Tick~ tock~ Tick~ tock.
The echoes of clacking gears were apparent from the wooden clock situated on a table inside a relatively wide room. The sound wasn't either calming or irritating, well it all depended on the person, but alas the clock did not discriminate as it kept its steady pace, moving its gears and turning its hands around without any resistance, always prepared to show anyone the relative time they were always bound in.
A diligent person, such was the owner of this room, Time was always by her side but not in her grasp. Everything she does is always timely and on point, chores perfectly executed and within the relative time frame she has given herself, laundry always clean and ready for whenever her master needs them be at any given moment, and all the other little things she has willed to do in the little time she has given herself. Her life was scheduled perfectly and orderly, well it's to be expected of her the head maid of a modern household.
Tick~tock~Tick~tock.
The clock ticked rhythmically as seconds went and passed almost instantly, The head maid a woman of calmness and patience has taken it upon herself to just sit down and read, a little treat of relaxation if you will as this very day is her assigned day off of work and she although a person constantly bound by time has decided in this rare occasion to break free from it, by just sitting and be occupied by being mesmerized with the little book she held in her hand.
It's rare for her to be this free, she thought to herself as her boss or master decided to take a trip with their family to a beach resort somewhere and decided that everyone who was maintaining their moderately large household be given a week off. Quite impulsive of the master she thought as the amount of dust and grime that would accumulate in the week where no one would be maintaining the large house would not be a laughing matter. That would really be a lot of work to be done after they came back but alas it's just her master's way of giving their employees time off for themselves so she can't fault him to the T.
And so here she was. The head maid having done her sets of chores for today and the day after, has decided that she relax a little and read a book she has been holding off for a while, well this book although normal at a glance was somewhat an odd object to be held especially by the upright and icy head looking maid herself.
The book's contents told a story of a person being reincarnated into another world and leading a GoodLife for themselves being surrounded by women, riches, and power only one could ever dream of, the head maid only got awestruck by it. Even with the head maid's stern personality at work, people must still be reminded that the head maid was also still human who had her unbiased dreams and imaginations, and such imaginations were now playing rent-free in her head.
Well, the awe-struck expression held a different meaning persay as the imaginations being foretold are more along the lines of bull-shitery, as the head maid did not vehemently believe the absurdity of the current happenings the main character is experiencing.
'Surely one can't handle that amount of women at the same time, although I'm not one to not be inclined in being a part of a polygamic relationship as those technically in it give love to each other in the party equally, but shouldering the love of multiple people by yourself while the only thing keeping it together is you and the agreement of the members to share you is quite outrageous and surely poses a red flag!.' the head maid said mumbling because of the absurdity of the situation.
The head maid then went to think about the other absurd things that the novel offers and compared it to real life, which in retrospect shouldn't be even considered as fiction greatly deviates from reality, but here she was. In her defense, she was quite bored and hey what's the harm in giving thoughtless criticism to a thing that won't even be mentioned by her supple lips throughout the end of her time?
And so she proceeded to take her leisure time making biased claims and opinions about random things happening around the novel's plot. __________________________________

"Hnnnnnh~, puah~, it's already 3 pm, huh maybe it's a good time to prepare for dinner soon. Although it's quite early for that, I don't have much to do and the absurd novel got boring as the story progressed so that's pretty much a lost cause."
" Guess to the market it is then"
The head maid then calmly walked outside her room and went downstairs to get her basket and a bit of cash to pay for the food and goods she's gonna buy.
After going out and locking the door to her humble house she briskly went on her way to the nearby market.
Walking past houses upon houses she finally reached the road she needed to cross as the neighborhood market is right across from it. But alas things don't usually go as planned in this world traffic was heavy during these hours and many vehicles are uncaringly speeding around here and there.
Noticing this, she then went into a pedestrian lane along with random others and waited for the lights to affirm the crowd about the right time to cross the road.

' surely these rude heathen drivers know how to read stop lights right? If not I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind'.
Minutes go by as the timer slowly run out, indicating their time of passing approaching.
"Fuuuuu~~"
'almost there' she said to herself as the timer slowly run out of time. And after about a couple of minutes the lights lit up indicating their time to cross, and everyone did.
The head maid followed the crowd while looking at the stopped vehicles in the corner of her eyes, somehow approving at the stopped drivers.
' at least they have some proper decency to stop, well they should be nobody wants to be arrested for reckless driving or murder after all. '
While observing the crowd of vehicles on her right, she noticed something a little odd between the gaps of the stopped vehicles.
' A motorcycle? Why is it speeding in the gaps? Shouldn't he be waiting at the back?'
She thought as she kept observing the vehicle without a hint of it stopping.
' What has gone to that lad's mind, bastard wanna commit a un-alive or something? '
She silently thought without showing any change of face.
'well at least we already crossed the road safel......y'
As the head maid turned to check the pedestrian lane, time seemed to stop as she noticed a little girl who is still crossing the road, although she was almost close to crossing. She didn't notice the speeding motorcycle that was coming right at her.
At that brief instance of time glancing at the little girl, the head maids eyed directed straight into the speeding motorcycle to see any signs of it stopping, but there was alarmingly none. And without a second thought.
* BANG *
" KYAAAAAAAAAAA "
A body was sent flying along with a loud grazing of metal along concrete as the motorcycle went crashing into the hard cemented road.
