Peter’s expression was unreadable.

He understood what a Memory Fragment was now, so he also knew that this Memory Fragment would probably have Edward’s memories. Peter knew that if he were to go through this, he would come to know about Edward… which means that he’ll know about himself.

Peter knew that ‘Peter Parker’ died the day ‘he’ woke up and ráped Gwen afterward. He knew that he was Edward with Peter’s memories. And not Peter with Edward’s memories. It was confusing, but he knew that Peter was dead, and Edward—who did not know who he really is—thinks that he was Peter.

And he knew that if he read this Memory Fragment, he’d be more ‘Edward’ and less ‘Peter’. It’d go like this until nothing of Peter remains, and only ‘Edward’ is left—with Peter’s memories, of course.

What will happen after he becomes more ‘Edward’?
