If Bai Li had not secured the space in time, perhaps there would be the eighth and ninth Dragon-borne.
Of course, sealing the space did not mean their work was done. They must kill the remaining Dragon-borne here and now. Otherwise, they could easily make contact with their original dimension once they got out from here.
Long Ting witnessed and sensed what Bai Li had done. She was encouraged by it and her expression became more determined.
“We cannot allow them to leave. Kill them all!”
The spear seemed to be almost fused with Long Ting as she charged toward the Tower of Dragon Gate.
At the same time, Qin Feng teleported out by more than a thousand meters under Bai Li’s lead. He used the momentum to fling Nangong Feiyang further away.
“Hide!” Qin Feng ordered.
Nangong Feiyang scrambled to find his feet and fled desperately. A few strides later, he turned back bafflingly as he realized that Qin Feng was not leaving with him.
Smash!
The shortest Dragon-borne stood at least three-meter-high. One of them was even measured at four-meter by eye. The entrance was too short for them. They did not bow to exit but crashed past the door instead.
Long Ting, Long Yunyi, the third elder from the Long family, Wan Shichang, and Li Xiao had all been standing-by near the tower.
Not only that but up to a thousand A-tiers in the tenth level had also answered the call and besieged the Tower of Dragon Gate
Inside the tower, numerous cannons at the center square had been loaded and were aimed at the seven Dragon-borne.
Despite having their spatial tunnel shut, the Dragon-borne warriors did not panic. They could always return to their dimension with the waymark in their possession. Moreover, they were confident that no one in this world could stop their march.
“Kill them!”
The seven Dragon-borne lurched at Long Ting and co.
“Dragonspear Art!”
Long Ting growled and a fiery sun dawned behind her. It was her nebula.
Carrying her scorching breath, Long Ting charged forward like an airborne dragon. The spear in her hand turned into a meteor as Long Ting launched it. Its force seemed to split the air apart.
“Roar!”
The aliens growled angrily. Their claws were their weapon and the thick scales on their bodies their armor. They did not fear Long Ting.
Their aura escalated rapidly. With that, their physique also got buffed up. From the already towering three-meter height, they further spurted into ten-meter giants.
“Rawr!”
The angry Dragon-borne opened its maw and spit burning flame.
Boom!
The two forces collided and exploded. It generated a terrible aftershock and toppled the A-tiers around the tower. If B-tiers were around, they would have fallen to the flare-up.
However, within a short instance after the explosion, Long Ting’s long spear continued to pierce through the flame unstoppably.
The Dragon-borne did not expect this and was forced to evade. But it was too late.

The spear gashed the Dragon-borne warrior’s mouth, ear, all the way into half of his face. Blood dripped profusely from the wound.
Long Ting heavily wounded an enemy in her first strike.
The A-tiers were exhilarated watching it. This was how their duke; their king should fight!
The battle ensued as Long Ting took on three enemies alone while the other four S-tiers tried to stall the rest of the Dragon-borne. Such a battle was unseen and unheard of.
The space-time around them appeared to be slightly distorted. However, thanks to the advanced stabilizing technology in Dragon Capital, in addition to Bai Li’s ability earlier, the battle between the S-tiers did not unsettle the dimension like what happened in the Blood River Realm.
Nevertheless, their destructive power was still pretty daunting. They had not yet pushed to their limit like the old man on the imperial robe at Blood River Realm, who turned the entire ruin into nothingness. Still, wherever the battle went, the structures around them crumbled instantly.
The Tower of Dragon Gate was still man-made. It was built to stabilize the spatial tunnel above them. Now, it was falling apart. The central square was also crumbling, leaving only the transparent defense layer below them.
Most importantly, Long Ting’s combat power was outrageous.
Among the A-tiers, Qin Feng was the closest to the battlefield.
“Let’s choose one to attack,” Qin Feng suggested.
Bai Li nodded and surveyed the enemies. She was a beast deity now, so her senses were comparable to that of an S-tier aptitude user.
But since an S-tier could in theory kill an A-tier beast deity, Qin Feng did not want to risk Bai Li moving alone. He kept her by his side to prevent any mishap.
“That’s the weakest!” Bai Li pointed at the S-tier Dragon-borne Wan Shichang was battling.
Indeed, he was the shortest among all after bursting his bloodline power. He stood only at eight-meter. Though his physique was sturdy and his speed was still far superior to A-tier, he was below average as compared to other S-tiers.
He had probably just reached S-tier and not even S1 yet.
On the other hand, Wan Shichang was an S2-tier aptitude user so the human side had an upper hand in this matchup.
“That’s our target then.”
Qin Feng gripped tightly onto his Verdant Emperor Saber. A dark aura began to shroud around them.
“This Dragon-borne is almost at the same level as He Tianxing. If I can kill this intruder, it means I can kill He Tianxing too.”
Qin Feng wished to fight. But in the next moment, he calmed down and concealed his intense battle spirit.
Then, a dark liquid emerged and bathed Qin Feng.
It was the Dark Armor.
Dark Armor had been released previously and was ready to use immediately. It crawled all over Qin Feng and then formed a fully dark armor.
The ancient armor was exquisite in design. But no one would bat an eye because he was currently hidden by the dark. Besides, the Dark Armor was designed to help cover its user’s presence.
Qin Feng initially planned to activate the armor and assassinate the S-tier target quietly. To his surprise, the Dark Armor began to absorb energy from the battlefield once he put it on.
As if it was insanely assimilating the power leaked out from the S-tiers’ nebula.
The attack power unleashed by the S-tiers was more dangerous than the solid-state nebula but it could not be recycled easily. Thus, it was rapidly gathered by the Dark Armor.
Besides, Qin Feng was neither a machine nor a phantom. The armor would deplete the energy of a soul but it had no harm on human flesh.
Moreover, as an aptitude user that had internal energy beyond S-tier, he also had the one-and-only ability to absorb the energy around him. The addition of the Dark Armor amplified his ability and concentrated the energy around him by ten to a hundred folds. The rate of absorption improved considerably, too.
While his internal force was enhanced, his physique was improving too.
In other words, Qin Feng probably did not need to do anything and could still upgrade simply by strolling around the battlefield.
