The monkey got bored after several minutes of fighting with the human child in front of it. It was fun at first but soon became a hassle.
It took one last look at the child before jumping several meters up onto a tree. What scared the monke was a human male just sitting there and smirking at it.
When? How? These were the only thing in its mind. The child may not be a threat to it but in no way did the monke think it could beat this adult.
A hand grabbed its neck as it wanted to flee and a voice filled with mockery rang in its ears. The weird part wqs that the monkey could understand it.
"You had your fun and now I want some too. I pressume you know this forest well. Like where few people will go? No worries I won't bully you"
The monkey was scared and also reliefed that the human only wanted direction.
Meanwhile on the ground was Timothy looking up the tree while panting. Since when was that adult there?
"Mister, can you free the monkey? I still haven't won yet! If I can beat it I will become an adventurer." Tomothys voice rang in Origins ears and he slwoly looked down on the boy. Not only physically but also in his mind.
"Beat the monkey? You are even to blind to see that it just played around with you. If it wanted to kill you, you would already be dead. Why else would you only have wounds on non life-threatening places? Go home."
Origin didn't even spare a second glance at the little boy. He was much more interested in the monkey.
It was either thaught to fight or was just born to battle. The fighting instinct in this thing was insane.
Origin stood up and warped with the monkey in hand atop the forest. Leaving a frowning child behind.
"So little monkey, point to the place I could build a little place. Only has to be one which doesn't get many or better no visitors."
The monkey in Origins hand was trembling. It may not know much about cultivators but flying and warping weren't things just a nobody could do.
It slowly scanned the entire forest with its eyes. It wasn't like it didn't knew some places which fit the description. The problem was it never saw the forest from the sky. Where was where?
It saw the lake somehow in the middle and a city not far away outside the forest. After calculating a little bit it finally pointed to the ground.
"Scree scre-" before the monke could even finish its try at communicating with the human it already was on the little hill it pointed to.
Origin was statisfied with the monkeys choose and released his grip.
"Hmm not bad. Here you can have a cleansing fruit. Maybe you can become a monkey who fights the heaven hahahaha"
Origin took out one of his many rewards which weren't that interesting to him or his disciples anymore and threw it to the monkey.
He raised his hand and the ground was flattend. With a wave of it, a building appeared. A little house just good enough for one person. As he was looking at his work with contend he saw a little cave just few meters beside his new home.
"Ehh, well whatever. A cave wirh some natural stones for medicine making. Don't care or need them. It's time to buy some things and open the giftbags."
Origin walked into his house and with another wave of his hand some furniture appeared. He sit on a chair and opend his status.
If Origin would only be a little more interested in the monkey he would have seen how myriads of emotion were in its eyes. Ranging from happiness to guilt and back. The last thought of it was, he said with few visitors would also be good..

The city beside the forest which Origin has settled down was called Brack. It wasn't a big city but still had several hundred thousand habitants.
It was also the base of a famous Defender, that was the name for people who fought against the Firstborns and came back.
His name was Simon Kar and was a Deity stage cultivator. His real form was a aquatic serpent.
At the moment he was in the adventure guild and looking menancingly at the guildmaster.
"You send a little child in the forest alone for him to beat a Joking Monkey? Even better the child is the grandchild of my benefactors who gave their lifes to save me..so what do you think about me taking you with me to the battelfield?"
The guildmaster, James, was sweating hard. It wasn't because Simon was stronger. No he was also a Deity stage expert. It was the achievments he had.
If he told the Queen he needed him to come to the battelfield he would be instantly drafted. As he was in an operative position he didn't have to go and fight.
Sure it was looked down upon but it wasn't as bad as loosing his life!
"Now listen Simon! What do you want me to do? That boy comes everyday and begs adventures here to let them join their parties. I did give him this task to make him understand how insignifant he is! You should thank me instead. You also know very well that Joking Monkeys don't kill anybody except they have to fight for survival."
Simon knew that James was right but were there only Joking Monkeys in the forest? No! What if he met a Terror Boar or an Ambush Viper.
"James...if the boy doesn't come back in one piece today... You will know what will happen.."
With big strides did Simon leave after finsihing his threat.
James looked at his back and sneered for a second in his mind. In 4 months you have to go again. Lets see if you can survive there three times!

"What's with my luck today?" Origin was depressive after opening his giftbags. He didn't combine all to gold to have a wider range of rewards.
He could have gotten 17 gold and 2 orange ones but he settled with 18 blues, 8 orange ones and 13 gold.
What did he get from the non golden? An autonom puppet for manual labor. A staff for Void Step cultivators. A protection array for defending Transcended stage attacks. Two fruit trees, one Cleansing Tree and a Cosmic Tree.
The first was good for purifying the body and the second was for connecting to the laws. Sad part? Deity stage and higher don't need these anymore.
As for the rest? Just carbage which he didn't look at twice, well at least for him.
"It seems I really should do only golden ones until I get everything in there...well open"
Origin Spaceship, Origin Knowledge of Cultivation, Heaven-Piercing Staff(Creation), Shatter Void Strike (Higher Divine skill), Tower of Trials (True form), Divine Origin Sect Building
"STOP!" Origin couldn't help but yell to stoo opening the giftbags. He had the need to go over his things. Some names were just to hard to swallow. He would probably get a heart attack if he got more things. He could open them another time.
