Smoke was rising above the city of Milan. Sounds of Muskets and cannons echoed throughout the sky, and the citizens were running for their lives. Mothers were frantically searching for their children, men tried to support the soldiers in the walls, it was all chaos.
France had invaded Milan, bringing their cannons, muskets, and swords with them.
Meanwhile, the Eternals, who had gathered in Milan, were watching the siege unfold through their very eyes, and some were not happy.
Phastos was watching it in the middle of the streets as cannonballs were flying through the air, he clenched his fist so hard, but didn’t say anything.
“This is your so-called evolutionary process, Phastos?” questioned Druig sarcastically. “Them killing each other?”
“Conflict can breed advancements, Druig, even if it means many casualties.” said Phastos, voice cracking.
“Those blackpowders you taught them are dangerous, Phastos.” added Druig. “You may have been the downfall of humanity itself… those things… kill people quickly.”
“Yes Phastos.” frowned Ajak. “It may have been a mistake to teach them that the killing rate of that thing is no joke towards normal humans.”
“It doesn’t matter, Ajak.” answered Phastos. “They will quicken their advancements in technology to combat this new way of war, and in turn, it will develop them even more.”
Ajak just sighed, while Druig just kept staring at the running civilians, he had the urge to just stop it all once again, but as always, Ajak stopped him.
“Stop, Druig, we can’t interfere in their wars.” said Ajak softly.
“I’m tired of hearing that word Ajak.” said Druig coldly. “I’ve lost count on how many times you have said that to me.” He looked at the army in front of them once more, before turning away, calming himself down.
“Druig.” called Ajak, but he didn’t turn.
Ajak looked at the army too, she sighed, before turning away from it, along with Phastos.

Pluto and Thena were helping the citizens evacuate. They helped them transport their things, smuggling them outside the city.
But, Pluto noticed that Thena was out of it. As they ran across the street, Pluto saw Thena suddenly stopped, freezing in place.
Pluto looked at her, and saw cosmic energy leaking out of her face. Her eyes changed from pale white to normal again and again, as if something was wrong with her.
“Thena, are you okay?” questioned Pluto in worry, he cupped her face, but she didn’t answer, she was still in a trance.
“Thena, Thena?!” shouted Pluto in front of her face, trying to make her snap out of it. “Thena, stay with me here, please!”
Thena then snapped out of it, looking confused, as she saw Pluto looking at her with worry.
“W-What just happened?” she stuttered in confusion.
“You’re spacing out.” answered Pluto, caressing her face.
“I- I don’t know what happened.” she said, a bit worried at herself. “D-Did I do something?”

“No, no you didn't, you just spaced out of nowhere.”
“I- I don’t remember…”
Pluto clenched his fist. “It’s okay Thena, let’s just go.”
Thena nodded meekly, before running again.
But then, when they were traversing the street, Pluto saw a man, desperately trying to bring his things. Paintings, manuscripts, bags, everything.
“Hey, what are you doing?!” shouted Pluto, running towards him, as well as Thena. “The city is under attack and you want to bring that much?!”
“But this is precious, friend!” refuted the man, still desperately bringing everything. “My paintings… my designs…”
Pluto looked at Thena, before sighing. “Let me help you.”
“Ah, Thank you!”
Pluto then helped the man with his paintings and manuscripts. Pluto looked at one of the manuscripts, and saw strange designs from it.
Pluto raised his eyebrow. “Did you make this?” he asked while quickly running towards the evacuation spot.
“Y-Yes.” said the man. “It’s my life’s work.”
“What’s your name?” asked Pluto once again.
“Ah! forgive me, Leonardo da Vinci, at your service.” smiled the man.
Pluto just nodded, before running away with the man. A couple of minutes later, they had gathered with the other Eternals, and they were looking at Leonardo with confusion.
“Who’s this?” asked Phastos.
Pluto just gave him one of Leonardo’s manuscripts, and said. “Leonardo da Vinci.”
Phastos looked at the design, and his eyes widened, he looked at Leonardo Da Vinci, and frowned.
Pluto raised his eyebrow once again at Phastos’s reaction. But then, a cannonball was coming towards them dead on. Leonardo panicked, but Pluto just grabbed the cannonball with his hand, the ball still red from the heat, but he managed it.
“Phastos, I’m quite annoyed that you taught these people to throw pebbles like this… but I guess it’s necessary…”
Meanwhile, Leonardo looked pale. “H-How did you do that, friend?” he stuttered.
Pluto just smiled at him, and said. “I’m good at catching things.”
