[Lower Egypt, 3600 BCE]
We flew around modern day Memphis, and we saw a relatively developing settlement, it has farmlands, fields that livestock can graze in, and a bustling ‘town’.
“This time, we shouldn’t land.” Sprite surprisingly said.
“What? Why?” Thena questioned.
“We made a mistake during the first encounter.” Sprite said. “They’re a bit hostile and fearful of us.”
“What did you do?” I questioned.
“Nothing.” She said, “It’s just that they attacked us first for some reason, probably because they saw Ikaris fly...”
“What about the deviants here?”
“We hunted them of course...” Sprite answered. “It’s just that we need to be a bit silent about it.”
“Any information on the culture?”
“Yeah, some of them decided to make the deviants gods.” Sprite said. “Because they hope that if they worship them, the deviants wouldn’t attack them.”
“That’s just sad...” I murmured. “But are the deviants all dead now?”
“It should be.”
“Let’s see.” I then summoned Camazotz, and commanded it to search for deviants, it used its echolocation ability, and flew away from us.
“Follow Camazotz.” I told the winged deviant that we’re riding.
“Where are we going?” Sprite asked, frowning while looking at me.
“Looks like there’s still some deviants left, are you sure Phastos was right about the numbers?”
“I mean, he said he’s 70 % sure...”
“Then you got those 30%”
We flew away from Memphis, following the Camazotz.
“Looks like it’s those invisible Deviants.” Thena commented as we arrived at the scene, looking at the barely visible deviants. “I’ll go.”
“You sure?” I asked.
She nodded, and she gracefully jumped from the winged deviant, conjuring her usual halberd.
She then landed in the middle of the herd, and the invisible deviants tried to attack her using their stingers, but she quickly used her shield to protect herself, blocking the sharp needles of the deviants.
She then thrust her halberd to the nearest deviant, revealing and killing it instantly. She threw the corpse to the herd, and revealed all of them.
There were around six of them, including the ones who’s dead.
She summoned her shield and halberd, making a stance in front of the deviants.
The deviants ran towards her, and used their stingers to attack her.
Once the stingers are close, she uses her shield to push the stingers to the ground, nailing it to it, and using her halberd, she cuts all of them, making the deviants stingerless.
She then changed her weapons into a great axe, and she jumped to one of the deviants and slammed the axe to it, splitting them in half.
At this point, she was soaking in deviant blood, and her face had a wide smile. Sprite was looking at the fight rather excitedly, as she forgot how Thena fought.
There were four of them left, four stingerless deviant.
Because they don’t have their stingers anymore, they tried to pounce Thena using their sharp fangs, but that didn’t work either…
Thena summoned a spear in her left hand, and once a deviant tried to pounce her, she impaled the deviant using her spear, instantly killing it.
As soon as the other deviants saw this, they became afraid, and they turned away from Thena, running for their lives.
“Let me get that.” I said, I jumped from the winged deviant, and before I landed, I summoned Ammit, landing on top of it’s head. I commanded Ammit to eat one of the corpses, and it did, feeling its stomach full of cosmic energy.
I told Ammit to shoot it to the remaining deviants, and a wave of golden energy burst from Ammit’s mouth to the location of the running deviants, making a hole on their stomachs.

“What was that!” Sprite exclaimed. “I don’t remember you having that kind of power...”
I just smirked. “I’m just built differently.” I said, making her snort.
“Is that all?” Thena questioned as she cleaned herself.
I looked towards Camazotz, and saw that it didn’t move anymore. “Yep, that’s all, nice work.”
I patted her back, and she smiled at me, I then jumped towards the winged deviant again, and Thena followed me of course.
“Where are we going next?” I asked.
“Nothing, it’s the end of the trip,” said Sprite.
I hummed. “Then let’s go back.”
We then flew towards the direction of the Domo, finishing the trip.
---
On the way towards the Domo, Sprite was looking at me and Thena strangely.
“What?” I questioned.
“Are you two a thing?” she questioned, making me and Thena looked at each other.
A couple of seconds later, I burst out laughed in front of Sprite, while Thena just chuckled.
“Me and her? No no no no no.” I shook my head laughing. “I’d die of strangulation before I could get into her pants.”
“Look at him.” Thena continued while chuckling, she’s grabbing my thin arms, showing it to Sprite. “He’s so thin and frail, it’s just sad...”
“Wait what?” Sprite was confused. “I thought you two were a thing...”
“No.” We shook our heads in unison. “There’s no way.”
“Huh… then you like someone else?” she questioned us.
“No one in particular at the moment...” We both answered. “Why?”
“Nothing.” she murmured. “I just want to ask how it feels to like someone...”
“Well, you ask the wrong group of people.” I chuckled. “Is this about Ikaris?”
“What?” Sprite was surprised. “What does Ikaris have to do with this?”
“No reason.” I shrugged, Thena also was looking at me curiously. “I thought you have a crush on Ikaris.”
“A crush?” Sprite asked again, her ‘annoying’ personality is broken right now, replaced by a slightly shy one.
“What I mean is that you like him romantically...” I murmured.
“I- I’m not...” she mumbled, but soon she didn’t say anything, thinking thoughtfully, she was quiet for the rest of the ride, making me and Thena shrug.
---
Once we’ve arrived at the Domo, Sprite left us without saying anything, still in her thoughtful look, whilst me and Thena went to Ajak, to report our discovery.
“There’s still deviants?” She questioned. “Phastos, have you made a mistake?”
“Like I said, I’m 70% sure.” Phastos said. “That means that we got the 30% chance.”
“Then we need to check again.” Ajak frowned. “Can you do it Pluto?”
“Look, I’d rather rest right now.” I said, surprising her. “I’ve been on a journey for almost a millenia, so I’d rather just stay put and rest, what about you Thena?”
“I’ll go.” She said, “Have a good rest then.”
I hummed, and I walked to my room that I haven’t slept in in almost a millenia, I rest on the bed, and closed my eyes… not that we need sleep.
