==================

1943, during World War II.

An army invaded Europe on a large scale led by Adolf Hitler, the German head of state

As a soldier, Kyle was sent directly to the 102nd Regiment, 6th Marine Division, which was encamped in the frontlines region.

In the afternoon, a military transport plane came to the training base to pick up soldiers, and Kyle arrived at the frontline area around 9 p.m. The transport plane had just arrived at the temporary camp of the War Department, and he understood why he was sent here in such a hurry.

Looking down from the plane's window, surrounded by a dozen warm dim lights, tents and military supplies in the temporary camp were barely set up, and the officers and soldiers in between were like ants on a hot pan.

"Those high-ranked lunatics are still pressuring us, asking for more ammunition support!"

"Come and help me, carry me to an ambulance frame!"

"Where's our manpower? Isn't there anyone from the rear?!"

"All the teams go to the combat zone as reinforcements! I can't let them trample Europe's territory any further!"

The commander of the operations shouted with a horn hissing, and the mourning, wounded with broken bones, were continuously carried into the tents by military medical ambulances. The soldiers covered in blood carried the new ammunition and equipment that had just arrived from the rear, then got into the mud-stained military vehicles, and drove into the darkness in the direction of the combat area.

The US military has always been known for its strict discipline, but now it was such a mess.

"Soldier! Are you a new reinforcement?" A sweaty bearded officer stepped forward and grabbed Kyle who had just gotten off the military helicopter.

"Yes, soldier Kyle came for a report," Kyle responded quickly.

"Just you a recruit? No need to report, you don't have reinforcements, go directly to the battlefield with your weapons! Explain later." The bearded officer said hurriedly, took Kyle's backpack, and threw it next to the camp tent. He completely regarded him as cannon fodder.

It is common knowledge that recruits with no combat experience that get sent to a large-scale battlefield for the first time will never return.

"I see." Kyle took a deep breath, already wearing a combat uniform and a steel helmet. Holding an American rifle, he jumped directly into the back of a military vehicle carrying supplies.

The four-wheel-drive military vehicles came and went without even stopping the fire. They quickly rushed to the front battle area with the supplies, and the two lights in front of the vehicles were like needles probing into the darkness.

Kyle clenched the American rifle, as the sounds of bombardment in front of the military vehicle became clearer, his heartbeat and adrenaline continued to rise.

"I don't seem to be afraid - but vaguely excited?" Kyle murmured to himself, he had drawn too many ability cards, and there were more than a dozen cards to enhance his will and mental strength.

'Forget it, let's not divert our attention.'

Kyle's eyes fell on the supplies in the back of the car, and with a thought, a series of dense item cards appeared on the surface of the boxes.

[Ambulance shelf]

[Emergency Medical Kit]

[Military canned food supply]

[American grenade]

[American rifles (collectively referred to as American rifles)]

[A box of medium-caliber rifle bullets]

...

The above are all white item cards, among which there are a few green items, such as [High Explosive Grenade], [High Power Sniper Rifle], and [Short Bazooka].

These item cards are different from past cards since they are all in an extractable state!

"So it is." Kyle's eyes lit up and said to himself: "I can't extract personal items that are held by others. These materials are temporarily unowned, so I can freely withdraw them and take them, Convert them into an item card, and carry it on my body."

'It's good that I can get certain items at least.'

Kyle immediately began to extract equipment from the car, converted some of them into items, and put them on his body. Anyway, these were hurriedly transported to the front line, and others would not pay attention to them.

However, he thought that the green item card, like a green ability card, would take at least three minutes to extract, but he didn't expect that each extraction of the unowned items would take three seconds.

"Five rounds for a bazooka, two rounds are enough though."

Kyle hesitated for a moment in the end when a sudden burst of intense gunfire broke out. After the driver of the military vehicle let out a scream, the vehicle swayed violently and slammed into some obstacle which stopped it.

'Enemy attack!'

Kyle's reaction was extremely fast, and his body was immediately tense. He quietly squatted down against the back wall of the car compartment with a gun and raised his ears to listen to the sounds outside.

'tap tap'

Several footsteps approached quickly. Kyle quickly understood that the enemy did not seem to want to destroy the material vehicle directly, but instead wanted to plunder it.

"They are reluctant to destroy the materials inside the car, this is my chance." Kyle was very calm, his breathing slowed down, and hundreds of real combat skills and ability cards were perfectly reflected in his memory at this moment.

His eyes seemed to glisten light green as he held the gun in his right hand, and quietly list his left hand into the air. A green item card was quickly caught between his fingers.

Unlike ability cards that can only be used as skills in memories, Item cards are transformed into cards, the cards can be virtualized and materialized, or directly converted back to the original materialized item.

"Be careful, go take a look."

"Don't let your guard down."

The two enemy soldiers were whispering in German and trotted closer to the rear compartment of the military vehicle covered by a green awning. Just when they were about to open the door using a rifle with its bayonet end, a black and rounded ball appeared. These metal objects were thrown out from the inside.

"Müller, grenade!"

"Lie down!"

As soon as their words fell, the bodies of the two German soldiers in the front were directly torn apart by the bombing. As the gravel and flesh splashed the ground in the night, a figure rushed out of the rear compartment of the car.

"There are enemies ahead!" The remaining three German soldiers who were on guard not far away shouted. The area behind the car was an eruption of fire. They fired bullets hitting the areas where their fellow soldiers lay.

"Scheiße, way too fast!"

Under the cover of night and high-explosive grenades, they didn't have time to see Kyle's figure at all. By the time they reacted and looked for it, Kyle's counterattack had already begun.

"Bang!"

High gunshots sounded from the darkness, and a German soldier at the front was shot directly in the middle of his eyebrows by the bullet, the red and white liquid splashed back on the other two Germans.

The two soldiers were too frightened to confirm the direction of the shooter, and then two more shots sounded.

No more, no less, adding up to exactly three shots, the sound of the gunshots was like a decree of death, and the remaining German soldiers soon also became corpses lying on the ground.

"Not bad." Kyle came out from behind a tree in the night and glanced at the bodies of the soldiers who fell in a pool of blood.

While he was just rushing out from the back of the car just now, Kyle glanced to confirm the position of the enemy and waited for the first wave of fierce bullets to stop before shooting accurately with his gun.

The first real battle of his life, a one-on-five without any serious injury, was perfect.

"First time trying to kill someone." Kyle looked at a nearby German soldier with his eyes wide open, apparently a half-dead corpse of a German soldier.

He was confused, after killing someone he felt that he was now in a situation where he has to try harder to survive. There was neither joy nor sorrow on his face just a smile.

"You all are soldiers?"

Kyle thought that he would at least feel a little dizzy after experiencing his first murder, coupled with the extremely bloody scene in front of him.

But in fact, he felt this was natural. His clear heart is warning him that if they want to kill they should be prepared for the consequences, now they are lying on the ground and became cold corpses.

'There is no American justice when defending the home and the country, I'm just here for myself. And on the premise of being able to live in this world, I must stand firm and achieve something no one else has attempted.' Kyle started talking to the corpses on the ground and slowly giving a sadistic smile, "When an enemy crosses paths with me, I only have a few words."

"Get good."
