The world cries as two armies battled against one another. Screams of men echoed throughout the sky as the rain soaked the muddy fields. The ground was burnished with entrails and a sickly odour rose up from it.
Arthur was standing in the middle of the rain, his golden sword in hand, as the runes of the blade glowed on the foggy field. He was pale, thousands of emotions were running through his mind, he was in front of someone, someone close to him, someone who had his own blood running through his veins.
“Is this it, child?” asked Arthur in the middle of the bloody field. “I should’ve killed you when you were a baby.”
“Do not misunderstand father.” the man in front of Arthur smirked. “I just wanted to protect step-mother from your vile hands.”
“You are ruining the kingdom!” shouted Arthur as thunder roared on the sky. “Look what you’ve done! Brother against brother! Father against his sons! Killing each other at this forsaken battlefield!”
“It is your fault, father,” said the man. “If only you weren’t so flirty with those immortals… this wouldn’t happen.”
“Immortals?” questioned Arthur. “What do you mean, Mordred?”
“You are disrespectful toward them, father.” spoke Mordred calmly as he approached Arthur. “You crossed your boundaries, you feel invincible because of that toy you called a sword, and now, your kingdom is falling apart.”
“I do not understand.” shook Arthur in denial. “I do not know why you are talking about them.”
Mordred kept walking to Arthur, not showing signs of stopping. “Even though they are immortals, they are petty, father…”
Mordred then stood in front of Arthur, he didn’t raise his sword, and so was Arthur. “You mess with them, they will mess with you.”
Arthur then examined the face of his bastard son. In a way, he was similar to him, handsome, tall, skilled with a sword, but-
“Wait…” Arthur spoke. His voice was shaking, and he raised his golden sword to Mordred. “You’re not my son. Who are you?!”
Mordred then suddenly grinned devilishly in front of Arthur as his body slowly changed to the body of someone else. A black haired man with haunting violet eyes.
“Hello, Arthur.” spoke the man with a grin.
“You!” shouted Arthur. ‘You did all this?!“
“What are you talking about?” the man shrugged. “I did nothing of the sort.”
Arthur clenched his golden sword, he had a face full of rage, and he swung his sword towards the man in front of him, intending to decapitate.
But the man only grabbed the sword gently, and the swing stopped.
“You see Arthur… all these years… you’ve been so disrespectful towards us.” spoke the man, his face turned cold, and Arthur felt like the darkness himself was staring at him. “Just because of this toy in my hand, you think you’re above us? You flirted with Thena in front of me, even though she didn’t like it at all.”
The man then grabbed the golden sword forcefully, and used it as his weapon. He then stabbed Arthur in the stomach, making the king groan in pain.
“I will say again, Arthur,” he continued. “We may be immortal, but we are petty. You mess with my life, I will mess with yours.”
Arthur was now spewing blood, his vision was now blurred, but he tried to keep his consciousness.
The man then pulled the sword from his stomach as his entrails dropped on the ground. Arthur then dropped to the ground, his face looking towards the sky as it was soaked in rain water.
He could hear the screams of his men, they were running from the battlefield. He then thought, where are his noble knights?
“Where are all my noble knights become? Alas, that ever I should see this doleful day!” he shouted, as it was his last breath.
Meanwhile, the man, who was Pluto, was examining the sword. “Quite good for a memento.” he murmured to himself.
These two years, he had whispered to the other knights of the round table. Whispers of mistrust and disloyalty. His ring of deceit was really helpful in these kinds of times. After Arthur sentenced Guinevere to death, Lancelot escaped the prison. On the way, he killed sir Gawain’s relatives, making him the target of a whole vassal.
Sir Gawain then requested king Arthur to lead an army towards Lancelot’s land, and he agreed.
While he was away from the castle, Pluto did some things…

He killed Arthur’s bastard son, and lived as him until today. He again talked to the other knights and vassals, to rebel against king Arthur, and lo and behold, Mordred, or Pluto in disguise, was king before Arthur could return from his conquest.
When he returned of course, he was surprised to see Mordred on the throne, he demanded the throne back, but to no avail. Every knight in the castle wanted to protect Guinevere, so they installed Mordred as king, and Guinevere was free.
After that, the battle that just happened happened. Pluto killed Arthur with his own hand, and took Excalibur as a trinket. All out of pettiness.
Meanwhile, either Ajak turned a blind eye, or she really doesn’t know what’s happening, Pluto was leaning towards the latter, because he was confident in himself that Ajak wouldn’t discover him as Mordred.
Anyway, It is done. Arthur had fallen, along with his line. Camelot had no king anymore, and Pluto doesn’t care about it at all.

After all that, the Eternals were now riding away from Camelot, whose days are numbered by now.
“Well that was an interesting time…” Kingo commented to each other. “Man… Camelot was weird.”
“Backstabbing, infidelity, kinslaying, you name it.” added Phastos. “Thank Arishem we don’t have to go there again.”
“Who knows Phastos, maybe you’ll come back here again, just at another era.” said Pluto in amusement.
Phastos scoffed. “When that day comes is the day that I will teach humans how to destroy themselves.”
“Careful there, Phastos.” Druig commented casually. “You might jinx yourself~”
Phastos just scoffed again and didn’t say anything.
Meanwhile, Thena approached Pluto, and saw the golden sword in his bag. “Is that-”
“Excalibur? Yup.” he said as he unsheathed it, pretty good trinket don’t you think?
“You stole it from Arthur’s corpse?” questioned Sprite.
“Of course.” Pluto answered. “He’s an asshole anyway, don’t really care.”
Sersi then joined in the conversation. “Sir Percy gave me his house’s ring as a farewell gift.”
“He had a crush on you?” Sprite commented.
Ikaris then frowned. “Sir Percy gave you a ring?”
“Well, yeah.” shrugged Sersi. “It’s just a friendly gift, you don’t have to worry about him.”
Pluto just chuckled as he was the ring, he then turned to Makkari. “What about you, Makkari? I know you got some stuff too.”
“I have Lancelot’s armour in my bag.” chuckled Makkari.
“Ugh. how do you even get it?”
“Stole it from his room.” said Makkari casually. “It’s quite shiny.”
Ajak, seeing all this, rolled her eyes. “Okay guys, we both agree that our time in Camelot wasn’t quite enjoyable, but hey, at least we cleaned the deviants in there right?”
“Please Ajak, don’t talk about jobs right now.” groaned Kingo. “I’m tired, let’s talk about anything else.”
And so, the Eternals travelled away from Camelot, not knowing that the kingdom was burning itself to the ground as they left.
