Chapter 7: Chapter 7: The other side of the world

Olympic Movie Theater.

Agnes Cully is having a bad life now. despite being a engineering schematics genius at a young age, her mother didn't care about her but busy canoodling with her lover. after finding her 'uncle' was having an affair with younger woman, they were kicked out of the house. 

Life hase been difficult but she is still persevering but it only got worse when she heard from her mother that her application in University of Oklahoma got rejected on the ground of being a woman. 

So now, she is standing in front of the theater and looking frowning and mind full of confusion. she want to watch movies and immersed herself in it to forget about the her problems, but she doesn't have the money to buy a ticket.

"Hi beatiful lady, do you need help". 

When she was standing there in a daze, an unfamilliar voice sounded snap out of her in confusion. 

Agnes Cully didn't even notice that there was already someone standing in front of her. looking up and saw a handsome face appeared in front of her. she blushes and stare at him, he has a striking short silver blonde hair and violet eyes. although he looks tall and strong, but it cannot hide his immature face.

"Uhhhm no-no, i'm just thinking of something." of course Anges will not tell to a stranger that she doesn't have a money for a movie ticket. 

"My name is Andy Westeros, i noticed that you are standing here looking dazed and frowning, it seems that you are having serious problem,

 i can't help myself getting worried for you, so maybe i can help you." Andy said looking at her with a bright smile.

"No, i'm fine. anyway thanks for the care, My name is Agnes, Agnes Cully." Agnes said while staring at Andy vigilantly.

"I'm thinking maybe i can help. the moment i spotted you, i can't help myself getting distressed when i saw you frowning and looking worried." Andy shaking his head and looking at her vigilant appearance and said.

"Well, the truth is i'm attracted by your appearance, i think you will look more beautiful when you smile." Andy stared at Agnes beautiful face and cannot help himself caressing her hair. "Anyway, Do you want to watch movie?. let's go and i will buy you a ticket."

Agnes Cully blushes at Andy's intimate action while feeling uncomfortable. 

After thinking about it, Agnes Cully agreed. "Thank you for inviting me."

Even if Andy has a bad intention to her, she will not care anymore. she is full of confusion now and only wants to immerse herself in the movie. 

Soon they got in the theatre sat on the back row. Andy want to talk to her but looking at her engrossed expression he dismissed the idea. the movie in this era is not up to taste of Andy as a modern person, but he can only forced himself to watch feeling bored.

Soon the movie ended, Andy and Agnes come out of movie theater.

"I get hungry watching movie, let's go the restaurant." 

Listening to Andy's tone meaning of no refusal, Agnes can only silently follow his arrangement.

After arriving at restaurant and ordering a lot of dishes. Andy and Agnes talk a lot about life, being kicked out of house during 'great depression', her enthusiasm about engineering, and receiving no encouragement from her mother and always insisting to her that only beautiful face matters and her only weapon if she want to survive. well, her mother is right, if Andy didn't arrive earlier, Agnes will succumb to pressure and use her body and beauty to achieve her dream. 

It's already dark when they come out of the restaurant.

Looking at the fidgeting Agnes Cully, Andy smile brightly and said to her. "Do you want to see the other side of the world? follow me."

Andy unhurriedly step to a back alley.

Agnes daze for a moment and muttered. "what other side of the world? did he mean those gray areas or underground black forces."  'What if there's more?' her curiosity as scientific madwoman got the better of her and she quickly followed. for her, Andy is too mysterious and she can't herself from being attracted to him.

After arriving at the back alley, she look at Andy  waiting for her. despite him having a bright smile, Agnes is getting goosebumps. 

"Now, i will show you the other true side of the world." 

Andy raised his hand in front of her.

Slowly, there was black viscious liquid emerging from his hand and squirming like it's alive. 

Agnes is too stunned to speak seeing what is happening in front of her. 

When she reacted from shock and wanted to shout. 

The black liquid suddenly jump from Andy's hand and drilled into her open mouth.

Agnes Cully widened her eyes in fear and clutch her throat.
