Chapter 1: 1- Reincarnation circus

Wan Ne slowly woke up. He felt slippy and confused.

" I thought that I died" He le out a sight.

He clearly remembered that moment went a car came crashing against him, under the stupefied gazes of the crowd.

Wan Ne knew that it was not exactly the driver fault.

He was crossing the road when he suddenly felt a strong headache. It was so painfully that he had been unable to move at the time. He could only helplessly look at the car that was quickly approaching him.

" I should have listened to the doctor advice to not overexercise myself" Wan Ne concluded.

He had been plagued with these headache for the past few years, treating them as best as he could and ignoring the pain as best as he could.

But when it came to not overwork himself, Wan Ne had been completely useless. The working industries has become more and more competitive during the past few years. The employer were always asking more from their employees.

They could only adhere to these new rules or they will be fired and join the 60% of unemployed people in the country.

Wan Ne was just in his early twenties but he still had some responsabilities as the first born of his family with low income.

" And I am still a virgin, will I become a sage?

No! There  is definitely something wrong" it was at that moment that His eyes suddenly cleared up and he discovered the severity of the situation.

He had definitely died during that car accident, but how could be standing here? 

" Is this the afterlife?"

As his eyes cleared up, Wan Ne discovered something that he had ignored until now, perhaps because of his strange steps.

He was not alone. They were in a middle of what seemed like a circus tent. There about a dozen of people.

" Twelve people!" Wan Ne muttered After counting.

The other people seemed to be in the same predicament.

There were three elderly men, seven middle-aged men and Two young men, Wan Ne included.

" Did they die like me?" Wan Ne thought as he inspected them.

Some were trying to keep ça, some were vigilantly looking around, some were patting themselves examining themselves.

" How come I am still alive?" One of the middle aged men cried out.

" You! You died too?" Someone else asked.

" Are we in heaven?"

" Or in hell?" One of the elderly asked in doubt.

Wan Ne could feel his heart beating crazily in the middle of his chest as the mysteries of life and death seemed to unfurl before him.

Wan Ne shook his eyes, chasing these wild thoughts off.

It was at that time that he saw the entrance of the tent move and a young man entered.

" A Chinese man?" Wan Ne thought wen he saw the man.

Among the people that had been in the tent before, there were two black people, Two White people and two Easterners. Wan Ne had not noticed anything out of place about them.

But the newcomers has something different. He was not burly but looked strong and was handsome. He had black hairs, and was dressed casually with a white shirt and a pair of black pants.

More importantly, he was walking as if he owned the place.

It seemed like he was not the only one who had assumed that.

" Gentleman? Does our presence here, have something to do with you? " a middle aged man with short grey hairs and sharp eyes asked.

Everyone looked at him, as he had been the first to talk before anyone had dared too. He was standing straight, and while he seemed as confused as everyone he was the calmest like a natural born leader.

" Yes, where are we?" 

" What have you done to us?"

" Can you explain, Sir?"

......

Voice could be heard from everywhere.

Seeing this the young man frowned.

" Shut up!" The young man Valmy said.

But as if a spell had been cast, everyone present seemed to feel a pression from the depth of the soul. it struck fear to one being.

Some fell on their asses, on their knees.

There were only two people still, standing up. Wan Ne was surprised to find that he was one of them, but he had taken at least two step back and was now sweating profusely.

The middle aged situation seemed somewhat better.

The young man looked at the middle man, not too surprised, but as he looked at Wan Ne, a Hint of surprise appeared on his face.

" To answer your question, as you have guessed, you are all dead people.

This place is called the reincarnation circus, I used it in order to summon your souls" the young man explained.

" What will you do that sir?" The grey haired middle aged "man asked softly.

" Who are you Sir?" Wan Ne asked instinctively. 

The devil perhaps? 

After saying that, he flinched remembering that The devil young man could summon that strange sensation again.

" Who I am does not matter" the young man smiled.

" As for the reason why I summoned you all, it is simple. I am in need for talented people. If I judge you useful I can make you return among the living" 

Hearing this Wan Ne gulped audibly.

" what do we have to do in exchange, what rice do we have to pay?" The middle aged man asked, his gaze solemn...

" You will just have to work for me?" The young man answered with the same grin still on his face.

" As vague as one could be!" Wan Ne started to curse mentally.

There were no mention of the job that they had to do.

Will we have to work for him for the rest of our life or for the rest of eternity since he can just revive us?

What kind of job, will he give us, something against our own conscience?

" What if we don't want to work for you?" The other young man who had finally recovered his bearings asked.

" You can just exit the tent, but I do not recommend you that.

I can make you reach beyond what you can imagine..."

" I don't want to stay there. This things is crazy. I do not want to be servant of the devil" the young man said before running toward the exit. 

But as soon as he went through a bright light struck his body.

He cried like a pig, that was getting skinned and roasted alive as the light desentagrated him.

Everyone shuddered after witnessing this scene.

The young man, with his last once of sanity cried to turn back only to be blocked by a kind of forcefield who covered the circus tent.

" I forgot to mention that. In your soul form, you can not exit the reincarnation circus or you will die miserably and your soul will get destroyed.

Consider it properly.

The young man's grin casted a shadow on everyone heart.

At this moment, Wan Me was going through another internal debates.

" I have been kissing the ass of my boss through out these years, and what did I obtain?

I have acted like a dog, I did not pursue the person that I loved because I was afraid of my boss whose son was after her.

I have enough, I will not let someone control my life anymore" 

After thinking for a moment, Wan Me started to walk toward the exit under the dumb full gaze of everyone else.

As soon as he was out of the circus temptation, He felt the murderous light coming toward him.

As he bathed inside, he felt pain worst than anything his body has ever experienced.

It made him think about the mythical flame of hell.

" But who had not experienced pain in his life?

Losing one's pride and one love is the greatest suffering" 

A smile appeared on Wan Ne's face as he continued to walk while fighting the pain with the pain.

He could not see anything, he did not even know how many bits of his body remained, and at some points, he started to lose the notion of space, time, and self. Wan Ne said something but even he did not know what it was.

In the middle of the tent, the other men looked in the direction of the entrance in shock.

"  Crazy!" Someone said.

Everyone else nodded, even the young man who had seemed like the god of this world gulped loudly.
