On a night like any other, a room with its lights turned on could be seen when all of the other apartments' lights were turned off. Inside the room of a multistory apartment, a lone figure could be seen slouching in a gaming chair and staring at the computer in front of him. He appeared tense but relieved as he stared at the completed essay, which was well over 5 pages long.
The figure appeared to be a teenager between the ages of 16 and 17, with long, untidy black hair that dispersed in all directions. He appeared to be on the verge of passing out because of the amount of time he had spent composing the essay for his English teacher who warned him that the assignment is due today.
"Who says that high school is easy?" Muttering the boy with an exhausted and quavering voice. He barely managed to walk to his bed before falling down to the bed like a panda.
"Maybe...tomorrow...will...be better..." He whispered in a hopeful tone, believing the world would brighten when he woke up before sleeping.
After falling asleep in his bed, he perished as a crack that appeared to be breaking down reality itself opened up. The reason why a crack appeared in the Prime Earth was due to the gods and demons fighting against the humans to whom they granted wishes, and they happened to accidentally kill him in the aftermath of their onslaught in the mirror dimension.
The gods and demons were also known as ROBs by the people who lived on Prime Earth. They were entities who granted wishes to their chosen champions after they died in the Prime Earth and then transported them to the universe of their choice. This cycle continued for billions of years until the champion of the greatest ROB devised a plan to overthrow the ROBs with his fellow champions who were also dissatisfied with their current status as subordinates and desired to become rulers to rule over the Prime Earth.
Their ambition to rule over the Prime Earth stemmed from the fact that it was the originator of the entire omniverse due to the imagination accumulated from its sentient being, and it could generate worlds like a powerful tool designed to create the world. Thus, Azeroth, the strongest champion, marched into ROB territory and began a bloodbath with its fellow champions. Due to their sheer numbers, the champions were able to destroy many of the ROBs, but they also had to sacrifice many of their comrades because each ROB was too powerful for a group of 100 low-level champions. Fortunately, there were approximately a million low-level champions, not to mention the strongest champions.
The result of the carnage was the defeat of champions, with only six remaining champions managing to flee, and while the ROBs had won the battle, the losses were too great, with over 80% of the ROBs dead, leaving only 11 high-level ROBs and one low-level ROB who was away doing her job as low-level ROB during the entire battle.
The reason she managed to stay alive was that she was granting a human soul's wish, which will become the last of its kind as a champion since the ROBs decided to never have any more champions and let the humans of the Prime Earth go to heaven and hell. The ROBs can't kill all the humans living in the Prime Earth since doing so would cause the Prime Earth to cease functioning because humans are essential for the Prime Earth to continue generating worlds of their imagination.
They also don't want another rebellion from Prime Earth's humans, therefore the system of selecting champions was banned, causing Prime Earth to return to its tranquil days with no more interference in the afterlife. However, the journey we are interested in would be the last person to be granted wishes from the ROBs. The being who can become a powerful being like the ROBs if he is destined for greatness.
That is the 16-year-old boy that was reincarnated into the anime world of My Hero Academia, where there are heroes, villains, and Quirks to intensify the already-existing conflict between the two sides. The power he gained from the female ROB was a soul Quirk, which is a form of Quirk that resides in human souls and usually reflects the user's wish. The soul Quirk is a gaming system that was customized because the female ROB was not powerful enough to grant the complete version.
In the world of My Hero Academia, a person can have two quirks: one from the body and one from the soul which is not conscious, as revealed in the anime when Izuku meets the past owners of OFA or One For All consciousness. The Quirk one gets from the body is usually inherited from parents, however, the quirk one gets from the soul is unique to the individual because it reflects the user's wish. People in that world are unable to use their two Quirks since they are unaware of their existence and that it only awakens when certain conditions are met. These conditions are super harsh and difficult to fulfill and the Quirks have only been around for only two mere centuries so not much research has been done.
The soul Quirk can't ever be stolen or taken away as it is unique to each person. The soul Quirk name is Digitalization.
The next day in Prime Earth, the family of the reincarnated boy discovered that their son/brother had died, and the doctors told them that it was due to a heart attack because they couldn't find the crack in reality since the ROBs had already begun repairing the damages caused by the aftermath, so no one knew what had happened. The boy's parents and siblings, who had no idea that their son/brother was living on another planet, cried their hearts out, not ever knowing that their boy died from an aftermath of gods and demons fighting against their championships for supremacy.
