We are now walking through the hallways of King Minos’s palace. The girl, Ariadne, was leading us towards the throne room, where her father is.

I looked around, and saw that the palace is decorated with a bunch of bull skulls, bull drawings, bull carvings, and bull statues…

“First virgins… now bulls… what is wrong with people…” I murmured.

Theseus heard what I said and commented. “These Cretans are obsessed with bulls… I even heard that the minotaur exists because the king’s wife laid with a white bull…”

I looked at the boy weirdly. “And you believe that?”

“No, of course not.” he shook his head. “I don’t believe that the king’s wife gave birth to the minotaur, but I believed that the king’s wife fucked a white bull once…”

I just sighed… “Humans and their horniness…”

Ariadne, who was in front of us, suddenly stopped in front of a giant door. “We’re here.” she said.

She then looked at the guards who were guarding the door and commanded. “Open the door, I want to see father.”

The guards frowned. “Princess, may we know who these people are?”

“They’re my guests.” said the princess vaguely. “Just open it will you?”

“But princess, we need to check if-”

“Open. The door.” said the princess sharply, cutting off the guards.

The guards just sighed. “Very well, princess.”

The guards then opened the door slowly, making a creaking sound, as the door was quite big.

As the door opened, it revealed a rather luxurious throne room, for the time at least. The room again was filled with bulls-like decorations, gold and silver everywhere, and a lot of topless women…

“Well, well, well… Look who’s here.” said a rather loud voice, coming from the throne itself.

Suddenly, all the attention was focused on us, especially me and the boys…

Theseus didn’t seem to realize that he’s being ignored, so he coughed rather loudly. “Are you King Minos?”

The king stood up from his throne, and he walked towards us, towards me. Theseus tried to stand in his way, but the king just pushed the boy away.

“The Sailors of Argos have come to Knossos… What do you seek here, heroes?” he said to me.

What? The sailors of Argos? “We’re not from Argos, we’re from Athens.”

The king chuckled rather arrogantly. “Really? Black robes with silver linings, a giant man with a unique eye shape, a brown man that looks funny, and a rather cold-faced man… if my story tellers are correct, then you must be the Argonauts right?”

“I don’t know who the Argonauts are, but we’re not them.” I shook my head. “We’re here to ‘help’ the boy.”

“Boy?” The king then turned to Theseus, who was fuming because he’s being ignored. “You mean this boy?”

Theseus was really annoyed that he’s being ignored. “I am here to talk to you about my people’s freedom.” the boy said with gritted teeth.

“Freedom?” The king questioned. “Athenians want freedom?” The king then laughed, and his court soon also laughed. “Tell me why I should grant you that?”

The king then walked to the boy and grabbed his clothes, pulling his face near his. “Prove to me that your people are powerful enough to be free, then I’ll release your people.”

Theseus clenched his fists and grit his teeth. He then spit on the king’s face and said. “I’ll kill your so-called minotaur, and I’ll have my people’s freedom.”

The king didn’t mind the spit and just cleaned it off. “Boy, you are so thin that I could crush you with my bare hands, never mind the minotaur. Just go home to your pathetic city.”

“Give me a chance.” Theseus insisted. “And I’ll bring you the monster’s head.”

“I don’t want you to kill the monster boy.” said the king sharply. “The minotaur is a symbol of our power, just deliver the sacrifice and go home.”

The boys and girls of Athens who heard that suddenly became afraid, and they looked like they were about to piss themselves.

But then, someone interrupted. “Why don’t you give him a chance father?” said Ariadne. “It’s not like he’ll succeed anyway.”

The king then turned to his daughter, and raised his eyebrow. “What are you talking about Ariadne? It’s just a waste of time.”

“But it’ll be for my entertainment.” Ariadne shrugged. “Come on father, you never let me out of the palace, it’s boring here, let me have some fun…”

“Ariadne-”

“And these heroes will also accompany you.” continued Ariadne while pointing at us, much to our despair… “You said it yourself right father? They’re the Argonauts… they can stay here while these Athenians try to kill the monster.”

The king pondered for a while, he looked at the athenians and us back and forth, thinking about his choices.

Then, he nodded. “Fine, the Athenians have a week, if they can’t kill the minotaur within that time, the sacrifice will still continue, if they can actually kill it, they will be free… after they get out of the island…”

The Athenians, especially Theseus, were overjoyed when they heard the king’s words, but they were a bit cautious about the last part…

“Then you can start now.” The king waved it off. “While these gentlemen right here stay with me in the court, servants! Bring the food and drink!”

“I’m telling you, we’re not the Argonauts.” I insisted. “You’ve got the wrong guy.”

“You’re Jason right?” the king questioned. “The one with the golden fleece?”

I looked at the king weirdly. “No, I don’t have that…” but I do have a golden army…

“You can’t hide anything from me, heroes.” The king shook his head, seemingly convinced that I have the fleece. “I know you have it. I need to use it.”

“What for?”

“It is my private business.”

“We need to know what you need to use it for before we give it to you.” Kingo suddenly said, lying.

“So you do have it.” the king smiled and nodded. “Very well, come with me.”

We were then escorted by the king to a private chamber. It’s quite big, and again, a lot of bulls decorations.

“Okay, so why do you need it?” Kingo questioned. “Is your wife sick or something… because you know… rumours say she nailed a bull, can’t imagine how sick she is now…”

The king frowned as Kingo said that… “My wife did not bring a bull to bed…”

“Of course she didn’t, the bed would probably be destroyed if they did it in bed.” Kingo continuously baited the king for some reason.

The king was about to explode, but then he calmed himself down and asked us. “Give me the fleece.”

“And again, what for? Someone sick or something?”

“No…” The king murmured. “It’s me.”

“What’s wrong with you? You look healthy to me.” Gil questioned.

“My… manhood… can’t stand up anymore…”

The entire room went silent after the king said that. But soon after, we laughed really loudly.

“Y-You want to use the fleece so your dick can be potent again?” Kingo laughed his ass off while he’s asking the king again.

“Don’t laugh at a king boy.” the king growled at Kingo, tired of his mockery. “I will put your head in front of my palace if you mock me again.”

Kingo snorted. “As if you can do that. And don’t call me a boy, I’m much older than you.”

The king just hummed, not believing Kingo’s words. “So, where’s the fleece?”

“We’re not going to give the fleece to you for a mere problem like impotence.” Kingo shook it off, making the king mad.

“I have told you my secret, and you still reject me?!” the king roared. “Me, a king, rejected?!”

“Looks like you have a rejection problem.” I hummed. “Kingo’s right, we’re not going to give you the fleece just for your impotence.” we don’t have the fleece though, so we really can’t give him anything… poor dude. “My advice though, exercise, and avoid eating fatty food…”

Everyone looked at me with confusion because of my medical advice… “What? I was just helping him…”

“I am fit as it is, what does it have to do with it?” the king questioned rather angrily.

“Well, you need to stay fit, maybe it will help with your… erection problem…” I shrugged. “Anyway, are we done here? let’s get out of here.”

“You’re not going anywhere.” the king growled. “I will lock you here until you give me the fleece.”

I just sighed. “Is this the Cretan hospitality? You guys are really bad at receiving guests…”

The king just huffed and called the guards, then, he told them to watch over us, and make sure that we don’t get out of the room… as if that will stop us.

“Now you’ve done it Kingo…” Gil shook his head. “If only you didn’t bait him in the first place…”

“What? It’s fine, and it’s hilarious he wants to use a magical item to fix his penis.” he chuckled.

“Well, we can’t get out now.” Gil pointed out.

“We could use the window.” Ikaris said as he examined the opened window… really stupid from the king. “I’ll carry you down, don’t worry about falling down.”

“What about the monster? And that kid will probably die if he fights alone.” Gil questioned.

I just sighed. “I’ll go kill the beast.”

“What about the Athenians?”

“Fine, I’ll help them also… you guys find a ship for them.”

“Right, then let’s go.”

“You guys go first.”

Gil looked at me in confusion. “Why?”

I didn’t say anything, instead, my eyes glow golden, and I called fluffy. “I’ll sneak out of this place, the boy’s probably still in this palace, with that young girl…” and after that, I used Fluffy’s power to shrink myself… like ant-man.

“I forgot you can do that now…” Kingo huffed. “How come you have cool powers while I have finger guns…”

“The world is cruel Kingo, deal with it.” I grinned. And after that, we separated.

I then snuck out from the room, passing through the guards easily. After that, I started to search for Theseus.

After a couple of minutes of searching, I finally heard something… I hear… moaning from a room.

“Teenagers…” I shook my head in amusement, then, I ‘knocked’ the door really hard, making sure that those two heard it.

The moaning then stopped. And now, I only heard panicking voices and the ruffling sound.

Not a second later. The door opened, revealing a rather sweaty Ariadne, the smell of sex and teenage hormones entered my nose… it was not pleasant…

“Oh, it’s you.” said Ariadne as she sighed in relief. “I thought you’re my father…”

“Where’s Theseus?” I questioned, straight to the point.

“Right… Theo!” Ariadne shouted and whispered at the same time to the room. “It’s fine, It’s one of your companions.”

I looked at the girl weirdly, Theo? Really?

The boy then quickly appeared, his clothes were a bit roughed up. He then spoke to me in annoyance, probably because I cockblock him… “What do you need?”

“What do you mean ‘What do you need?’” I scoffed. “You’re the one who needs my help, so I’m here to give it to you.” I said as I conjured my bident, scaring the two of them.

“H-How did you do that?!” Theseus exclaimed.

“Doesn’t matter how I did it,” I countered as I stabbed the bident to the ground. “This is your ticket to freedom boy, this thing should penetrate the minotaur’s skin because it’s imbued with cosmic energy.”

“With what?”

I sighed. “Never mind… use it to kill the beast.”

“Now?”

“Of course now.”

“Shouldn’t we prepare for a few more days?” Theseus nervously asked.

“Are you here to save your people or fuck a king’s daughter?” I questioned.

He just sighed, and he pulled the bident from the ground. “Very well…”

“Then go.” I said as I shoved him away from the room.

“Wait, you’re not going?”

“It’s your fight, I’m not going to babysit you.”

I heard Theseus cursed silently, it seems like he’s scared.

“Give me a minute to talk to Ariadne would you?” he pleaded.

“Fine, but be quick, before the king notices it.”

“Wait what?”

“Just go!”

“Okay! Okay!”

The boy then entered the room once again, I saw that Ariadne’s face turned to worry as he said something. She then rummaged through a desk nearby, and took something, a map and a ball of wool. She said something again, and that made Theseus shake his head, but then Ariadne kept pleading, which made Theseus relented and sighed.

After that, the young girl quickly dressed up along with Theseus, and both of them, unfortunately, got out of the room.

“What’s she doing?” I questioned.

“She’s coming with me.” said Theseus with a doubtful expression.

I raised my eyebrow, but didn’t say anything… teenage love really, sooner or later he’ll throw her away to an island.

“Then what are you waiting for, go.” I shoved the two of them away from the room, towards the exit.

And after that, those two ran towards the others’ room, planning to make an escape.

“Well, let’s see what the boy can do.” I murmured as my body shrunk again, following the boy.
