“No there is not, but the room that Master Mang usually uses is currently occupied, so if you wish to use the same room as usual, you will have to wait.” Said the servant with a panicked yet serious expression.
“Is it alright if I wait inside then? I don’t want to stay out here in the cold.”
“Yes that’s fine, just don’t enter your usual room until it’s unoccupied.”
Nodding as he pushed open the doors to the washrooms, Myeol Mang walked down to the wooden door in the far back right of the building.
‘I wonder who’s using my usual room?’ Myeol Mang thought as he propped himself up against the wall to relieve some of the pressure from his legs.
After around five minutes of waiting against the wall, Myeol Mang noticed the door to his usual room open.
As Myeol Mang stopped resting himself against the wall and took a step towards the door, he noticed a girl’s face with long black hair pop out from behind the door and stare directly at him with her sharp hazel eyes.
“Oh, it was just you Myeol Mang. You scared me for a second when I felt you come near the door.” Said the girl as she stepped out from the door entirely, revealing her spotless white and blue robes and slightly pink skin.
“Mi Yeon?”
“That’s me, so, you use this room too Myeol Mang?”
“Uhhh….. Yeah I do, I wasn’t expecting you to be the one who was using this room, Mi Yeon.”
“This room is best since it's always the quietest, even when Seok Hwan is here barely a peep makes it into the room.”
“That’s good to know, anyways, I should hurry up and wash myself off, I’ll see you at lunch with Master Tang.” Myeol Mang said as he quickly entered the washroom.
‘He seems pretty nervous around me.’ Mi Yeon thought as she turned and started walking towards the washroom building's exit.
Myeol Mang let out a heavy sigh as he pushed his back against the door. ‘I really need to get better at dealing with girls.’
Getting up off the door and walking over to the bath, Myeol Mang placed his hand in the water to test the temperature.
‘It’s only lukewarm, but it’ll do,’ Myeol Mang thought as he removed his hand from the water and began to remove his drenched clothes.

Opening the doors to the main hall wearing jet black robes slightly wet from the rain, Myeol Mang walked into the hall and towards Jin Tang’s table.
“Greetings, Master Tang.” Myeol Mang said as he arrived at Jin Tang’s table.
“Hello Myeol Mang, please sit while we wait for Sung Ho, Seok Hwan and the others.”
Myeol Mang pulled out one of the chairs next to Jin Tang and immediately asked. “Master Tang, what exactly happened to me after the training yesterday?”
“Wasting no time solving your questions huh? Well at least you keep your mind where it should be.” Jin Tang said after taking a sip of tea.
“I don’t like having questions in the back of my mind for too long, it starts to feel unsettling when something big or important doesn’t have an answer.”
“Well then, I assume you want me to begin with what happened once the black liquid started coming out of your body?”
“Yes please.” Myeol Mang replied as he leaned forward onto the table.
“When I noticed the liquid coming out of your body, you were completely unconscious, but your mouth was moving as if you were eating something.”
“Like I was eating something?” Myeol Mang asked as he thought, ‘did me eating chicken make that stuff come out of my body?’
“Yes, but what confused me was why the black liquid was coming out of you. That liquid came from inside your blood pathways, so unless you consumed some sort of elixir in the past, it shouldn’t have even come out of you.” Jin Tang said as he turned and stared at the main hall doors.
After turning and facing the main hall doors, Myeol Mang stood up from his chair and waved at Sung Ho, who had just opened the doors to the main hall.
“Sung Ho, over here!”
Noticing Myeol Mang waving enthusiastically at him from across the hall, Sung Ho sighed and walked over to Jin Tang’s table.
“Greetings, Master Tang.”
“Please sit, Sung Ho, we still have to wait for Seok Hwan and the others.”
“Seok Hwan?” Sung Ho asked with a confused expression.

Sung Ho turned around to see what the sudden noise was, but was surprised to see four people entering the main hall and walking directly towards the table he was standing in front of.
“Greetings, Master Tang. And hello Myeol Mang.” Seok Hwan said as he arrived at Jin Tang’s table.
“Hello Seok Hwan, and you too, Sang Chul, Seo Jun and Mi Yeon.”
“I’m glad you all have introduced each other, now sit, the food is growing cold.” Jin Tang said in a stern tone as he grabbed another piece of chicken from the table.
As Sung Ho, Seok Hwan and the others sat down and began putting food on their plates, Myeol Mang took a sip of his tea and looked at Mi Yeon.
“Mi Yeon, sorry about what happened earlier. I’ve never been that good at talking with girls by themselves.”
“Oh, don’t worry about it. If you had walked in when I was in the middle of cleaning myself we would have a different problem though.”
“Yeah…. Anyways, Sung Ho, you should introduce yourself.” Myeol Mang said after turning towards Sung Ho.
Everyone at the table sat in silence as they stared at Sung Ho, but Sung Ho only stared back at Seok Hwan before letting out a sigh.
“Haaaaah, my name is Sung Ho, nice to meet you all.”
“Nice to meet you Sung Ho, I’m Seok Hwan,” Seok Hwan said before pointing to his left, “and this is Mi Yeon, Sang Chul and Seo Jun.”
“Nice to meet you all, now, why exactly are we here? Couldn’t me and Myeol Mang quickly eat and get back to our training?”
“Now, now, Sung Ho, rest is required to train, especially after the run that you and Myeol Mang just went through.” Jin Tang said as he turned towards Sung Ho.
“That still doesn’t explain why we’re here, me and Myeol Mang could have just eaten and rested, but instead we’re here eating with Master Tang and four people who I just met today.”
“The point of us four being here is for you and Myeol Mang.” Seok Hwan said after setting down his cup.
“Why are you here? Are you going to help our training in some way?”
“Yes we are. Now, do you know what type of martial arts you want to learn?”
“Martial arts? If I had to choose,” Sung Ho scratched his chin, “I'd probably say the spear.”
“The spear huh? That means you get him, Sang Chul.”
Sung Ho turned and faced Sang Chul with a perplexed expression. “You ‘get’ me?”
“I get to teach you the basics of how to use the spear, and since Master Tang unfortunately doesn’t use the spear, you will have to turn to me if you have questions regarding a technique you are learning.”
“So even though I'm Master Tang’s student, I won't be learning martial arts from him? Am I hearing that right?”
“Sung Ho.” Jin Tang said quietly before putting a piece of chicken into his mouth.
“Yes Master Tang?”
“As I am not a spear master, I cannot teach you in the way of the spear. However, since I cannot teach you that way, I will teach you more in the internal arts.”
“Internal arts? So I'll be receiving more internal energy training from Master Tang since he can’t teach me in the way of the spear? I'm fine with that.”
“Okay now that introductions are out of the way. Will you two listen to me and eat already!?” Jin Tang exclaimed, causing the servants who were eavesdropping on the conversation to jump.
Swallowing their spit as they heard Jin Tang yell at them, Myeol Mang, Sung Ho, Seok Hwan and the others looked down in silence as they ate the rest of the barely warm food on the table.
Myeol Mang set down his chopsticks and stood up from the table with a sigh of relief and spoke. “Master Tang, I’ll meet you and Sung Ho in the training room.”
“Alright Myeol Mang, I’ll show Sung Ho the way there once he finishes eating.” Jin Tang said as he looked at Sung Ho stuffing his face with chicken.
Myeol Mang walked away from the table and towards the main hall doors while he rolled his shoulders to warm up.
‘I doubt Sung Ho is going to be able to wake up tomorrow, since the second workout is harder than the running.’
After opening the main hall doors and walking around the building to the training room, Myeol Mang pushed open the training room doors and looked around the room.
‘Where is that wooden sword?’ Myeol Mang thought as he continued to scan the room.
Noticing a broken wooden sword in the corner of the room, Myeol Mang walked over and stood in front of it with a burning anger in his eyes.
