As the wind blew through the luscious green leaves of the surrounding trees, a visibly young white-haired boy stilly rested upon the base of a large tree. His face was was handsome beyond compare, and the parts of his body that were revealed seemed to have been sculpted by the gods.

The boy's lengthy and snow white hair swayed gently in the wind as his rest came to a close. As the boy opened his sparkling ruby-red eyes, a solemnly grim smile surfaced on his face. It was as if the world seemed dim to him, as if his hope was stripped away, as if he had nothing to live for.

This was because he had just died, not only that, he had even reincarnated. Normally one would be happy to gain another chance at life, but this particular young man had been cursed with blindness in his last life, and it just so happened that this curse followed him into this new life.

To him, it might as well be the same damn life with the same damn curse. Suddenly though, confusion spread across his face. Something unseeable seemed to have appeared in front of him, and he, the blind man was looking at it. In the eyes of the beholder, the unseeable was something that he could see. Whatever it was, it was a miracle. He who knows only the darkness of the deep dark void had actually seen something.

Tightly closing his ruby-red eyes, the young man's brows knitted together and he smiled lightly as he spoke aloud to no-one but himself. "Accept." To the young man in question, what he had seen was something similar to a holographic screen that appeared in the darkness of his vision.

It was a concept and or idea that he was both familiar and unfamiliar with. When he was younger he could still see, and he remembered things like this happening in novels and manga. But that was all in the past since his quickly deteriorating eyesight was completely gone by the time he was 9-years old.

As I leaned upon the trunk of an old tree sheltered by it's shade, my blind eyes saw something in the darkness, something familiar. It was a screen, one that you would see in a game or something, and it said that I've awakened the Blind Template System. Giving me the options to either accept or decline the system, I accepted.

After I accepted, the system showed me a bunch of templates or cards that featured blind characters from anime. Giving me the chance to pick one template of my choice, I scanned through the card-like templates while looking for a good template.

[ Ryo Shimazaki - Mob Psycho 100 ]

[ Gyomei Himejima - Demon Slayer ]

[ Issho Fujitora - One Piece ]

[ Yomi - YuYu Hakusho ]

[ Uzu Sanageyama - Kill la Kill ]

[ Kaname Tōsen - Bleach ]

These six caught my 'eyes', and I skimmed though my memories while pondering about which one I should choose. After some contemplation and memory searching, I went ahead and chose Fujitora from One Piece.

On my part, I thought it was quite logical, and even if he wasn't considered the strongest out of all of them, he was my first choice.

Taking the card in my hand, the system confirmed my choice and pulled up my 'Status'.

There was an immediate influx of information and energy that flooded into my brain and body simultaneously. It felt both amazing and confusing, however the confusion slowly faded as the information and energy was assimilated within me.

My Spiritual Energy surged suddenly before settling within my body, not only that, Fujitora's swordsmanship and techniques were imprinted in my mind.

Another thing was that I could 'see' everything around me. Even though it was limited to around a dozen meters, the feeling of being able to 'see' or sense everything around me was miraculous and bizarre.

But enough with all of that, I had been delaying and or ignoring the fact that I had no idea where I was, so now that I'm conscious of the matter, it would be a good idea to scout the area.

Getting up with relative ease, I quickly observed and moved around a moment before stretching the range of my Observation Haki. I couldn't stretch it by much, but from what I could tell, he was on the outskirts of a forest. Luckily enough there was a road a little ways away. "Hopefully it'll lead me towards some sort of civilization."

Softly speaking aloud as I dashed in the roads direction, I noticed a conveniently parked pick-up truck sitting to the side of the road. It seemed to have been abandoned, as rust coated and covered the exterior part of the truck. Along with the opened tailgate and driver-side door, I saw that the teal-ish paint on the truck had gone through quite a bit of photodegradation.

Nonetheless I decided to check it and see whether or not it was drivable, and even if it wasn't I needed to secure some sort of supplies. Crossing the seemingly deserted and deteriorated asphalt road, I approached the truck without hesitation or caution.

Knowing that there were no signs of life or danger in the vicinity, I made my way over to the abandoned vehicle and proceeded to search it. Finding nothing but leaves in the cargo bed, I went to the side and tried to open the slightly weathered truck tool box.

Pulling up on the latch with one hand, I opened it up the other. Finding a multitude of tools within, I picked up a long screwdriver and inspected it a bit.

There was a negligible amount of rust on most of the tools so I stuffed the screwdriver and a few other tools into the pockets of my baggy cargo pants. Afterwards, I checked out the interior of the truck.

The seats were a bit hard and the glass was a bit yellowed, but other than that the interior didn't seem all that bad. Hopping into the drivers seat, I pulled down the sun visor and out came a few keys attached to a keyring. There were four in total, but it didn't matter to me at the moment.

What I needed to know was whether or not this truck will start. Putting the obvious car-key into the ignition, I turned and held for a brief period. Hearing the engine rumble and start itself up, a look of slight disbelief and surprise appeared on my face. Whether it was fate or fortune, I didn't know, and I didn't really care.

The dashboard showed that the truck had about a quarter of it's tank left, so I wasted not a second of time as I adjusted the rear-view mirror, took hold of the stick-shift, and put it in drive. Easing the pedal down, I did a U-Turn and drove down the basically straight road at a good 60-mph.

Feeling boredom immediately overcome me, I turned on the radio and set it to 97.9, rocking out as I drove down the slightly winding road with a slight smile on my face.
