"I am home."

Finally, after a long day, I arrived at my house.

Like a work of magic, the tiredness that I felt was relieved a little by the atmosphere of my house, which was neither too luxurious nor too ordinary.

I took off my shoes and went to the kitchen area.

My kitchen area is unique because it is very well designed for the needs of a professional chef; Almost half of the first floor is devoted to the kitchen; a quarter is provided for public circulation and also a serving area; then another quarter is provided for private circulation; private rooms are centered on the second floor.

"Hmmm... since I bought tenderloin fillets, let's make steak sandwiches!"

For dinner, I want to make something that can lift the mood, feels casual and fun to eat, but is still fancy.

I put out some good fillets; if you want a Rolls Royce of meat, it has to be a fillet.

I gently placed the tube-shaped meat on a large wooden tray. But when it was put down, its shape turned into a block, which showed how soft it was.

Beautifully salt it... I use the pepper mill to evenly distribute the pepper. Roll it slowly so that all the spices are evenly distributed.

Take a hot pan and drizzle it with olive oil.

Carefully hold the seasoned protagonist, then place it gently without dropping it. After that, tilt the pan slightly towards the front so that the meat on the back, which is attached to the edge of the pan, is also exposed to heat.

TSSSS!

"Listen to that melodious voice... The sound is like melodious music when the steaks are nicely grilled with fragrant olive oil.

Then roll the steak backward with tongs, making sure the meat is not cooked on the side.

One garlic clove, halved without peeling, placed in the pan with the tender meat, and roasted together with thyme spice.

Don't take too long, and then lift it and place the thyme on top of the garlic.

Then place the tender fillets on the toasted onion and herb throne.

Take the butter and put it in the pan.

Remove the pan from the heat and use a spoon to brush the fillets in the butter, which is fragrant with garlic and thyme.

Remove the pan and place it in the oven for eight minutes.

While I'm waiting, I'm going to make a slightly spicy tomato relish.

I cut the red onion in half, then cut it with the rule of three fingers in front, and the tips of the thumb and little finger are on the stripes. Make sure it's not too thin or too big, then cut the middle horizontally, and then cut it again into small pieces like dice.

Cut the red chili.

Take a pan. Put it on the stove, and then, as usual, start with hot, good olive oil. Add the red onion along with the chili you prepared earlier. Also, add a little more olive oil since I want a rich and silky relish.

Take tomatoes. I chose red and yellow tomatoes because they provide the ideal combination of color and flavor. Just split it in half, then put it in the pan and roast it beautifully.

Use the wooden spoon and crush them to make a nice, textured, ripe tomato skin.

Adding a teaspoon of cherry vinegar gives it a nice sour taste and balances the sweetness of the tomatoes.

Turn off the heat, then let it boil completely.

"AH! I almost forgot."

Without mustard mayonnaise, steak sandwiches would be incomplete.

I took the mayonnaise and grain mustard out of the drawer.

Take a bowl and mix three tablespoons of mayo and one tablespoon of grain mustard.

I lick it after dabbing it with my index finger.

"Mnn... it feels just right."

To make the relish tomato jam more fragrant, I added basil leaves, which I had sliced thinly.

Ting!

I took the steak out of the oven. "Look at this!"

I'm sorry, dear protagonist, but I have to get you down from that garlic throne of yours because I feel like eating you.

I used tongs to lift him from the pot onto a wooden cutting board.

Let him rest a bit.

While waiting, I prepared the Ciabatta bread, then seasoned it well and drizzled a little with olive oil, which would make it crispy when toasted in the pan.

After preparing the bread, I returned to that sexy meat.

I coated it again with the garlic and thyme base earlier.

Then she took a knife and cut it with beautiful cuts.

"Hmmn, oh meat, why are you so soft!"

When I cut it gently, it was so tender that it was like cutting butter.

The inside is pink, and then a juicy liquid comes out of it.

"Wow, so juicy!"

Brush two slices of bread with mayonnaise before adding the lettuce leaves.

I put the meat that was cut earlier on the plate and then covered it with a rich tomato relish.

After finishing one, I repeated it until all the bread was filled with all the ingredients.

After that, I made a nice presentation and then sat down quickly.

"Finished!!"

"Thanks for the food!"

I took one sandwich and immediately devoured it.

Crunch*

The fillet steak cooked medium rare is very soft and juicy when I chewed it. I could feel from every bite that the sweet, savory, acid, and bitter flavors blended perfectly. It was perfected with tomato jam, which has a balanced and rich taste, as well as with the bread that has been smeared with mustard mayonnaise.

"Ahhhnn~"

I covered my mouth as soon as it happened.

Holy cow!? Did I just moan like a pervert?

Was it because this dish was so good that it caused such a reaction?

"What the hell!?" "What cooking skill did I buy from the system!?"

I have to admit that the cooking skills are insanely great and preposterous, but I don't know anything about that reaction.

Since a long time ago, I have been a culinary lover and often go around trying various delicious dishes that I can afford. From street dishes to famous chefs' dishes, I've tried them all.

"Thanks to the kind director, I can taste the five-star dish when the company earns big profits."

But it never made the same reaction as before.

Tremble*

My right hand was shaking wildly as I tried to hold it in to take another piece of sandwich.

"But I really want that!"

I can't stop my hands from taking the sandwiches piecemeal.

This dish makes me unable to hold my breath because of its delicacy.

"I wonder about how Miyuki and Tatsuya will react."

"Heh..."

It's fun to imagine their reaction, and I won't let this opportunity go, hehe.

---

It doesn't feel like the day is flying by with experiences that never occurred to me to have.

After the odd dinner, I washed the dishes, went to take a warm shower, then put on my pajamas.

"Aw man... What a strange dream."

It crossed my mind that this was all a dream, but of course, this is too real to be called a beautiful dream, and people don't want to wake up and return to reality.

Puff!

I threw myself onto my soft bed.

"Umm, it seems I still don't know much about this world..."

Even though the system helped me know even a drop about this world, what could one expect from the information that could be obtained without exchanging any points at all?

"Well, it's free stuff."

Sigh... don't get your hopes up with free stuff.

"System... how can I enter First High without a test?" I know how cheating it is to have a system; it's like having access to a god's right hand that can turn fantasy into reality as long as you have points.

[The system has its ways.]

"How? Sigh… so you're not going to tell me?"

[The system has a program to automatically provide "something" to the user under certain circumstances.]

"Sigh... alright-alright, I get it, and whatever."

This topic is too tiring for now. I feel that I can sleep soon, but apparently, I'm still worried about what is going to happen, and the terrible thing that could happen to me is keeping me awake.

"Alright, I'll take a look around the system shop for a bit."

Automatically, the system screen appeared in front of me.

Then I scrolled through the screen with my index finger. The system shop is actually very simple; there are three main menu options, namely skills, powers, and others.

Skill is categorized as a normal people's skills; Power is categorized as supernatural power such as magic and others; and finally, Other is categorized as a collection of inanimate objects or living things such as I can buy weapons, information, and even random things like toothpicks; then I can also buy something alive such as servants or animals.

And last but not least, if I'm too lazy to search, I can ask the system what things I want to exchange for points, and then the system will look for them like it did when I exchanged my cooking skill for karma points.

After a brief look, it appears that my bad mood overruled my interest in the system shop.

Also, since I'm getting sleepy, maybe tomorrow morning I'll take a look at the system again.

April 1, 2095

Ring!

I was awakened by the sound of the alarm, and I realized that the sun had not yet risen from its place.

I got out of the blanket and went to the bathroom to wash away my sleepiness.

After that, I changed from my pajamas and wore all-black sportswear with my hair in a ponytail. I want this morning to be filled with warming up because I want to feel my body's fitness, and a morning run will make my mentality and mood good.

"I'm going…" Putting on my running shoes, I left the house and immediately did my morning run.

As expected, I was too strong.

It didn't take more than fifteen minutes; I had done a 10-kilometer loop without stopping and was still breathless.

"Ugh! "Just exactly how much stamina do I have?"

Maybe I sound like I'm complaining, but it's true. My mindset, which used to be that of a normal human being with a sickly body, would of course be surprised by my body, which the gods call the "Heavenly Body."

"It's my fault too. My mindset is too normal for this abnormal body." I sighed deeply about my misunderstanding.

dash*

I returned to do rounds like before—four laps at medium speed. In less than an hour, I have done a round of 50 kilometers.

"Now that was just a warm-up."

Yes, for me right now, it's a good warm-up. I stopped for a moment near a lake; apparently, I slightly exceeded my finish line, which should have been in front of the house.

'Towel.'

From my hand that was stretched upwards, a towel appeared that was like a mist with a slight spark of lightning.

"I have to admit it's cool, but can't it be a little less showy like that?" I wish every time I put something out there was no need for such a dramatic effect; I don't want to show off or stand out.

With a towel, I wipe my face and neck, which are slightly wet with sweat, but when I sweat, surprisingly, I don't give off a sour smell like my usual self. The strange thing is that my sweat is like liquid perfume with a unique fragrance because I have never smelled this fragrance before.

I sat on the edge of a lake whose surface was grassy and slanted.

Chirp* Chirp*

"Huft, but relaxing after a morning run like this isn't bad either."

My feeling after stretching and then relaxing like this is really good.

As I smile with the peace of this life, the sun rises and illuminates my lazy smile, and the sound of flying birds chirping and the cold breeze make my first morning in this world feel special.

"Hmm, this is good, but I have to get going before a lot of people." I stood up and stretched my arms up. Honestly, I don't want to spoil this mood with the gazes of other people.

"Also... the looks of perverts aren't good in the morning."

Sigh. Who doesn't like the sight of beautiful "girls" after sports? But I'm sorry to disappoint you because I'm a dude.

I walked towards my house, which is not far from the lake.

"Good morning."

On my way, I met old people because I wanted to be polite to them, so I greeted them.

"Hmm? Ah, good morning, Ojou-chan." An old aunt returned my greeting with a warm smile, like a typical mother.

Hearing this aunt call me "Ojou" made me feel a bit awkward, but since I didn't want her to have a heart attack in the morning, I didn't want to say anything about "Ojou-chan" and just smiled helplessly.

"Sigh. It's too troublesome if I have to keep correcting this misunderstanding."

It was very difficult for an ordinary person to recognize me as a boy right away.

"Unless you're a master ninja or a god of the truth, maybe you have a chance."

Huft. Huft. Huft.

Not far away, the silhouette of a person who seemed to be running could be seen from my direction.

"So there are other diligent people who like to run at this hour?" I complimented this person even though my attention only ended there.

Huft* Huft*

tap! tap!

I just ignored it and passed by the stranger without seeing him. But I feel that I know him from the presence of that stranger, but it's because I'm still relaxed and don't use my sharp senses right now.

"Are you Haku?" But my steps stopped, and I was surprised to hear that question.

I turned around and looked more closely at the face of the passer-by.

Then I stare at him and wonder why the world is so small.

"Could it be Tatsuya-kun?" I asked while pointing at him.

Why do I have to keep meeting this person?

I wonder why, of all people, it has to be this person!

"It seems that you have finished your morning run." After Tatsuya-kun recognized me, he walked closer...

"Oh? Yes, I just finished and want to go home. W-Wait a minute Tatsuya-kun! "Why are you here?" At first, I was distracted, but after realizing it, I panicked and asked important things that should have been asked first.

'Ugh! Why should I worry... My instincts told me that whenever I dealt with him, something troublesome could happen to me.

"Sigh... maybe I should calm down; it's also impolite to think like that." I gave up and calmed myself down.

"Can't I go jogging in my neighborhood?" Tatsuya, with an expressionless face, asked me while laying out another fact.

I was stunned to hear that.

"Your house is around here?"

I'm speechless.

"That's right, I'm assuming that if you're exercising this early here, your house isn't too far away?"he asked back.

"Sigh... yes, that's true, Tatsuya." I smiled helplessly at him.

With my hand on my chin, I said. "Then this is destiny, isn't it?" Fuhaha..." I attempted to dispel the awkward atmosphere by laughing while maintaining a genuine eye smile.

"If this is fate, perhaps it isn't but rather a doom." He said that with lifeless eyes and an expression.

I was still smiling, but my brows were twitching in annoyance because of his frankness.

Why can't this man read the mood?

Why would I want to be polite in the first place?

"Of course, just kidding." He grinned as he said that.

'THIS GUY...'

clap*

I'm clapping my hand and said. "Hmm, maybe this is sudden... want to join breakfast at my house? How's that? neighbors…" I invited Tatsuya to have breakfast together.

Don't get me wrong, Tatsuya. This is just my way of surviving.

I don't want to give this guy a bad impression, even though his appearance was so-so but his abilities were beyond ordinary. Maybe he's good with modern magic or something.

Also, when I saw Miyuki, it was obvious their family background was unusual; only an idiot would believe they were from an ordinary family. I knew Miyuki might be a princess who wanted to experience the commoner lifestyle.

"Because I was invited, then I don't mind." He accepted the offer without hesitation but was a bit humbled.

"AH! You should call Miyuki... I have a feeling that if you come alone, she might get angry."

Yeah, I can tell that. Don't ever piss her off.

I heard him chuckle and then smiled warmly. "You're right, Haku."

After that, he took out his cell phone and quickly typed on the screen.

"Then follow me, dear neighbor."

I turned around again and then walked towards my house, followed by Tatsuya, who was walking beside me.
