Cherry blood vessel is a venomous technique. It’s a qi attack like Heavy qi blast that inserts one’s qi into the opponent. The distinction is Heavy qi blast is a move but Cherry blood vessel is a supplement to other techniques. I can add it to any hand technique such as Soundless Palm. Due to how subtle the Cherry blood vessel is, not even the masters can tell if I had used it without examining the body of my opponent.

Its effect is far milder than Heavy qi blast. It merely makes a cultivator harder to use their qi, but it lasts for much longer, hence, you can accumulate it in your opponent’s body far easier. The more Cherry venom in your vessels, the harder it is to control your qi flow. Your blood will get thicker and turn pink. With enough venom, they will paint your veins in the colour of cherry flowers. The blood clots will pop your blood vessels in various places, creating a pattern like cherry trees in the season of blossom. If the tainted blood isn’t let out, death is assured.

Of course, one can lessen the effect of Cherry blood vessel by neutralising the qi of Chery blood vessel before it affects their blood. It’s because the body is trying to offset and absorb the invading qi that the immediate effect of Cherry blood vessel is hampering their qi manipulation. However, Dong Yun An isn’t even at the ninth level of the Foundation stage yet. Without upper qi absorption, it would be life-threatened to her. Moreover, she is concentrating on the fight. Can she even realise the issue and focus on detoxifying the venomous qi?

She isn’t listening. I have to do something. She will die.

I face one of her punches head on. My qi armour can only block half of its destructiveness before shattering. I grab the very hand that just hit me to prevent from being pushed back. I pull on that arm and get behind her. With my left hand on her shoulder and the other bending her arm backward, I somehow subdue her movement. I need to make every second count.

Hmm. What is this body? Why is she so different from others? I make haste to probe her inside.
