Luciana City in the Fushu Clan

Matriarch Fushu was yelling at a cultivatir before her "What do you mean they just vanished?!? Don't tell me that they just vanished into thin air! They didn't even break trough the Shadding Stage yet!" 

The cultivator sighed, "Matriarch Fushu, truth be told we really disn't take this job serious but we would never had something happen to them. We have are 5 Shedding Stage and me included 2 Ascencion Stage cultivators. How could they get kidnapp under our nose? That would have been a Nature stage master. We both know that someone at that level wouldn't do that meaningless the pay."

Matriarch Fushu was still angry at first but after the cultivator before her spoke she did calm down a little.

"So you want to say they did get either teleported away or stumbled on a relict dimension?"

"No, they didn't get teleported away. After we searched the perimeter we didn't find any clues of formation or such. They most triggered a relic. It may sound arrogant of me and I would like to apologize in front. I don't think two mortals could--"

Tha Matriarch slammed her fist on her seat " Go, i will send other people to search for them. Just let me say this. If I ever find out it was you lot, I will have you dead!"

He knew it was only half a threath. She was in the Soul Formation stage but also the leader of her clan. She couldn't just go and murder people.

"Congratulations Host, you disciples Rukia and Tobias broke through the Shedding Stage. Awarded with 2 giftbags (blue), 2 tokens and tailored art Phoenix Reborn (Transcendent) / Dragon Leaping (Transcendent)."

Origin was happy about the giftbags, even if they were only blue. Now he could begin to compare them.

As for the arts..he knew where this was going. He trained in the Twin Art of the Setting Sun. For max effectivity one had to be two people and trained in one of the two. Still a scam system.

"Just a question. Will my status window not be flooded with arts and abilites soon? Also open these bags for me please." 

The answer came fast as always. "No, depending on the usefulness (stage limit) in the category only the highest will be shown. I.E. Phoenix Reborn and Dragon Leaping will not be shown after learning."

That would make sense...

"Opening giftbags, you got: Summoners Book, Dragon Suit, Phoenix Robe and one Lottery token."

Lottery token?!? Don't tell me the ???? in my status is a lottery (scam) system.  As for the Dragon Suit and Pheonix Robe, he could already guess. Why was his system gifting him things for his disciples? He was happy when he read the Summoners Book introduction.

"Killed, tamed and won creatures can be summoned to do your biding. Well that sounds nice."

Not that he had any creatures yet but just imagining having a sapient creature helping him out was a big plus.

Origin was still in his thoughts when his two disciples came before him and kneeled.

"We will never forget masters grace to us!" They knew very well that alone these pills couldn't be bought outside. Anybody would have heard of them!

"First you bow, than you kneel. What will you do next? Lie down in front of me? Get up. I will teach you two some arts for now. As for how fast and much you can comprehend is your job."

Tobias and Rukia got up and looked at their master with sparks in their eyes! Arts? One had to know that if your family was in possesion of one they could easily be a clan. 

Most cultivators under the Soul Transformation don't use any arts except the Basic Art of Cultivation. This art had no upper limit but only a few could outlive the slow cultivation pace.

In the Fushu Clan, one will get to practice the Art of Rain when they reach the peak of Ascencion. This alone shows the worth of them.

Rukia exclaimed "Really? What art is it? An ascencion? Or maybe a Soul Transformation?!"

Tobias was also wondering but he wasn't the person to ask such questions.

Origin looked at them just dumbfounded. Ascencion art? Can that even be used?

"After I impart them to you, you will know it. Also if you both can master them in combat I will gift you with some more things. Just know, at the moment you are just disciples in-name. If you don't meet my standards I will banish you."

Frightend like rabbits both of them shoot straight up and said with trembling voice " We will never disappoint you master!"

Stick and carrot works even in this day and age was the only thing Origin could think about.

He lifted his hands slowly and pointed them at their heads.

"This may hurt for a moment, endure."

He imparted the Twin Art to both of them and the Dragon Art to Tobias and Phoenix Art to Rukia. 

Both held their heads for a solid minute before blinking their eyes in denial. Before they could ask for comformation of their master he turned around and said " In 5 days I want to see progress, the first 2 floors in the tower can also be used for your living quarters. Your master has something important to do now."

He had to go and use the lottery and after that a reading session!

Two statues were left and the training field alone. This time it was Tobias who could speak first.

"Sis...what level would one have to reach to just give out a Transcendend Art and a Deity one like that? I just heard from legends about imparting arts too." He was still in denial. Could it be they didn't meet the outcast of the Minia Family and instead some ten-thousand year old hermit?

Rukia gulped down several mouthful of saliva before she could speak. "Let's not think too much about it now, we need to be proficient in these within 5 days...and If you need a kickstarter just think about the upcoming event in a little bit more than one and a half month."

"Is everything ready for the Tournament in two months?" An old voice drifted through the meeting hall.

In the center a middle-aged man was kneeling replying to the voice. "Yes, little Theim has already reached the Ascencion stage. With the artifacts we got a hold of his first place will be secured."

The old voice was once again heard in the hall shortly after. "Good, this time the Minia Family did send some disciples to preside over this event. Don't make us look like a foolish joke.."

"Yes Grand Elder"
