Chapter 19: CH19 Small Talk

As the door opened a young man strode out. Black hair bound into a tail over his right shoulder.His eyes told of the vicitude of life. They weren't special but like the saying: the eyes are the door to the souls. They told of many stories.

The most blinding feature would have been his missing left hand.It made his demeanor seem more vicious.

So this was the person who saved my life....

A feeling of death came over me as the man, who I was told saved my wife, walked out of the room he was given. 

I was now sure that this being hasn't anything to do with the other clans. I once met the protector of king Richard. Even he as a Void Step stage cultivator didn't give out such an oprressive air.

The first thing that Origin did after walking out was laying his hand gently on Lana's shoulder.

"You are my disciple now, if somebody makes you feel any negative emotions or tries to harm you...just tell me. I can promise you that they won't see the next day."

Th temperature was chilly in the corridor at that moment. Madame Grandal and Bennet didn't know what to say or do. If the people outside knew that he just wanted to tease his new disciple, they would have flipped some tables.

Lana glanced at her master with some scorn, ancestor Martha has told her many stories about him. His pacifist mindset was one of them, it was several hundreds year ago. The short time they spent the time together he didn't show any signs of being a lunatic.

"Thank you master, I don't think it's necesassary to kill someone for me ."

Origin just let out a light chuckle and didn't say anything else to her. He first turned to Svena and said.

"Girl, for our trade...you don't have to go and collect any books for me anymore. As for the payment, I will just live in this room for some time."

Svena was a little surprised, wasn't he like super into it when asking her for books?

Her parents were a little puzzled too. What trade?

Svena turned to her parents and explained the whole thing. Bennet was ashamed after hearing it all.

Which demon did possess him before?he bowed deeply to Origin and ssid in a solemn tone. " I apologize for my rude behavior. My name is Bennet Grandal and I act as the patriarch of this family. I would like to thank you for saving my wife." Beside him madam Grandal also bowed deeply.

Origin didn't mind it. He got his paypack when he told Lana he would kill anyone who bullies her.

"The name is Origin. I am.. a traveller. Saving your wife was also benifical to me in a way. You don't have to be so humble. Anyway, of there is nothing else I would like you all to say goodbye to Lana for some time. She has to cultivate."

The older ones weren't surprised, cultivating is a long road. Svena and Lana on the other hand were puzzled.

"Master? I thought you were staying here for a while? Can't I just have some breaks and go talk to Svena sometimes?"

The same thought was in Svena's head. Weren't they in the same building? 

"Sure, you will have 2 breaks. Once you step into the Symbiosis stage and the other when you reach the Void Step. After you reach Transcended, you will be free to do what you like, alright?"

You could hear the hearts thumb of everyone present. Let alone Transcended stage, even Symbiosis stage will take several dozens  years for most cultivators.

Take Brennet for example, he is already 253 years old but still stuck in the middle stage of Symbiosis.

"M-Master! You can't do this! I'm only at the Ascencion stage, to reach Symbiosis alone will take years! I probably will never even resch the Transcended stag in my life!"

Lana had almost tears in her eyes. Why would her master demand something impossible from her!

Origin was amused, didn't she know that. Oh she didn't.

Origin coughed twice to let her calm down a little. "I'm sorry, I never told you that you got a senior sister and brother. When they came under my tutelage they were mere mortals. They had some boons, I can't deny that. Say do you want to guess what stage they are? They are both 17 years old by the way!"

He had a smug look on his face. Like he said, they had some boons. But they mostly reached their stage because of the environment of the pocket dimension. Even he, as a High Deity, felt that he got stronger a bit after only some weeks in there.

The outsiders listening to them talking were waiting in anticipation. If he was so strong, what realm would they be? 17 years old..maybe Symbiosis? 

Lana was a bit shocked. She had a senior brother and sister! No wait, they were younger than her. So a junior senior sister and brother?

"I don't know, I don't even know what realm you are in master. Nature stage maybe? No if you said they had some boons probably Symbiosis?" Lana didn't even think about higher stages. One could train early in cultivation arts or with meditating. 

It was just that only the body grew stronger and not the mental sphere. Only after reaching the early teenage years could one really train in immortal arts.

To reach Symbiosis stage within 3 or 4 years was already pushing the limit for her and the others thinking process.

He couldn't help but laugh fter hearing his disciple underestimate his two  others.

"Never tell them what you just said. Hahaha, if they hear what you said. They would probably take you away train you in respecting your seniors."

Origin paused a little for dramatic effect. He needed to know if this disciple of him could fullfil the mission he wanted to give her later.

"Ok, I'm not playing anymore. They are both in the Transcended realm, in about three years they will be in the Deity stage. As for me... I will try to break through the Lesser Divine realm after I teach you some things."

A dull sound woke some everyone up. On the floor laid Bennet with the white of his eyes showing. He was scared shitless.

The other 4 weren't better, Bret's eyes were twitching a little. Madam Grandal had her hand before her mouth to not let flies fly in. 

Only Lana and Svena had stars appearing in their eyes.

17 year old Transcended stage! As for the Lesser Divine realm he talked about? They didn't knew what kind of stage that was. Only the unconscious Brennet knew a little about that. That was also the reason took a little nap time.
