"I've been good David. Now, why are you here to see me today?" Steven asked as he got up from his chair.

"I came here because of this sword, me and Thomas found it in our attic. It doesn't seem to be made out of Iron or Steel, so we wanted to know what it was made of."

"A sword? It's been a while since I've done one of those, let me take a look at it."

After receiving the sword from Thomas, Steven set the sword down on the desk and pulled the sheath off the blade.

Shocked after seeing the deep blue color going down the center of the blade and the jet black surrounding it, Steven said.

"You said you found this in your attic?"

"Yes, we found it in our attic. Now can you tell us what it's made of?"

"Well, based on looks alone it seems to be made out of two elements, Cobalt and Blackened Steel. Do you mind if I shave off some of the metal to look at it closer?"

"Sure, just don't damage the blade too much," Thomas replied with caution.

"I won't, all I need is some shavings from both colors to put under the electron microscope." Steven said as he pulled out a file and started to rub it along the blade.

After a few minutes of silence, Thomas walked over to the table Steven was working at and looked over his shoulder.

Chink!

"What happened?" David asked as he watched Steven and Thomas's faces grow pale at the sound.

"The sword broke his file…." Thomas said as Steven turned towards David and showed him the broken file.

"This file was made out of High Carbon Steel and it broke by rubbing on this sword. Whatever material this sword is made out of is stronger than pure Iron."

"Stronger than High Carbon Steel? What metals can do that?" David asked as he looked at the broken file.

"No wait, look at the sword, there's a chipped piece covering both colors."

"Wait, where do you see that?" Steven asked as he grabbed a magnifying glass to find the chipped part"

"Right here." Thomas said as he touched the blade where the mark was.

Touching part of the blue-colored metal as he lifted his hand, Thomas suddenly fell backward and landed on the floor. However, instead of feeling pain from suddenly falling, all of the pain was in the hand that touched the blue part of the blade.

"Did you trip?" David asked with a confused look on his face.

"Yeah, the blade shocked me so I was surprised for a second." Thomas said as the pain dissipated from his hand.

'Why did the blade shock me when I touched it once, yet it hasn't shocked Steven even though he's touched the entire blade?' Thomas thought as he watched Steven put the shavings from the sword underneath the microscope.

After twenty minutes of waiting while Steven looked at the metal and jotted down notes, he finally looked up from the microscope and said.

"It doesn't exist!"

"What?"

"The black metal this sword is made out of doesn't exist on the periodic table! This is an entirely new element we are dealing with here! And for the blue part, I can't even tell what it is."

"Wait, why can't you tell what the blue part is?" Thomas asked as he looked at the sword

"I can't even see what element it is. There are too many electrons flying across the atoms."

"So there could be two new elements?"

"Yes, there very well could be."

"So you're saying that two new elements have been in our attic for the past 16 years?"

"Yes, I am. I don't know where this sword was made or who made it, but whoever it was, discovered this metal during their life."

"Well at least we know it was made in China or by a Chinese person. The sword is a dual edged Jian, and look at the engraving above the hilt, It says "Fallen Star" in Chinese." Thomas said as he pointed out the engravings.

"Well, regardless of who or when it was made, you two have brought me a new element. So you two get to name it."

"Thomas, you want to name it? Since you're the one who found it after all."

"Ummm… Sure why not?"

After thinking for a while about what he should name the element, Thomas eventually said.

"How about Manyilite?"

"Huh, that sounds good."

"Alright, well I'm going to keep this piece that got shaved off so you two can keep the sword."

"What are you going to do with that piece of the sword?" Thomas asked as he picked up the sword off the table and put it in its sheath.

"Well, to get the metal identified as an actual element I have to send some form of proof so they can confirm it."

"Ah, of course."

After taking the piece of Manyilite out from under the electron microscope, Steven grabbed an empty storage bottle from a drawer and put the metal into it. Putting the storage bottle on the desk, Steven got up and said,

"Well, if that's all that you needed me to do then I guess we're done here."

"Yeah, that's all we needed. Thanks, Steven."

"No problem, I'm only waiving the pay today because you brought me an entirely new element. Otherwise, I would have made you pay full price." Steven said as he walked over to the door to let David and Thomas out of the lab.

"Have a good day Steven," David said as he walked out of the lab.

After leaving the building, Thomas got back into the passenger's side of the car and rested the sword on his legs. Looking down at the sword, Thomas started to wonder why the sword had shocked him earlier when he touched it.

'Steven said that there were too many electrons flying across the metal to see what element it was. And since electricity is the flow of electrons, meaning there was constant energy in the sword.'

"Wait, Energy?" Thomas said in a surprised voice as his dad got in the car.

"Energy? What are you talking about?" David asked as he started the car.

"You remember how I fell earlier right?"

"Yeah, It was kinda funny."

"Well, Steven said that the blue part of the blade had too many electrons flowing through it."

"Okay…?"

"Well, just before I fell, the blade shocked me when I touched the blue metal. Meaning that there is some kind of electricity or energy in the metal."

"So what you're saying is that the energy that is in the sword is hiding what the second element is? Do you know how crazy that sounds?"

"I know it sounds crazy, but the evidence proves it. Electricity is the flow of electrons, and Steven said there were too many electrons to see what element the blue part was as well as the fact that it shocked me."

"The evidence does back it up, but why would you want energy in the sword?" David said as he started to back the car out of the parking spot.

"I don't know. The only person who could know is the person who made the sword."

After the car left the parking lot, Thomas's phone started to buzz in his pocket. Pulling out his phone to see why it was buzzing, Thomas saw that it was a call from his mom.

Picking up the phone, Thomas said "Hey Mom, what's up?"

"Are you with your dad? He's not answering his phone."

"Yeah, I'll pass the phone over to him," Thomas said as he handed the phone to his dad.

Not having to talk for a little bit, Thomas continued to think about the energy that was in the sword.

'The energy in that sword has to be internal energy. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense. Since there wasn't any electricity back when this sword was made.'

While Thomas waited for his dad to be done with his phone, he started to uncontrollably drift asleep as he leaned back in the car seat.

When Myeol-Mang opened his eyes, he was resting in wet clothing on a cold stone floor. As he pushed himself up off the floor, Myeol-Mang heard someone speak.

"You truly are a special student, Myeol-Mang."

Looking up to see who spoke, Myeol-Mang saw Jin-Tang standing in front of him with a surprised look on his face.

"Master Tang! How long was I asleep for?" Myeol-Mang asked as he got up off the floor.

"An hour."

"Huh?"

"You were asleep on the floor for a mere hour. Yet during that time you got so much rest that it affected your body."

"So I only slept for an hour. Is that all that happened?"

"No, during that hour your body wasn't just resting, It was healing itself faster than anyone I've seen without internal energy."

"Well then, this request isn't going to sound crazy then. Master Tang, can we continue with the training for today?"

"Yes, now get back into position. You still have thirty minutes left in your current workout."

Getting back into the pushup position, Thomas started doing pushups with far less difficulty than before. Seeing how fast Myeol Mang was finishing the pushups, Jin Tang said.

"You know what, forget the thirty minutes. You're going to do pushups until dusk."

"What?!" Thomas exclaimed as he slowed down the pace of his pushups.

As the sun set on Jin Tang's palace, the only noises that could be heard were Myeol Mang's screams of agony.
