Why?
Why isn’t she moving?
Why isn’t she breathing?
Why? Why? WHY?
“Im sorry sir….. The mother died before she could give birth, and the baby’s body isn’t strong enough to survive outside the womb.”
Oh, I see, these are the consequences of becoming Demon King aren’t they?
“I’m giving my daughter the blessing.”
“S-sir?! You don’t mean…..”
“After I give her my blessing send her off to a newborn with high mana.”
I wish I could’ve seen my daughter, but if she can live i’ll do anything for her, even if it means sending her off as an ‘angel’ to one of those three races.
“Won’t you name her sir?”
A name? I should give her a name? Is a man like me worth of that honor? I mean, I couldn’t even save her mother…..
“Maki, I want her name to be Maki.”
“Okay sir! I’ll be sending her soul off to a newborn child!”
Maki, Once i’m able to visit you, I’ll make sure to come, and I’ll give you the proper treatment a father should….

A woman opens a door.
A newborn is crying inside of a casket with a blanket, no one around.
“Did someone abandon you here? No ones around, and I can’t just leave a baby outside….”
The woman picked up the child and brought it inside.
“A necklace?”
The baby had a necklace around its neck with the words ‘Aki’ engraved on it.
“Aki huh? Is that your name? I wonder why you were all alone outside my doorstep….”
With no way of contacting the baby’s parents, the woman kept the child in her care.
The village where the woman lived was called Rose since rose flowers grew in every garden, recently placed under command of the capital, the capital brought wealth and health to the village, and the citizens lived in peace protected by the guards from the capital.

“Aki! Aki, where are you?”
Aki was sneaking around again.
He’s a curious child of 5 years old, so it’s only common.
“There you are!”
Aki was next to a window, he’s looking outside at the streets as people pass by, some have swords on them, and others had staffs.
“Mom, why does that person have a sword?”
The woman was called Lily, but Aki calls her ‘mom’.
“That’s because he’s an adventurer, and if he has a sword that probably means his angel is a combat type.”
“Angel? Combat… type?”
“That’s right, you don’t know about angels do you, come with me Aki.”
Lily brought Aki outside, Lily was headed to a library down the road of her house, although small, the library was filled with hundreds of books.
Lily and Aki arrived at their location and entered the library, Lily picked a book and sat down.
The book was about ‘angels’ and how they worked.
“Angels are the souls of creatures, the creatures can look like a fish with horns, a horse with fins, or even a human with wings.”
Lily continued.
“There are three types of angel types: Combat angels, Spell angels, and Support angels. The combat angels grant greater physical strength, agility, and reaction speed. Spell angels allow you to cast spells according to your mana type. Support angels are a type of healer angels but they can also grant boosts to others.”
Lily closed the book and placed it back where it belonged.
Aki was a little confused but got the idea, in fact, he wanted an angel of his own.
“Mom! Mom! When do I get my own angel!”
“Everyone receives their angels when they reach 10 years old, so only a few more years, but as of right now let's head back home, the moon is starting to rise.”
Lily and Aki head back home safely, Aki falls asleep on his bed, whilst Lily read’s more books.
