The masked man was silent for a second. He touched his earphone, and spoke. “We have some problems here, bring her here first.”

As he said that, the masked man walked to the shield and stared at Helios deeply. He took out a device from his pocket, and showed it to the boy.

“Listen here you spoiled brat. We don’t have much time. Follow us, or we’ll blow up this whole damn building.”

“I just said that I will go with you if you don’t attack my schoolmates.” said Helios calmly, but secretly he was cursing that his thoughts were right.

“I need an assurance that you won’t attack my men,” he said. “But no matter, the secondary target has been secured, that’s an assurance enough. If you do anything, we will kill her.”

“Kill her?” Helios frowned.

“You should be familiar with her… Maya Hansen…” he said with a chuckle that made Helios clench his fist. “Now let’s go.”

Helios was silent, before he took a step, passing through the barrier easily. The men quickly handcuffed him, and he gave no resistance. Helios turned around, only to see Gwen’s face that looked really red, trying to not to cry, he saw Peter’s face, a look of desperation and anger filled it.

Helios was quickly pushed away, dragged to the outside of the hall. As he exited the school, he could only see two cars parked in front of the school. He could see that there was a woman held in gunpoint in front of the door of the car.

“What the feck’s taking so long? He’s just a kid.” the man that was holding the woman said. “We don’t need to kill the woman if he rebels or something.”

“He’s a richman’s kid.” said the man in a matter-of-fact tone. “Tony Stark can make machines for war, apparently this one’s dad injected his kid with a wizard serum or something.”

“You serious?” The man looked at Helios weirdly, he just stared at him back, and something about the kid’s eyes made the man shiver. “W-Whatever, get in kid.”

Helios then was pushed to the car along with Hansen, with the two men following along. As soon as all of them got in, the man hit the car, and the car moved. The men stared at Hansen for quite a while, before putting off their masks.

“Hello Hansen, looking beautiful as before. The Serum must’ve worked wonders for you.” the man besides Helios said sarcastically.

Hansen didn’t say anything, she instead responded with a glare.

“Ooh… feisty.” the man laughed. “You think you can beat us with your virus that isn’t built for combat.”

“Unlike you, I don’t inject myself with such precious things. It could save lives, instead you use it to take it.” said Hansen.

“I’m surprised you got those pacifist ideas Hansen, working with Smith must’ve softened you.” he said. “I remember you used to try to please the boss so much for your ‘petty’ revenge against Stark.”

“I’ve simply grown up.” she said calmly. “How about you?”

The man just chuckled and ignored Hansen’s insult. He then took out his phone and called someone.

“We got the two of them boss, you can proceed with the plan now.” he said to the phone, and quickly turned it off.

The car simply continued to advance, and Helios was just sitting there silently. The man once again broke the silence by asking Helios about something.

“So, kid, how’d you do all that?” he said, looking at the boy curiously, thinking that he’s safe.

“My father sacrificed a god’s fetus so that I can do all that.” he said with a straight face, making the man laugh.

“You have some sense of humour for a rich kid,” he said jokingly. He then took off his glove and grabbed Helios’s arm. “Let's see what else you can do.”

“What are you doing?” asked the other man with a frown. “The boss told us to not hurt him.”

“A couple of wounds will be fine,” he said. “Besides, if he does something, just shoot Hansen there, we’re in a moving car anyway.”

The man’s palm glowed, and he clenched Helios’s arm tightly. But the man didn’t expect that Helios’s face didn’t show any reaction, but instead he was raising his brow.

The man loosened his grip, and checked his ‘piece of work’... but… nothing… no burn marks at all…

The man frowned as he looked at Helios alarmingly, “What the hell are you?”

But Helios just shrugged. “Like I said, my father sacrificed a god’s fetu so that I can do all this.”

The man obviously didn’t believe it and turned to Hansen. “You know about this?”

“So what if I knew?” said Hansen, but she herself was surprised at the sight.

The man grumbled. “Put your gun at Hansen’s head, this kid’s no joke.” he said to the other man, and continued to watch Helios intently.

Meanwhile, Helios closed his eyes as if he was resting.

But then, a voice suddenly spoke in his mind.

[Don’t do anything, you did the right thing, your mother’s coming.]

Helios then smirked, his eyes still closed. “You guys are so dead.”
