*Crunk*
I am walking down some stairs inside the castle with Ava for going out into the city.
"Let's eat some cake! Let's eat some cake!" Ava repeatedly says.
"I want to get some other thing, every time we go out we eat only cake!" I tiredly tell to Ava.
*Every time we go out we take only cake... It's good but I want to try some other type of food.*
Ava starts to complain and beg, "Only this time please!"
"... Alright," I say surrendednly
Jumping out of joy she yells, "Yay!"
"Hey drop your voice!" I exclaim.
There are guards that control the castle at the night, the time they sleep is when there is daylight, she has the habit to talk really loud most of the time, if she talked like this she could wake up the guards.
We step out of the castle, and the change of the air makes me fall to my knees.
The problem I had with the city was that I could feel a lot of the ambient mana, it was impure, I need a lot of energy for every breath I take in this city, though, it has a pro, with all of this mana I could use mana almost freely.
Taking a quick peek in the distance, I noticed we were surrounded by a parade of people all bowing at our entrance. I didn't feel stupor, I got accustomed to this, since I started to hang out with Ava the habitants treated me as if I was a member of the royal family. In my previous life, I was treated similar to this. There aren't only adults bowing at us, there are also children bowing at us, I feel almost like the queen of all those children, Ava made me really popular, so I made many acquaintances, some saw me as a human, and others treated me as if I was an elf, and the children that I saved from those slave traders treat me as a queen. It was exciting being watched from below, this superiority felt intoxicating, having this treatment started to make me spoiled, in no doubt, it will end sometime.
I am dressed in a simple belge long sleeve and a black skirt with a feather wrapped around my forearm, I came out of my room.
"Mhh, let's go to eat some cake," Ava says while watching the whole crowd smiling and holding my hand so that we don't get lost.
We walk in various passages because it's easier to move, and the center of the streets were full of wagons.
We enter an alley to go faster to the stand that sells cakes, as soon we made our way through it we hear a voice in front of us.
“Hmph! Well if it isn’t the human brat that Elder Anderson has taken under. They told me all about you. He snidely stated, "I've got human germs on my clothes," with a horrified expression on his face.
This child, who couldn't be much older than Ava, as well as the group of pals trailing behind him, all wore clothing that made it clear that he was a noble.
I had nearly forgotten how immature kids were after spending so much time with Ava. I really can not observe how the nobility always appeared to behave as if they had been schooled according to the same guidebook, whether they were elves or humans.
He then turned to face Ava, his facing transforming into a well-practiced smile as he offered her his hand. As he extended his hand to her, his expression changed into a trained smile. Princess, staying with this filthy brat is beneath you. Permit me to show you around. He pleaded, anticipating Ava to take his hand.
Ava joined her arm with mine without even glancing in his direction and snarled, "Lisa, let's go. I don't want to walk on a bug unintentionally.
I glance back, piercing the noble child a look of pity, which made his face all red with fury.

“Stop walking! I’m not done with you!” He yelled, running up to me and gripping my shoulder.
“I heard you’re pretty capable for a human mage. Many people know me here. I can manipulate the mana outside of my body without problems! My mother said that I’ll soon even be able to manipulate plants!”
I replied sincerely, yet with a blatantly sarcastic face of surprise and worship. “Wow! Princess Ava! It seems we are in the company of someone special here. I am not decent!”
Ava giggled, not hiding her amusement.
“I’ll be certain to provide you good respect lord of the Elves. So now let us alone...”
As I began walking with Ava away, a sphere of water flew close to my left cheek.
Looking back, I see the noble brat’s face, red with fury, glaring at me as his henchmen let out quiet sighs.
“How can you try to initiate a duel with me..."
"You come from noble blood, Axel, though you need to know your place! Take it back,” Ava ordered, her eyes restrained in a glare.
"Excuse me, princess. But my father made me learn to never let my pride get stepped on. Elizabeth, prepare yourself, you will dishonor yourself as a disciple of Anderson. The choice is yours.” Axel huffed his chest, withdrawing a wand from under his cape.
People started to surround us.
Ava looked unsure about all of this, but just shook my head and took a few steps away from us.
I am actually ready for fighting him, I trained hard in these years, and I don't want to make a bad reputation for the royal family, but he started all of this.
“Princess, please start the duel,” the noble brat said as he began polishing his black wand with his sleeve.
I could hear Ava sighing annoyed.
“Let the duel begin.”
While I did develop my Lucius, I could feel mana boosting every fiber of muscle I bent as I dashed towards Feyrith.
It ended after 3 hits.
He was too presumptuous and he didn't even understand if I was a conjurer or an augmenter, he has 3 years more than me and I still beated him with not much fatigue.
As my knuckles sank in his stomach, all he managed to let out was a sharp gust of air being forced out of his lungs before flying around and tumbling to the floor.
Alex's henchmen and friends eyes had their mouths open wide Ava just smiled happily before taking my hand and running away.
