Chapter 2: Mind

It's been five hours since I've been reincarnated here or so that what I think happened to me. And the most surprising thing wasn't even that it. was the system. The system was complicated at first then. I tried asking it anything but it doesn't say anything other than the first time. 

The system function like a thing that makes me stronger and it contains. A level and I'm still level 1 because I haven't done anything this past few hours. There are also missions that needs to be completed so I can level up. And also a shop for shopping weapons, armors, and guns, I haven't found anything interesting though. 

And my status looks like this.

Physique : E- (Average human physique)

Strength : E- (Average human strength)

Intelligence: E- (Average)

Speed E- (Average)

Stamina E- (Average)

(E- characters are those street level characters in marvel. Hawkeye, BW, Daredevil)

[Missions]

Work out: 100exp - $100: (100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, 10km run everyday) [repeatable]

Gun training: 500exp - $1000 (Shoot a gun and hit a 30km target)

Combat training: 1000exp- $2000 (Participate on your army combat training)

I've been waiting for the nurse to discharge me so I can thank Steve for helping me. But there are more problems I need to look forward to. Especially when I'm at Marvel it's still at War and I never expected this so I never had a plan. But I will do the missions and level up so I will get stronger and beat Thanos hopefully. But that's still a very long timeline and I don't even know if I will be dead or not. 

But when thinking of what I'm gonna do in the future the Nurse then came back and handed me the results and they couldn't find anything wrong.

"Okay, Edward you're free to go and Colonel asks for you to go to his tent. Now go and  goodluck Edward." Dorothy said while smiling at me and waving goodbye.

"Thank you Dorothy" I left while smiling back to her.

And I headed to the Colonel's tent but... I don't know where it is. I was panicking until I saw someone that I know, and yep it was Steve Rogers. 

"Hey Steve!" I called out to him while waving.

"Oh Edward did you just discharge? How are you feeling?"

"I'm completely fine but can I ask you something first?"

"Yeah sure, what is it?"

"Where is the Colonel's barrack? He asked for me earlier and I need to get to him and I forgot where it is." Smiling awkwardly is painful.

"The Colonel? His tent is just up ahead and go left"

"Thank you Steve I will be going now." I said while leaving and also looking at a character that I also was familiar with. It was Peggy Carter in a tent while looking at us.

And so I found the tent and I also found the Doctor that gave the chance to Steve the one and only. Abraham Erskine.

While looking at the Doctor the Colonel was looking at me with a very serious face it looks like I've done something wrong.

"So Edward I heard that you fell down because you were feeling under the weather?" 

"Yes Colonel" 

"And do you still think you have the balls for the military? Because we do not need someone like you in it! We need someone who can fight for their countries even while suffering from and illness or a missing limb son. Even Steve Rogers the one who helped you get to the infirmary has a weak heart!" Colonel said while making a very serious face.

And it got me thinking. 'I can leave the army and live a happy life in the MCU especially if I only live on cities where people was actually safe. But that's being a weakling and I want to save people with the Avengers."

"Sir! I can and I will fight for our country until my bones collapses or my body loses all of it's limbs Sir!"

"Well said Soldier! Now go to training grounds and run for 2 hours!" 

"YES SIR!" I said while running to the training grounds and passing through Steve and already started running.

*Back at the tent*

"That was an interesting conversation you two had" Erskine said 

"Well was it passable as your candidate on your scientific program thingy Doctor?" Chester said

"Colonel I do not need someone who only thinks about the country and not the people inside of it. He must be kind and will not let power blind him."

*Colonel sighed*   "Are you sure Rogers are up to it Doctor?"

"I guess we will find out when it's done Colonel." 

2 hours has passed and Edward is still running for the last time 

*Edward's POV*

"I'M DYING LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW DID I DO ALL OF THAT" Edward thought while breathing heavily and then someone offered him water and a towel. It was Steve

"It's nothing. And did the Colonel make you did this?" Steve said while giving me the water.

"Yeah why?" 

"Isn't a bit too much? You just got out of the infirmary" 

"No it's okay" while drinking I notice the people that was watching me with surprised face.

The Colonel finally let is off and it was already Night and he also asked for Steve to be at the Barracks tomorrow.

And meanwhile I was going back to my bed and then the system notification appeared

[1 power draw can be redeemed at the shop]

Then a ticket and it looked very shiny but I was surprised when no one can see it, there was alot of people in my Barrack. Then I opened up my status then pressed shop.

Then spinning wheel appeared my face and it looked like there was things written on it 

1. Compound V (The boys)

2. Super soldier serum (Captain America)

3. Viltrumite race transformation (Invincible)

4. Stand arrow ( Jojo)

5. Formal craft ritual (Fate)

6. Plus 2 spins 

7. All of haki (one piece) 

I spun the wheel and it landed on Compound V. Then suddenly a syringe full of blue liquid appeared on my hand. But I quickly put it away so no one could see it. But I think about it and decided not to. 

I took the syringe and injected the compound V. I then felt really bad that I wanted to scream but I steeled myself and bit my pillow so no one could hear me. Then a few minutes later the pain finally stopped. But then my vision went black and I fainted.
