Luo Yinan said leisurely, “You don’t want to eat anymore?”
Pei Qing gulped down several more cups of water before leaning over the table and nodding repeatedly.
Luo Yinan nodded. “Since you don’t want to eat anymore, then tell me: What do you know?”
Only then did Pei Qing finally understand what she had done. She was taking revenge on him for leaving her hanging before this.
Even though he had been tricked, he wasn’t angry at all. The miserable expression on his face disappeared and he chuckled. “Third Young Miss Luo is really interesting.”
Luo Yinan wasn’t polite and nodded. “Thank you for the compliment.”
Pei Qing didn’t beat around the bush, and said directly, “Luo Fusheng registered a company overseas and didn’t tell anyone about it.”
Many businesses did register companies overseas, but keeping it secret was a different thing. Luo Yinan frowned.
Pei Qing continued, “Do you want to know the name of the company he registered overseas?”
Luo Yinan looked at him without saying anything.
Pei Qing smiled and said, “As long as Third Young Miss Luo becomes my girlfriend, I’ll tell you. How about it?”
Luo Yinan’s expression turned cold. She picked up her bag and walked right out.
Pei Qing hurriedly stood up and shouted, “The condition is still negotiable. If you really can’t, watch a movie with me. Don’t leave.
“Third Young Miss Luo, Luo Yinan, Yinan, Nan Nan —”
Luo Yinan abruptly stopped.
Pei Qing was a little smug. He flashed his trademark smile and asked, “How about it?”
Luo Yinan turned around to look at him. “Your smile is so ugly.”
With that, she raised her head haughtily and left.
Pei Qing was rooted to the spot and the smile on his face froze. Then, he chuckled. “This Third Young Miss Luo is really interesting. I’m even more interested now.”
She was just like a proud peacock; who knew what it would be like the moment it lowered its proud head?
The interest in his eyes deepened as the waitress stepped forward and said, “Young Master Pei, your bill.”
Pei Qing reverted back to his playboy self in the next second. He coolly took out a card and handed it over. He whistled at the same time and said, “Sorry to trouble you, pretty lady. There’s no password on it.”
The waitress blushed and accepted the card shyly. Before she left, she even turned to give him a reluctant look. Pei Qing naturally wouldn’t disappoint the girl, and he blinked lightly.
The waiter walked away bashfully.
When Luo Yinan reached the door, she saw Luo Qianqian skulking around outside. She raised her eyebrows and asked, “Why are you here?”
Luo Qianqian replied without thinking, “It has nothing to do with you.”
Luo Yinan nodded. “You’re right.”
With that, she was about to leave.
Luo Qianqian was stumped. That was it? Shouldn’t she curse her back? Then, they would clash and Pei Qing would see Luo Yinan’s ugly side.
No, she couldn’t let her go.
She grabbed Luo Yinan’s arm and said, “Don’t go.”
Luo Yinan looked at the hand on her arm, and her expression turned cold. She pulled her arm away. She clearly didn’t use much strength, but Luo Qianqian plopped right down on the floor and cried, “Little Sister, do you hate me that much?”
Luo Yinan’s eyes flashed with understanding when she saw Pei Qing walk out the door.
Sure enough, Luo Qianqian sounded even more aggrieved when Pei Qing appeared. “Little Sister, why did you push me away? I know you don’t like me, but you can’t be like this, sob —”
As she spoke, she even started crying. She really looked like a weeping beauty.
Pei Qing walked over and asked, “What’s going on?”
Luo Qianqian sobbed and spoke first. “I came here to eat, and ran into Little Sister. When I greeted her, I didn’t expect her to actually… She actually… sob —”
By trailing off, she made it sound like Luo Yinan had done something to her.
Luo Yinan frowned. So noisy.
Pei Qing frowned and said coldly, “Third Young Miss Luo, is that the case?”
