s cover and saw a typical Magical Girl with pink hair and pink costumes holding her wand with a heart-shaped tip towards the sky.

Behind the Magical Girl was another Magical Girl with twin-tailed blonde hair and a yellow dress smiling towards the camera.

‘Ah, pink-haired and pink-dressed Magical Girl reminded me of that one story. I hope this one will not end up like the other pink-haired Magical Girl.’

Fortunately, no mascot looked like a cute animal was standing near the Magical Girl. Instead, a shadow of Giant could be seen in the sky.

I nodded my head at Zayats and said.

“Alright, let’s watch that one.”

We went to the ticket counter and ordered two tickets for the movies. The movie will start in less than 5 minutes, I must say that this was a welcomed coincidence.

I ordered some popcorns and potato chips while I asked Zayats to order me a big glass of cola. She went back while holding two big glasses of cola and gave me one of them before we entered the auditorium room to watch the movie.

The movie was around 2 hours, and I was crying when the movie ended.

The damn director made the movie similar to that one, the Magical Girl’s series which was filled with despair.

That was not the kind of story that I wanted to watch, because I was often absorbed in the story.

But, the real world was different. If I saw something like that in the real world, maybe I will get hooked and watched it from the sky as usual.

We exited the movie theatre after I washed my face and the sun had been turned off. The sky was now dark, the artificial light had been lit all across the city. We decided to end the night and walked back to our hotel.

On our way to the hotel, I noticed Zayats was looking at me with a sad face.

“What’s wrong?”

I asked her while peering into her eyes.

“Master, is there any Magical Girl in the world that had the same fate with the Magical Girl Love?”

Magical Girl Love was the protagonist of the movie that I had watched earlier. She was the first Magical Girl, and she wanted to protect the city that had the same name as the end city that was located in the center of this world.

She sacrificed herself to seal the Evil Giant that brought destruction. By the way, the Giant was the Giant that stood behind the Magical Girl on the movie cover.

Magical Girl Love dead after she saved her friend, the Magical Girl with blonde hair.

If I answered Zayats with yes, then I would be lying to her. If I answered her with no, then it was a lie too.

Because the Magical Girl Love in the story had existed in the past, and she was still sealed until now.

I didn’t know that there was a movie about her, so I was glad that I watched the movie with Zayats. I even got absorbed with the movie that I didn’t do anything to Zayats!

That girl related to the last event of this game, which was a little bit troublesome for the first-time player.

Her story was more or less similar to the movie that I watched earlier, but a part of the story was emitted.

‘Because the secret will bring the Magical Girl into madness. They will not be able to handle the truth, especially Magical Girls from the Good Side.’

That was why I answered Zayats.

“Who knows. Maybe they exist, maybe they do not. That’s why we are traveling. We need to see it by ourselves, we need to look at it with our own eyes. Do you understand, Zayats?”

Zayats’s expression brightened and she pumped her fists in front of her chest.

“That’s true! Master, I now understand why you wanted to travel this world.”

“Right, the world is vast. There is a lot to be found. So, I will have you stick with me until the end, Zayats.”

“Yes, Master!”

In the entrance gate of Lithi City, a black-haired man walked out of the city followed by a black-robed figure. Her face was hidden by the shadow of the hood that was on her head. She was only as tall as the man’s shoulder. She only followed the man without saying anything.

After they walked a bit far away from the city, the man stopped and looked back at the city. This man was the one who introduced himself as Night, a Giant that Zmeya met in the auction.

“Hydra, huh.” He muttered as his lips curved into a grin.

He then looked at the robed figure that stopped in front of him. From under the hood, her black eyes looked at the man with curiosity.

“Hydra?” She asked the man. Her voice was deep, unlike a normal sweet voice that a girl had.

“An interesting girl that I met in the auction. She’s interesting, I can feel my power from her. Not only that, her Magia was strange.”

“Eh? But that means…”

The girl was surprised, her mouth widened in response. Her words were cut off because the man put his big right hand on top of her head.

“That meant, the girl that I met earlier has my power. The power of the strongest Giant, Titan. Hahahaha, how did she get my power, I wonder.” Night, no, Titan laughed as he narrowed his eyes.

The girl just looked at Titan with her mouth closed. She didn’t dare to say anything, she was afraid of disturbing Titan.

“Don’t be afraid, my girl. As you are the one that I chose, my first Magical Girl.” Titan stopped laughing and looked at the girl with a kind smile.

“Well then, shall we go to my home?”

“Yes.” The girl answered Titan, and they walked away from Lithi City.

Zmeya, the source of Titan’s interest, didn’t know that she had managed to got Titan interested in her.
