The third floor of the martial arts library seemed as peaceful as ever.

A somewhat old-looking green-robed man with a lean figure was sitting in front of a desk.

He was holding, onto a brush, writing and drawing on the page before him.

Strangely, the tip of the brush had no ink. It was shining with a deep purple glow. The purple light seemed to sip into the page forming various words full of wisdom, and drawings depicting animals or figure executing various kinds of moves.

After some time the old man, the glow disappeared and the old man stopped writing. He had a frown on his face as he looked at his works, whit an unsatisfied expression.

"  Writing a spiritual-level martial arts manual is a waste of my time.

Sadly, the Lin clan is mortal, they can not handle anything more.

If not, for that man, I will not lower myself to this level" the old man let out a deep sigh that echoed throughout the third floor. There was a trace of sadness on his face.

But suddenly, the old man's expression changed, his dispirited expression changed to a look of surprise.

" He had already practiced it to this level, in such a short amount of time!"

The old man's eyes wersuffwewere re-suffused with a purple glow as he looked at the floor. His gaze seemed to pierce through, the solid material of the building before finally landing on a young man.

The boy had a lean body, almost looking thin, he had short black hair and eyes of the same color. He was also wearing simple clothes as he moved his hands as if he was holding onto an invisible saber. As time passed, this movement became faster and faster and as the boy slashed the sound of the air being cut could be heard clearly.

The old man could also feel the spiritual energy moving in the boy's body, and he recognized that pattern.

"Human-level martial arts, matchless saber art, such a good comprehension ability "

Seemingly interested, the man waved his hands and a thick book floated from one of the bookshelves before landing in front of him magically and turning itself on the last used page.

On it were written the name of the participants of the last Martial spirit awakening ceremony.

The old man was not present when Wan Ne had registered before entering the martial arts library.

But the old man did not seem confused at all. He looked at the entry corresponding to a specific name before sighing.

' Wan Ne:

Affiliation: a member of the branch family ( Blue Sky City)

Potential: lowest one-star yellow ring

Martial spirit: black-eyed shadow holding a saber'

Reading this the old man sighed.

" It seems like I got excited about nothing. He was just relying on the compatibility between his martial spirits and this particular martial art to learn it quickly"

After saying that, the elder moved his attention to the other boy on the first floor, then to the one on the second floor.

" Howling wolf? He is learning a spiritual level martial arts? Not bad" the old man commented before finally returning to his task.

Calm returned to the third floor of the martial arts library.

********

On the first floor of the library, Wan Ne was waving his hands faster and faster according to the teaching in the manual.

He could feel the power behind his move and for a he felt the urge to hold onto a saber and slash at something.

Sadly, he could not do so at the moment, as he was still in the library.

" The method of this world s magical" Wan Ne suddenly exclaimed.

He was initially skeptical as to how one could learn martial art from a book In two hours. It is only now, that he understood how shortsighted he has been.

The martial spirit world as Wan Me had decided to call it, seemed to have a wonder that was difficult to comprehend for someone from Earth whose understanding relied on science.

At least, Wan Ne had lived in this world for more than 15 years before awakening his memories, so he had an easier time accepting these things.

Putting the martial arts manual " matchless saber" at his original place, Wan Ne went to see the area reserved for movement technics.

" I still have some time,"  Wan Me thought before familiarly taking a manual from the shelf.

' Lunging beast '

Wan Ne was already familiar with the description of this martial art so he no longer looked at it.

Instead, he opened the book and started to read the content.

The same strange feeling from before came again as he started to read.

These words seemed to have a strange charm to them. Sometimes, Wan Ne was able to understand their meanings, other times not. Even stranger, When he tried to remember these words, they seemed to disappear from his mind.

The number of times he reread, did not matter, it simply seemed impossible.

But as Wan Ne continued to read, some knowledge started to organize itself in his mind.

He suddenly knew how to push his body in any direction, at an incredible speed, using his spiritual energy to increase his speed even more.

As long as he was in contact with a surface, he could use it, and the better one mastery, the greater the speed.

As time passed, the abysmal amount of spiritual energy started to move, following a certain pattern, going toward the sole of his foot sometimes.

Wan Me knew that if he wanted, he only had to push his spiritual energy toward his feet a little harder and he will fly forward.

He had also obtained knowledge as to how to mitigate his momentum and mitigate it.

Wan Be suddenly felt tired as the amount of spiritual energy in his body was consummated.

" I am still too weak," Wan Ne thought but his excitation did not lessen as he had just experienced one of the uses of his martial spirit.

While these books were magical and could seemingly inject knowledge into somewhat brain even though,  the spiritual energy in his body will also instantly move in his body according to the right pattern.

The reason for the last phenomenon was the second skill that he obtained thanks to his martial spirit ' battle instinct'.

When Wan Be deactivated it, he could not move the spiritual energy in his body anymore, he was then forced to move it step by step according to the knowledge that he received.

Wan Ne was completely immersed in learning martial art skill, but this time, he was not using ' Battle instinct'. But thanks to their experience, of using it, it could be said that he had a guide.

It was at that time that a raspy voice was heard, sounding right behind him.

" time is up" Wan Ne clearly heard him, but there was no one around.

" What kind of method are these" Wan Ne thought.

leaving the library, he felt a little sad, but he was still happy thanks to the great harvest.

When he was leaving, he saw Li Kai coming down from the second floor.

He seemed pensive, and even when Lu Gu tried to offer some flattering words, he stopped him.

Wan Ne did not know why, but he felt that Li Kai had changed somehow.
