“It’s been long, Emily,” I said.

“Care to join me? I am cooking,” I smiled and entered my room. I kept the provisions on the counter and a running Emily entered my room and jumped on me giving me a big hug.

I was cooking food when she came up to me and said, “what happened?”

“The meat is cooking and will take time, let's talk over a beer,” I said and passed her a mug and filled it with beer.

“It’s not cold,” she said.

I placed my hand below the 2 cups and chilled the beer using my ice magic.

“You know magic, what happened?” She said while gasping.

I told her the events of that day. “I came back to my room and laid on the bed. That’s when my mana suddenly activated and I passed out. I woke up after a week and started training. I have been training since then,” I said. I made up a half assed story. I laced my words with hypnosis and commander magic which made her believe my words.

“You see, I was very worried. I thought I lost you as well and now that I see you I was crying in vain. You have really changed Zack,” she said while sobbing.

I patted her head and checked the food. I served her and we ate together with beer. After having our fills we cleared the table and sat with our last mugs.

“You cook so well. I didn’t know. You know magic now and look at that body. Woo woo you’ve turned into a hunk,” she said clearly drunk.

She emptied her beer in a single sip and started approaching me. I knew what she wanted, I drank my beer as well and by that time she was just an inch away from me.

After a few minutes she stopped and looked at me with her big and beautiful eyes.

She closed her eyes and came in for a kiss. 

“Wait,” I said and chanted my magic to dispel her alcohol.

She was completely sobered up.

“Tell me Emily, do you love me?” I asked.

She was as red as a tomato and just nodded.

“I love you too,” I said. Her eyes widened up and she looked at me.

“Then why don’t you take me,” she said.

“I want to know your feelings sobered up. Also, I have a mission and I will be making a team of women, my women. I will make a harem and give strength to them. Do you still want to be with me?” I asked.

“It will be difficult to share you with others. So tell me, will you take care of me?”

“Yes I will, more than myself,”

“Will you tend to my health both physically and mental?”
