The fan-shaped muscles engraved in his ribs slowly waved whenever Cade moved his arm with a towel in his hand.

Several pieces of abs and protruding iliac bones settled without error below that, catching Cherryl’s eyes.

Cherryl exhaled a breath as if she was vomiting an unknown emotion.

She had no idea whether or not it was embarrassment or admiration.

It was the first time she saw his solid physique which craved attention with or without clothes.

God must have thought of the ideal man’s body and carved Cade with all his heart and soul.

His frame was so smooth and perfect as a marble statue that she suddenly had an absurd illusion.

When her eyes connected to Cade, her heart palpitated so violently that she assumed she was having a heart attack before it sank into her stomach.

“WAAH!”

Later, Cherryl screamed and turned her back on him.

It wasn’t enough, so she hurriedly covered her eyes with her hands.

Even in the midst of panic, she rolled her eyes up, down, left, and right.

At that moment, all she felt was shame.

“How can you tell me to come in when you’re not even dressed?”

Instead of replying, Cade walked along and remarked with a nonchalant snap. “Did you wash up? You smell good.”

Turning around while covering her eyes, Cherryl became conscious of his movements through her sensitive hearing.

As the closet door squealed, Cherryl guessed Cade had worn a top just now.

It felt like a long time so she tried to calm herself down.

However, it was useless to do anything since she couldn’t get rid of Cade’s thick and perfectly balanced sculpture-like physique out of her damn mind.

“You should have told me before I came in, Your Grace!” Cherryl rebuked him in a shrill voice.

“What do you mean?”

“You’re not wearing any clothes yet!”

When the closet door closed again, Cade’s voice was filled with laughter. “Oh, you must have been very offended.”

Soon, she heard a light flap of cloth.

She imagined Cade’s solid and bumpy muscles flexing as he got inside his clothes.

In order to shake off the wild imagination, Cherryl closed her eyes even more.

How could he be so calm after showing his naked body in front of her?

“Offended? No. I’m not offended at all! I just violated your privacy, Your Grace. You must have thought me rude. ”

“Then, I should be the one offended. Why are you offended on behalf of me?”

“Well, that’s right. I’m sorry.”

“You don’t have to apologize.”

“Do  you feel bad about it, Your Grace?”

“I don’t. I want to show you all of me. Whether it’s private or not.”

The sound of footsteps, not slow or fast, approached her.

A whiff of him was approaching her way.

Cade grabbed Cherryl’s shoulder, turned her towards him, and took her hands, tightly covering her eyes, off.

Only then did their gazes, holding different emotions, collided.

Cade had changed into a clean white shirt.

His black hair was still moist but his masculine scent seemed stronger than usual, constantly touching the tip of her nose.

She couldn’t believe that she and Cade were facing each other in his bedroom right now, sharing each other’s delicious fragrance after washing up.

She was running out of breath for nothing as dry saliva flowed down her throat.

“Are you mad at me, Lady Cherryl?”

“No, it’s just….”

The sight of him made her heart flutter and secretly desiring a lot of physical contact with him made her feel embarrassed.

She wouldn’t dare speak of this out loud.

She had never experienced this before she met Cade.

She had never even met a man as attractive as he was but….

“Please don’t be angry with me, Lady Cherryl. If this happens again next time, I’ll let you know that I’m undressed in advance before I let you enter.”

“That’s a little… No. I wasn’t that offended. Don’t worry about it, Your Grace.”

It didn’t make sense for Cade to show his naked body, but it didn’t make sense for Cherryl to be offended.

“Come here.”

He took Cherryl’s hand and led her to bed.

Cade looked strangely happy today.

Maybe it’s because of the gift he prepared.

As she followed the fascinating man, Cade plopped down at the edge of the bed and burrowed his head in Cherryl’s stomach.

He hugged her so gently as she stood there.

A careful yet insistent force seemed to clasp around Cherryl.

Soon, the fragrant water in Cade’s hair was soaking her thin dress.

“Can I hug you?”

Cade replied with a smile.

“You’re already holding me.”

A brief silence had passed between them before Cherryl settled her arm around his broad shoulders.

She slowly swept his black hair down after taking the courage to follow her urge and touch it at least once.

Cade dug deeper into her arms.

“You’re not asking me anything?”

“What?”

His head was lowered, so she couldn’t tell what expression he was making.

“You know what I’m talking about. Are you sure you don’t want to ask me anything?”

Was he referring to the widespread rumor about his scandal in the past?

His chin lifted as he glanced up at Cherryl.

The large man had an innocent gaze as if he was longing for affection.

It was always Cherryl who had no choice but to look up at him due to height differences.

Now that the familiar position had been reversed, an emotion that cannot be easily defined was eroded in her head.
